Very fresh veggies. Good portion. Egg plant dish was too salty. Pork was a good choice. Rice wadnt the best quality. But excellent and kind service by the waitress. The woo sen glads noodles were even delish the next day.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The service, atmosphere, and food were all excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The dishes feel clean and fresh, so you can enjoy healthy eating without sacrificing flavor. The sauces perfectly complement each dish, and the portions are generous enough to share. Definitely worth the drive to Rancho Vistoso, Oro Valley, your taste buds will thank you. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.

Mali Thai is an Oro Valley restaurant. I was in the area for work, so I thought I'd give it a try. Had the pad Thai chicken to go. It was absolutely wonderful. Staff were very friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good crowd with a pleasant atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Satay chicken

First time here, and having Thai in general. We tried satay chicken appetizer. The chicken was on the dry side but the peanut sauce made the dish. We shared the Mali Thai glass noodles and it was delicious. We got spice level one and it had quite a kick. Great flavor though and we enjoyed it. We will come back.

I tried the spring rolls. They were delicious, but on the small side.. Fast service mid-day and friendly staff.

I can't give a positive review. The service was poor and slow even in a non busy time. The menu and prices are confusing.

4.5/5 We stopped by…read morehere for lunch and had a great experience here. The restaurant is bright and spacious and I love how there's the namesake tuk tuk parked to the side when you enter. We shared some sunmer rolls with tofu to start and I opted for the #54 spicy crispy chicken basil. The summer rolls were beautifully presented and tasted very refreshing. The peanut dipping sauce went well with the rolls. The chicken was very crispy, with a slightly spicy sauce. It had a good amount of basil and veggies with it too. The rice was a little bit mushy in some parts but plentiful. Service was friendly and we were checked on as needed. Portions are very generous.

I'm gonna update this review based on two recent visits within a couple of weeks…read more Food is excellent and a lot of gluten free options as well. Big plus. Both the Holy Basil Chicken and the Spicy Crispy Chicken Basil chicken dishes are excellent. Spicy Crispy Chicken basil has a great sauce (I really like the tamarind sauce in general, it comes with the wings) and very crispy tender chicken. The carrots are great and while I'm not a fan of red/green peppers, they're pretty good too. Chicken wings are breaded in rice flour so not only are they also gluten free, but they're light and crispy and delicious! Service is GREAT. Last visit our server was Dena and she was so great! She made the experience a lot of fun with her upbeat and friendly personality, her attentive and thorough service, and her menu knowledge. I had been considering trying the Pad Prik Pow Crispy Chicken dish, having already had the Spicy Crispy Chicken Basil and loving that dish but wondering how this preparation varies from it. Dena explained that it's got the peanuts and red onions and big green onions but still the same lightly battered chicken. And she wasn't wrong. It was great. She was just pleasant and helpful and fun. The previous visit our server was Kiara. She's great at her job as well. Very endearing and personable, makes sure you're always taken care of, and we even had a nice conversation about music (based on what was playing in the restaurant at the time) with her (it was a slow time of day so no other diners were harmed during the conversation ). Really like their Pinot Grigio bottle option as well - tastes great and a great price point. Fortunate to have Tuk Tuk offering such a great selection of delicious food with great service and many gluten-free options.

We accidentally discovered Tuk Tuk Thai while we were searching for a lunch spot and oh my gosh it…read morewas the best experience! The Thai food was super authentic and delicious, service was great, and the outdoor patio is dog friendly (they even brought out some water for our dog)! For a refreshing drink, get the Thai iced tea. It is really next-level. We enjoyed: Ping Chicken - basically satay, super moist Hoy Joh - deep fried pork, shrimp, crab, water chestnut wrapped in bean curd Yum Kor Moo Yaang - basically nam tok with lots of herbs and char grilled pork Som Tum Pu Pla La - Laotian papaya salad with crab and fermented fish Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly - for some greens! It was a delicious feast and I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Tuk Tuk is located in the Campbell and Glenn shopping center with both indoor and outdoor seating…read more The staff were very friendly and tables turned over quickly so even if busy the wait should not be long. We started with the spring rolls which were fresh and light. A little bit of mint and a delicious peanut sauce with a hint of heat. The rolls are large and make part of a meal by themselves. They have tofu options as well making them a vegetarian option. We ordered the Panang Chicken Curry and Crab noodles. Both were aromatic and good portions. We got two meals out of them. The chicken was a good curry with bright notes including basil. Large pieces of chicken as well as vegetables made the dish hearty. If you like Thai curry, it is excellent. The crab noodles had large amounts of shredded crab and egg. The sauce was slightly sweet and complimented the crab perfectly. Agin the amount of crab made it a hearty meal. The noodles were thin and light and perfectly prepared. Both dishes had a balance of flavors that spoke of a good chef who paid attention even in a fast paced restaurant. This is an excellent and affordable Thai option in Tucson!

My favorite Vietnamese food in Tucson in terms of the food itself…read more My favorites here: #16 Seasoned Julienned taro root with vermicelli noodles, pickled daikon and the typical vietnamese herbs etc and sweet soy sauce. It comes with fried tofu typically but they let you exchange the tofu with a couple of their delicious vietnamese crispy rice paper egg rolls that are stuffed with deliciously seasoned tofu (#14 on the menu) and that's my favorite way to order it. Mixing all of it together is heaven. This is by far my favorite here! I find that I generally really like taro- all parts of the plant! The root as served in this restaurant and in Thai desserts, the leaves in filipino laing and the stalk (elephant ear stalk) in vietnamese Canh Chua soup. #20 Fried rice noodles dish (ask for the crispy option!) . This one became quite expensive recently but when I had it in the past it was delicious. Definitely get the crispy version! #14: Those vietnamese crispy rice paper egg rolls that are stuffed with deliciously seasoned tofu are so good. They let you get them a la carte but the full plate comes with the sauce and herbs. I get them as part of #16 as described above so it has the sauce and herbs in that dish as well. I really love that they have a vegetarian and vegan menu and that they have the vegan sweet soy sauce available in place of fish sauce for that menu. The restaurant is attached to Lee Lee international supermarket which is an absolute must visit in my opinion for international food lovers and people who want to learn about world cuisines. It's a great place to find international ingredients that are not easily found elsewhere. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

There are several different condiments, extra napkins, and utensils already on the table for your convenience. Our food arrived quickly and both items had such depth of flavor! The rice noodles with scallion oil came with onions wrapped in beef and grilled, something we had never tried before but were just as good as it sounds. The pho broth also clearly had been simmering for hours. It was dark and rich in flavor while the veggies were still crisp and fresh. For living in central Tucson, this place is definitely worth the 20 minute drive!
