The setting itself was lovely, with a real Italian flair. And the food--the food! We kept lunch on the casual side, but every single thing we ordered was delicious. We shared the meatballs, a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and a Caprese salad. When I tell you it was all divine, that is not an exaggeration. We also tried a flight of spritzers--peach, strawberry, and blackberry--which was such a refreshing addition to our meal. To top it all off, I had a pistachio cappuccino, while my daughter enjoyed an espresso. We loved the ambience, we loved the food, and we especially enjoyed each other's company over a truly scrumptious lunch. So we did a pick up order, to set context. Pick went smoothly, staff was very nice. Enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited (ordered there to go) Lorenzo was great. Ambiance was cute. As a Togo order though, and this where they lose a star. The food did not live up to the price. It was dry and the salad, simple Caesar salad, was tasty but not a 15 dollar salad. The pasta was dry, spaghettoni con polpette and a Tagliatelle allá bolognese. Could have used more sauce. Meat balls were nice but a bit dry as well. We live in Tucson, but we like to come here when we are in town. Today we came back for brunch/breakfast and it was delicious! We made reservations and were seated immediately. The service and the food was excellent. We ordered the Salsiccia (sausage, mushrooms, provolone, bell peppers, Parmigiano cream) and added bacon. Came here with my best girlie because the Girl Dinner menu kept showing up on my Instagram. Such a cute Italian spot! The restaurant is bigger than it looks, the vibes are adorable, and the staff was so kind. I went here because they have $19 "Girl Dinner" a few nights during the week + their entire menu is 25% until 5:30pm or so for the summer and you can pair them together! Hidden gem! This is a great Italian restaurant with delicious pasta and plenty of menu options to choose from. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well prepared. This was our first time at Momma Lucy's, and it definitely won't be our last! Everything from the food and drinks to the service was outstanding. We started with the Bruschetta e Burrata, and it was absolutely delicious with fresh, vibrant flavors. For dinner, our table had the Rib Eye with Italian fries, Spaghetti Alla Positano, Famous Pizzele, Polpette, and I had the La Regina Carbonara with Rigatoni. Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. You can tell they take pride in every meal they serve. The Espresso Martinis were amazing and were the perfect way to enjoy the evening. Our server, Chris, was exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. I was worried we would be stared at for having our daughter joining us. Our waiter then gave us menus AND a kid's menu! This was a big plus for us as online did not mention kid's menus. I was willing to take my order to go because it was close to closing time before their dinner rush, but they instead I stay. It is beautiful inside. The outside may be a little unassuming in a shared lot with Dutch Bros, but their beautiful well lit sign is so welcoming and you'll feel like you're in an entirely different place inside. Service was out of this world. It was attentive and kind and so many great recommendations. I chose the Pappardelle Funghi & Salsiccia. It came with complimentary bread and oil. The pasta was the best I've had. The sauce was creamy and the sausage and mushrooms really perfected the meal. 3 couples decided to try this space out cause we saw reviews and Instagram that it was really good and authentic. We made reservations for Valentine's Day. Once we got there, the host table was outside which I get if they want more space inside but we were ushered into this tent that was connected to the restaurant like a ooo up tent as if we were tail gating. That in itself was horrible. I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because at least our service was nice. However, the website did not say that the menu would be limited and we all literally wanted other items that were on the main menu. Even calamari they couldn't make. That's a staple at Italian restaurants! So then we order our drinks, it took 35 minutes for our drinks to arrive. After we got drinks, it took another 15 for the waiter to come back to take our order and then we waited about 40 minutes for the food. Then we ordered another round of drinks and that took another 30 minutes to get to us. Why would Prosecco take 30 minutes to pour? The food was not outstanding at all, felt like I was just at Olive Garden. The carbonara was $28 and the veal was $42. For how the food tasted it should not have been that much. All in all, terrible experience, won't go back. Please do not overbook yourselves to sit people at an extension outside your restaurant that made it less special. The service is great and the drink options were great pairings for our appetizers. We started with the Famous Pizzelle which is fluffy fried pizza dough topped with tomato sauce and parm. Very good but wish it came with a side of tomato sauce for dipping! Went with the Trio Signature Platter for our main which is a TON of food for 2 people but let us try three popular dishes. My favorite was the Amatriciana which had perfectly seared guanciale and soft tomatoes that made up the sauce with a little bit of spice in it.
