The guys in the store are very nice. The food is usually pretty good, the catfish filets are large and cooked just right. The menu prices are something else. So I took a photo of the tv menu board the last time we were there, and my camera didn't get the catfish dinner special price. But I figured about $10 - $15. So I called ahead and ordered 2 catfish dinners and extra piece of fish with each and a regular side of fried mushrooms. Well, when I got there, the total was $50!!! Yes, I said $50 for two large catfish dinners and one side of mushrooms. The receipt shows that the dinner is $14, the mushrooms are $4.30 and each extra catfish filet is $7!! So I called them and they verified that a single piece of catfish filet is simply half the cost of a complete catfish dinner, but you don't get any of the extras (fries, slaw, sauce, etc.) with it. They said that it'd be better to simply order 3 dinners so you get more extras, but we don't need "more extras", we need more reasonable priced fish... Chicago fish and chicken is just a few miles north on 67 and their large catfish dinner includes 3 filets with fries and slaw for only $12.99. read more

Terribly disappointed. Ordered three Chicago hotdog. Came on a plain bun (not poppyseed) and regular hotdog (not a red hot). Obviously microwaved and fell apart with toppings that going everywhere. Did not have sports peppers, but substituted for hot peppers. Final hotdog, I just scrape the toppings off and gave to my dog. Finally got the hotdog after a 25 minute wait. When questioned I was told that it was because they only had two people working there. Seriously, three hot dogs 25 minutes. Once you get in the drive up, you're blocked in with their dumpster. Pretty quick service! Ordered combo over rice, it was lamb and chicken over rice (go figure!!!) and I got it with a pita - now I assumed the pita would be on the side or something but they diced it up and put it in the meal which was different. Looked like a converted fast food restaurant now offering Greek Gyros (carved off a rotating spit) and other menu items. Overall a 3.5 rating for their large gyro sandwiches, value priced meal at ~$7-10pp. We're gyro fans, so to find a place that gives you a large sandwich with tasty fresh sliced gyro meat off the spit, feta cheese, tomatoes, onion and tzatziki sauce hit the spot! We also ordered a gyro plate which was just as generous in portion for the price. Restaurant is casual, counter service friendly, great to sit and enjoy your meal outdoors. This was a for LJS that's been repurposed. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance. They have a very nice and clean dining room with self service ketchup, mustard and hot sauce bottles in a mini fridge. Today they are introducing a new gyro burger, Greek fries and a Perch dinner with fries and garlic bread. I've had the1/4 lb cheeseburger twice now. It comes on a sesame bun and its one of best burgers I've ever had. I love their thick fries too. Not quite steak fries, and they give you a lot. More than I can finish. Today I opted for the two hot dog with fries and a drink for $4.99 special. Note the pictures of hotdogs everywhere inside and out. That will give you an idea of how dressed you can get them. Both my grandson and sister have had a gyro and they love them. My granddaughter loves the 6 piece chicken nugget basket special. They also serve fried and grilled chicken sandwiches, fish sandwich, polish sausage, shrimp, BLT, patty melt, salads, zucchini, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and what I'm trying next, Italian beef. Ok, it is now a day later and I came back for the Italian Beef sandwich. You can get cheese, grilled onions, hot or sweet peppers on it. The grilled onions are very thin sliced so not overwhelming. It comes on a six inch French bread sandwich roll. I would definitely order it again. The grandson ordered the cod fish sandwich for a second time so he has a favorite now. read more

Arguably the best food for the price Mooresville has to offer. Their menu is so vast that it would be impossible for them to not have something you like. From gyros, burgers, chicago style dogs, philly steaks, or a rice bowl, they've got something for you. Portions are HUGE. Italian beef as big as my forearm, and the rice bowls are densely packed. Feeling shorted has never been an issue here, so bring an appetite. Staff is super friendly as well. You do typically have to wait a bit for your food, but when you figure this isn't a fast food place with stuff sitting in a vat all day, it's hardly anything. 11/10 read more

The food is good in they give you a large portion, but a few of the employees have something less to be desired. They're a little rude and when I ask questions such as why doesn't coleslaw and garlic bread come with a certain meal she says because it doesn't I said it well it says it comes with it on the menu board. She says no it doesn't, so I didn't argue with her and the next time I went, I took a picture just for my own satisfaction she still argue with me. read more

Stopped at this (new to us) location for our gyro fix. There seemed to be a bit of a language barrier at the drive thru with some special requests. I think we got it figured out. It's nice to have tasty food options in Mooresville. Although I wish this was a stand alone business instead of part of a chain, that doesn't diminish that having Greek food available in town is a plus. This is a walk in/drive up operation with an ordering process like a fast food place. You order and a number is listed on your receipt that they call out when it is ready. There are lots of seats inside with a small patio out front that could possibly hold additional seating in better weather. I ordered a couple items to see how they stacked up. The Gyro with Feta was a pleasing option. I ordered it with their standard options which include tomato slices, onions, and lots of creamy white dressing that can be a bit messy. The bun is thick and a bit chewy, but generally tastes good. The gyro meat was pretty good too. Overall, a nice option, just not quite the quality of Mr Gyros on 38th Street. I also ordered an Italian sausage with my choice of pepper options. I went with the sweet over the hot. I was surprised the cashier didn't ask what else I wanted on it, so when I got home, I realized it was just the sausage and peppers. No condiments. I tried that way and could tell the sausage was a bit dry with most of the fat cooked out of it. I added some of my own condiments at home and seemed to enjoy it better, but must admit that it was definitely less enjoyable than the gyro. Note that they do have burgers, fries, and even grilled chicken sandwiches for Hoosiers who are too afraid to try something different. Can't say how good they are, but seriously, why even come here with a million other places to get burgers and chicken? Come for the gyros and enjoy a nice tasting meal. Review #1827 read more

Chicago beef with hot peppers is delicious. Its definitely my favorite item on the menu. The Greek salad is always fresh and perfectly lightly dressed. Gyro is good but quite messy. I think it works out better if the sauce is ordered on the side. I'm also a fan of the tenderloin. It's actually a pork fritter, but it's freshly fried and delicious! Know that their "everything" means tomato,mayo, and lettuce. You'll have to ask for onions and mustard. read more

Good food, friendly staff. I had a Philly steak and cheese and my only complaint was the usage of mozzarella cheese rather than the normal provolone or American but it was still very good.
