People are nuts. The hawk is serviceable -ish. Would not recommend. Just don't get meal points if you can avoid it.

It's out of the way so almost no tourists, it's super chill and a great way to take advantage of our beautiful weather. Very polite staff, nothing fancy, just beautiful mountains, lots of natural greenery and a bright pretty indoor area with a fabulous fireplace in inclement weather. I absolutely used to go crazy over their Curry mango chicken salad, I wish they would bring that back. Good for sandwiches, light salads, eggs. It's a fairly small menu but easy to find healthy enough options, as well as traditional hardier brunch selections.

A small sign at the entrance says Malibu Racquet Club. There is ample parking. It looks like a new business. Sleek lines and blonde wood welcome guests up the stairs. It opens to an attractive seating lounge and bar. Straight ahead is the patio dining area. Friendly staff greeted us and brought drinks promptly. We tried the strawberry ricotta pancakes. Two large ones per serving. One of us had the tuna melt with sweet potato fries. It was all delicious. We would definitely recommend it. Ambiance was quiet. Beautiful greenery all around. Really a perfect experience on a special day.

Everything is fresh, fast, organized, and so beautifully done. I do not agree with any review that gives Le Cafe Plage less than 5 stars! I ordered the tuna wrap, and I was absolutely delighted by how good it was. Don't be alarmed when you see it--the tuna is so chunky that I actually brought it back at first because I thought they had given me chicken! LOL. Alad the tuna salad has egg, tomatoes, and onion in it, and it is REALLY good. I especially loved the balsamic vinaigrette that comes with it. It completely lived up to its reputation. it's also a huge portion, so come hungry. Everyone recommended the Caesar salad, so that's definitely what I'm trying next time. I also saw people getting the ice cream, and it looked insanely good. The French attention to detail reigns throughout--from the food to the beautiful cutlery to the Japanese strawberry matcha. I also got a hazelnut beignet and a slice of chocolate-hazelnut cake to go. The merch is also amazing very California and that's kind of when it all comes together to make this an absolute must visit THE BEST VIBES spot if you're new to or juat visiting California. BEING HERE LITERALLY MAKES ME SO THRILLED TO BE BACK IN CALIFORNIA! HOORAY FOR MALIBU! You can dine here on the patio or take things to go, and everything is so thoughtfully done. I would absolutely bring anyone here. I'd come back just for the atmosphere, but the food gives me plenty of reasons to return. My only comment is that I could do without paper straws since they get too soggy but other than that, what a perfect visit! Thank you! Support local :)

Pro tip, order online and pick it up and then find a table in their outdoor patio to eat it at. The food is always fresh and staff are quick and friendly. There's a parking lot right outside which sometimes can get full. If it's full, go next door to the Kith lot and there's plenty of underground parking there.

After seeing the menu and reading the reviews online, we saw that this was a wonderful fusion place with the best reviews -- Yelp didn't let us down! I ordered the chicken teriyaki and subbed sushi rice for salad (the chef paired it with the most amazing seaweed salad), and my husband ordered the salmon bowl and subbed sushi rice for mixed greens as well. The salmon was soft, melted in your mouth and truly on par with the salmon I had in Japan!! The chicken was delicious as well - and the veggies paired with it in the bowl were really tasty. The seating area could use a bit more work, as I felt like the food felt authentic and a hidden gem but the prices for the dishes were on par with that of a sit-down restaurant! You order at the front and pay first, then a server brings the food to your table (if you decide to sit there). We came on Fourth of July for a little bday lunch - and I'm so happy I got to spend my birthday trying out another great restaurant! Will definitely be back and/or check out the Agoura Hills location!

We ordered an iced Strawberry Matcha Latte and an iced Perfect Latte, which were both good, but not necessarily great. Although the matcha was creamy, the flavor was light and a bit too sweet for me (this is personal preference, so if you prefer sweeter matchas, this might be a good choice!). As for the coffee, it was honestly nothing special, just your average sweet latte. The drink price ranges from $6-$8, which is relatively normal for LA cafes. I will say that the decor and ambiance are wonderful, and there is plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas. The inside can get a bit crowded and there is limited indoor seating, but the general energy is great.

Also got the chocolate chip cookie and hand and guyre croissant. I liked the matcha einspeiner vs the matcha squared latte because it wasn't as sweet but really everything was delicious. Pastries were perfectly flaky for the croissant and perfectly chewy for the chocolate chip cookie. Also, they've got the cutest heart shaped straws! Staff was nice. Loved the decor. A bit pricey but I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
