The service was terrible. The stuffed shells with Alfredo were good. However the chicken Mama D had no flavor, bland chicken and pasta mixed with veggies. Garlic knots were okay. The focaccia bread was good. I would not return due to the terrible service. We waited 30 min for boxes to take the leftovers and no one came to check on us or offer us the bill. I got annoyed and got up and checked out in the front because I did not want my time wasted more. The stuffed mushrooms are an excellent appetizer choice to share, but you're not going to want to share the chicken parmigiana I'll tell you that! It was in the top 3 best chicken parms that I've ever had in my life, plus I'd like to highlight that they serve it was with roasted veggies which really balanced out the heaviness of the chicken and pasta. The ambiance here really ties everything together with the music, decorations, and the overall liveliness of the place. Everybody is happy to be there, staff and guests alike, and you can really feel that energy. There is every reason in the world to come here time and time again, arguable the biggest reason is the hospitality. I had the mama D pasta with famous pink sauce and added a large meatball, pasta and sauce was good not great, the meatball wasn't very moist, didn't taste like a Italian meatball, won't order that again, Caesar salad was very good with lots of croutons and good dressing! Service was good, but it seemed like a lot of pressure to work there, owner reprimanding employee in front of customers, not a good look. 1st time at this restaurant, greeted by one of the cooks since the only server was doing a 100 miles per step waiting on other patrons. The young man waiting on tables was very pleasant and attentive and apologetic for keeping us waiting. Like I said he was the only waiter for about 10 tables. He took our order and was non stop the whole time we were there, running from table to table and also sitting people walking in and dealing with take out orders. I was very impressed with his work ethic and enthusiasm. Our food took a minute to come out; however, we were not disappointed. B4 our order was taken, the waiter brought a large portion of garlic bread and oil and vinegar. I don't do heavy garlic on anything so I requested bread w/o garlic. That took a while to come out since a new batch was tossed in the oven just for me. My wife was happy that I didn't touch the garlic bread so she devoured it herself. I order minestrone soup and a pepperoni and cheese Calzon. My wife had egg plant lasagna. The soup was very good with plenty of veggies, it needed a little kick to it so I threw in a ton of red pepper flakes. My Calzon was large enough for two people and I also got a large portion of baked bread. My wife truly enjoyed her dish but since she was stuffed with garlic bread, she could only eat 1/4 of her meal. The dough on my Calzon was baked just right, a bit charred on the ends but not burnt, nice and crispy and the mozzarella, ricotta and pepperoni hit the spot. I could only eat half so we will have delicious leftovers for dinner. The meal was excellent but the service was superb. I didn't ask the young man his name but the check read the name of "Victor". There were several posted promotions offered by the business on the wall, so come and see for your selfs. Also they offer 10% off if paying cash. I didn't have enough cash with me to leave a tip so I paid with CC so I could tip for the outstanding meal plus tip. We will definitely return frequently. read more

They're a well established business and this is their new location. Easy parking. Reviewing what I've had at this location. Pizza 4.5/5. Assembled correctly with no floppy middle. Flavorful, nice chunky toppings, overall outstanding. Calamari 4/5. Perfectly cooked, not too much not too little. Dipping sauce is good. Meatball sandwich 4/5. A bit on the gooey side for my liking. Still it tasted good. Spaghetti 3/5. The sauce tasted good, maybe a little under seasoned. I have a preference for al dente noodles, theirs is cooked all the way, maybe very slightly too much. I'm not going to call it inedible but I've had better. Service is spot on no issues. Being new with all new staff, I think they're going through growing pains. Small things experienced staff know like putting hot food on a cold surface sucks the heat out. Cold plate, cold counter top equals food cooling off faster. Something that's supposed to be hot and crunchy shouldn't be tightly wrapped in plastic wrap, needs air holes for the steam to escape. I tried calling in a to go order, it just rang and went to a voicemail box not set up. I've had many great meals in redondo before it closed.
