This location never disappoints us. Long time customer and also a small resteraunt owner myself. I was taught to make Carbanara in the 70's by one of the leading chefs in Virginia and I have had Pasta Carbanara all around this country and world and this is in the top 5. Resteraunt is always clean and service is always top notch. Our server tonight was Kristal and she was superb, very attentive.

I was at the friend's house in Olney. They rave about this pizza often. So I finally decided to join them for dinner. They were about to close so their service was understandably rushed. We didn't have a lot of time to think about the order. We went with the classic - wings and pizza. Wings were pretty good. Pizza was good as well. I wish the pizza base was slightly thinner. Ambiance was good as well. Price is nominal. Lots of parking spots.

My favorite thing about my experience at Mama Lucia was the bread and oil. Ordered a large pizza, half margarita and half hawaiian. The bread on the pizza was extremely thick, not enjoyable for me. Server was waiting tables at the other end of the restaurant so it was a challenge to get refills or ask for anything. This was not a great experience and food was mediocre. The reataurant was dimly lit, smelled a little funny, didn't look too clean. I don't think I'd give it a second chance.

Went here for dinner when we checked out the opening of smoothie king nearby. It was a nice day so we decided to sit outside, might not have been a good idea because flies kept going around us lol. Got the spaghetti and meatballs and loved it. Noodles was soft and flavor was just right. Also love the garlic bread that comes with the meal. My husband ordered a seafood pasta dish, he didn't like it as much. He said it needed more flavor. Service was good at the beginning but they probably forgot about us near the end, had to go look for them after waiting for some time.

    Chicken Alfredo

This was the first time at this restaurant, and heard good things so gave it a try. The chicken Alfredo pasta sauce was watery and had no flavor. The chicken in the chicken Parmesan was petrified and I couldn't chew it to break it down. Both dishes sent back and we said we didn't want anything else. The server said "I'm so sorry you didn't like our food" as he handed me the bill for $72. At the end he gave a free cannoli, which didn't offset the low quality of food.

My wife and I are always talking about the different locations where we dine, and she kept saying, "I can't wait to try it." It was a little busy tonight. There were only a few tables left when we arrived, and shortly afterward they were all filled. We ordered drinks, and I also ordered the Baby Kale Salad. It had fresh apples that were sweet, crisp, and cut perfectly. The vinaigrette complemented all of the ingredients without overpowering them. It was a great way to start dinner. If I had one small suggestion, it would be just a little more dressing, but it was still wonderful. The three of us shared it. For dinner, my wife had the evening special--chicken with pappardelle pasta, asparagus, and a delicious sauce. My mom and I both ordered the Lasagne with house-made pasta, beef, fresh mozzarella, and tomato sauce. The meals came out looking fantastic, as they always do, and everything was excellent. My wife's chicken was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and it paired perfectly with the pappardelle pasta. I already knew the lasagna was going to be outstanding, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The service here continues to be exceptional. Our water glasses were always kept full, empty plates were cleared promptly, and everyone worked together to make it a great dining experience. For dessert, my wife and I ordered our favorite, the Lemon Cheesecake, and my mom chose the Apple Bread Pudding. The cheesecake was excellent, as always, and the bread pudding was also very good--my mom absolutely loved it. Overall, another outstanding meal with excellent service. We will definitely be back.

We visited around 1 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately, which was a great start. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and calamari. The Caesar salad was surprisingly small and came with only two croutons. The calamari was a decent portion size, but the flavor was just okay, I've definitely had better elsewhere. For our entrée, we ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. The flavor itself was very good, but the noodles were extremely watery, almost giving the dish a soup-like consistency. The portion size was also extremely small, especially considering the price point. Overall, I found the restaurant to be quite expensive for both the portion sizes and the overall dining experience. While the service and seating were fine, the food was ultimately underwhelming for me. Unfortunately, it's not a place I would return to.

The basket of the fluffy, soft, warm rolls were incredible and something I will come back for. I got the Mediterranean bruschetta special which came with feta, crabmeat, tomatoes, balsamic glaze and lots of other yummy things on four pieces of bruschetta. It was delicious. The shrimp scampi over the thin fresh noodles was a pleasure - really loved how big the shrimp were and the large helping of pasta. My husband got the lasagna which was good although they used some different cheeses which made it taste a little different but still good. Amanda our waitress was quick, pleasant, and took good care of us. Fratelli's is a Resy restaurant. Make reservations ahead of time, since on Saturdays even at 4:00 pm, all the reservations are already booked for the night. I have returned to Fratelli's for a work group lunch. Kendra was excellent, taking care of our large group with professionalism, efficiency, and a warm smile and manner. I got the !4" pizza which is a deep dish pizza - just perfect - not too buttery. I got sausage which had the long slices of sausage on it, not spicy. You can only eat one or two pieces out of the thick eight slices, the pizza is thick so expect to share or take it home for several more lunches.

The entrees were very good. The salmon had a nice char, but was moist and flavorful. If you like salmon with a sauce, you'll be disappointed. I like mine simple, and this is a well-prepared salmon. The shrimp (3 large) were good. The spinach had a nice garlic flavor and the asparagus was well prepared - not mushy. The chicken Marsala also was good. The Marsala was light (not thick) and somewhat sweet. Very good. Honestly, the bread service was pretty disappointing. Our last visit the bread was fine, but this basket was pretty dried out and almost seemed stale. The oil accompanying the bread had almost no cheese in it. Essentially, you dipped tasteless bread into oil. Really disappointing. The Wild Mushrooms with artichoke were just awesome and oh-so-plentiful, I do believe this one dish could've been a meal all in itself -- but not knowing that, I also got the Grilled Romaine because I'd never had such a thing before, and was interested in trying it. It was great! The Bowl Soup was delicious and comforting as soup is desired to be. Note on the soup: it doesn't have any pasta it in (or at least mine didn't), so if you're watching carbs or avoiding wheat, this is an excellent choice! It all came with some bread, too (that I ended up making a sandwich out of with some of the grilled romaine dish later). This was way more than one meal for me! All of it was delicious! ** Today, I fi-na-ly made it to Fontina Grille in person! It was a beautiful day to eat outside as long as there was some shade -- and so, the awning was put out just for us to lunch outdoors. There is a great selection on this menu and at lunch you can order either lunch or dinner portions. The lunch portions were certainly plentiful! The service was great, and everything was absolutely delicious! I especially enjoyed my side of zoodles. I was surprised and amazed at how well they were done -- they were so luxuriously long, it was really fun! They were also a beautiful bright green, cooked perfectly (not too hard, not too soft -- just right!), nice to twirl on a fork, and came with a really great, garlicky sauce. Mmm .... The salad greens were spectacular, the cheeses were mouth-melty, the bread at the beginning was superbly crisp on the outside and sturdy but soft enough, and chewy on the inside, the dipping olive oil with some grated cheese was excellent and helped tide me over 'til the antipasti of Wild Mushrooms came. I heard the Chilean Sea Bass in the Sea Bass Spring Salad was 'like butta,' it was so soft and easy to cut through and apparently very good. It came with salad greens, cutely-cut, skin-removed orange wedges, strawberry slices all neatly arranged around the edges, and a bit of delectably soft cheese. What can I say? Nothing was amiss! Parking was easy and couldn't be closer, with two designated accessible parking spots available right across the small street, and one not far around the corner. The ambiance outside (where we ate) was very nice. Everything was made easy. The (women's) bathroom is capacious, with a big, accessible stall and two others. The indoor dining area is very big with lots of tables. The best part of walking through the indoor area is catching a glimpse of the real fire, ready to bake! Overall, everything was totally enjoyable!
