    Kids chicken sandwich
    Angel H.

I hate that I can't remember our server's name because he was outstanding. In the past week since we have been to the restaurant, I've been raving about the service. The food was all delish. Even my kid's chicken sandwich. My husband and I both stole bites of it. The plaza salad was probably meant as a meal but we shared it because it just sounded so good - and it was the right decision. I don't have a picture of it but I also got the chocolate budino for dresser and it was *chefs kiss*. I already told my husband that I would like to go back to try other things on the menu and some other cocktails. Also so that I wouldn't have to share my dessert with the kiddos.

Il Braaco was absolutely delicious! Beautifully decorated, upscale, and well priced. Our waiter, Jared, was fabulously enthusiastic-- a true wine connoisseur, he guided us to a great red wine with grape explanations and a tasting before we decided. He also helped with our meal decisions. The menu was very appealing, from salads to apps to entrees to pastas to desserts. We started with the homemade focaccia with whipped ricotta and the wild arugula salad. Three of us had the recommended Bolognese with lamb, beef, and pork ragu -- so fresh and tasty. One of us had the Amalfi Tuna with seared tuna and a delicious vinaigrette over arugula. For dessert, we had an outrageous vanilla ice cream with an olive oil drizzle (sounds gross but wow... it worked) and salted pistachios. Will definitely go back. One of the best meals I've had around town.

Lasagna with a side of (unnecessary) meatballs

Wow. Can't deny that I loved everything we ordered. Had to try the crudo and beef tartare. Both amazing but the beef tartare was maybe my favorite thing of the night. Drinks were also awesome. The Bracco and the Italian martini were top-tier. For entrees, we got the spicy gemelli and the one sheet lasagna. I've never been a lasagna person, but this was INSANELY delicious. Charred, and thin lasagna noodles, with amazing ingredients, especially the ricotta, was to die for. It is meatless, so if that matters to you, you should order some meatballs or something. But honestly it's not necessary. My favorite dish is chicken piccata. My wife won't eat it, so I ordered an extra entree to-go. It was amazing. Maybe my favorite entree despite the fact that it was reheated at home. If that wasn't enough, the cheesecake with its delicious crust was incredible. I hate to say it but Il Bracco more than lives up to the hype!

This is a fairly new restaurant which is a chain from Texas, so we thought we would check it out. The pasta was great, but the reason for 3 stars was the service and the steak. Our server was nice but not super attentive. We had to ask several times to refill our water, I'm not sure why he didn't just leave the water jug at our table. They also kept bringing us dirty flatware. There was cold air blowing directly on our table so we were freezing, but it also made our food cold and less enjoyable. The Bolognese was very delicious. The vodka pasta was a bit dry. But the pasta itself is made in house and tastes good. My husband asked not to char the filet, but it still came out quite charred and our server said there was nothing the chef could do about it. What was also weird was that the broccolini was charred. The scallops were cooked well and the salad on top tasted good, but it didn't quite go with the scallops. I did think the dessert was quite good - we had an olive oil ice cream and tiramisu. Mediocre food and service; there are definitely better Italian restaurants, so will not return again.

If you're looking for the newest hot spot in Scottsdale, then look no further. il Bracco has a great vibe for your dinner and drinks. Definitely make a reservation because it is a packed house. The food was delicious and caters to all.

I've been to this restaurant almost 10 times because the food, drinks, atmosphere, and most of the staff are absolutely amazing. It's honestly one of my favorite spots. The cocktails are delicious, the vibe is fun, and every experience I've had here up until now has been great. ATTENTION ‼ : The reason for the 4 star review instead of 5 is because of an interaction with a manager named Amanda that completely shocked me. Here's what happened: the restaurant had already closed, and there was only one other party left in the building who were also wrapping up and leaving. I was sitting at the bar finishing signing my check and filling out the tip. The bartender asked me something that made me laugh and yes, I do have a loud laugh. While I was literally signing the check preparing to leave, Amanda came up behind me, tapped me on the shoulder, gave me a disgusted look, and said: "You know you're not the only person in the restaurant, right?" I immediately apologized and said I was leaving now. Instead of leaving it there, she continued by telling me I was "so loud" and needed to "keep it down." I again said I understood and that I was literally on my way out. She then said, "I'm going to have to ask you to stop being obnoxious," and walked away. I was honestly stunned. Not only was the restaurant basically empty, but I was actively paying and leaving. The bartender even apologized to me afterward for how she spoke to me. I want to make it clear this review is not about the restaurant as a whole because I truly do love this place. The food and vibe are absolutely worth visiting for. But management matters, and the way Amanda spoke to a paying customer was unnecessarily rude and completely lacking basic hospitality or situational awareness. I hope the owners see this and provide some coaching on how to appropriately speak to guests and how to read the room before escalating a completely harmless situation.

Great ambiance, our server was super nice and helped us a lot with the menu. The interior really reminded me of Hillstone restaurants, very classy vibes. They have complementary valet since parking is a little tricky. The star of the show was the meatballs. The red sauce that it came with was phenomenal, perfectly balanced sweetness, tartness, and salty umami. It comes with a buttery, crispy yet bouncy focaccia, and we also got the whipped ricotta to try as well, which was a perfect way to try many of the appetizer items. We wanted to save the meatballs to eat with our pastas, but it was too hard to resist the piping hot meatball, they were gone before our next course came. The chopped salad was delicious, perfectly refreshing and the banana peppers added a perfect kick, while the fried garbanzo beans added a great crunch. All the pieces of this salad really did its job. For pastas we got the spicy vodka gemelli, and cacio e Pepe bucatini. They have a few options for protein (which aren't listed on the menu for some reason) but we opted out. They were definitely great, perfectly seasoned, but we have had better. Overall I would definitely recommend trying this place out, meatballs are a must try!

    Chicken piccata

Still thinking about the great experience, wonderful service, and terrific food. The standout dishes were the meatballs, gemeli pasta with red sauce, and the chicken piccata was out of this world. The fried artichokes were good, but half of it was just kind of semi burnt flakes, but the amazing aïoli made up for it. Definitely looking forward to returning. Had a bit of a glitch with the valet, so will try to avoid using them next time. We needed a Disability spot, but valet had parked cars in those spaces that did not have Disability placards or plates. When asked about this, the valet said - "we don't have disability spots on the weekends"! Kind of absurd and completely inappropriate, but management more than made up for it The valet is not a reflection of the Restaurant as they are a third-party service.

This place is so so good. The Caio de peppo is perfect, however the Il lemonn is even better. Must start with the buratta is you can have cheese

Lovely spot for Sunday book club with the girls! We had some cocktails/wine, shared the focaccia (a must), and had some yummy lunch. It's such a nice, open space with the option to sit outside. The service was great - perfectly spaced out appetizers and entrees. Thank you Keishon for the fantastic serviThere is also complimentary valet, so no need to worry about parking. My favorites: Focaccia + The Plaza salad + the wine list Least favorite: Italian Sundae (too much olive oil for me personally, but I know some people love it!)

We had a great experience at Il Bracco. The ambiance is great. Lots of in and outdoor seating and a huge bar. You will need to make a RSVP. Our server was Josie and she did a fantastic job helping us navigate the menu. The staff was a 10 out of 10. The food was decent. We got the fried artichokes and focaccia bread for an app. We enjoyed the sea bass.

More then 5 stars would be fair - this place is incredible. Waiter - Sage, was extremely friendly and professional, whole staff was attentive during our dinner here last night. Place is the best atmosphere, sat outside and had a bunch of wine and food cannot wait to go back so pumped this place is right down the road from me now. Apps - foccacia , meatballs, broccolini, foccaciia bread and meatballs are incredible Entrees - I had the gemelli and added chicken holy sh one of the best pasta dishes I've had, probably top pasta dish for me in the valley will 100 percent get again. Mom got the piccata - they loved it. Amazing place, so happy they're crushing, very well deserved you can just tell they know what they're doing. Could not recommend enough!

Only open for a couple weeks now and we managed to score a reservation. Our server was Sage - he was fantastic. But I appreciate the team approach in service. Everyone was nice and full of personality. Sage nows the menu well well and he managed to be attentive on a busy Saturday night. The food was high quality with an innovative approach. There were some options that you don't see often. I especially loved the way the lasagna was made - that was a whole vibe! While we waited for our table, we got espresso martinis. It was one of the best I have had in a very long time!!! Bravo!! And the bartender was a delight. What they need to work on: the napkin roll was dirty, then when they brought a new set up, the fork was dirty with crusty food. Can't wait to be back!

We weren't ready! I think he was disappointed that we were not going to build a big bar tab. Only 2 of us ordered from the bar list. Now to the food. We've eaten at this place many many times over the years. And returned because the food and service were excellent. However this time, our food was far from what we expected, and the waiter seemed like he wished he were anywhere else but there! The appetizer ordered was so haphazardly put on the plate, and was also not tasty. My husband's salmon was thin and dry. I don't think this place has seen any updating since it opened. Currently, it feels dank and dirty with no signs of welcoming any changes. It's always sad to see the neglect of management/investors in not protecting their stock in trade- their reputation and respect for their customers.

This is about how we were treated last night -- not the food…read more I really avoid giving poor reviews but in this case, I think others need to be aware of what they may encounter even with a reservation at DiMaggio's. I write this as someone who enjoys their food and has spent many hundreds of dollars there in the past. Last night, I arrived a few minutes early for our 6:15 reservation for a party of 2 while my dining companion was parking her car. The hostess took me to a table outside, on their empty patio, and said it was the only table they had. I explained that sitting in 105 ℉ heat and very high humidity around a sea of empty tables would not make for a pleasant dining experience. Do you have another table, please? Recognizing that their tables were probably all booked, I offered for us to sit at a high-top in the bar area or at the bar, if that would help. There were open high-top tables and several open seats at the bar. Well, even that was fruitless. I was informed that the open bar seats were "reserved for the owner's daughter," which was an effective way of telling me my business is unimportant to them. Meanwhile, an older gentleman in a suit who appeared to be a host, stood there watching the situation and doing nothing to help honor our reservation. So, I left. As someone who enjoys their food and has patronized DiMaggio's on multiple occasions, their dismissive treatment left me not wanting to return. So, if you have a reservation, I suggest confirming that they have an acceptable table for your party's needs. And as for the guy in a suit, next time do something to help your guests and hostesses alike.

I did go on a first date here and maybe not as romantic as I would have liked -- much more of a family vibe -- or in the bar area was all about sports. It wasn't too loud so that was good since we were doing a lot of talking, LOL. It was a Saturday night and my date had made a reservation but it looked like we could have easily gotten a table without one. There is a parking lot but couldn't tell if it was easy parking because we took an Uber since we were drinkiing. I started with an espresso martini and I would give it a 4/10 -- I think the espresso used was low quality because it wasn't my favorite. My date got a whiskey old fashioned and he liked it. Service was pretty good -- it was a busy Saturday night. I wanted to order a glass of wine with my meal but the server was gone for some time so my date had to flag her down. I ordered the halibut with crab on top and the server recommended a white wine to pair -- I thought it was an usual suggestion but went with it -- she didn't even suggest which white - so I went with a Sav Blanc and it was actually quite good -- I didn't catch the name. We started with some shrimp cocktail and that was pretty good, sauce was tasty. The halibut was actually quite good and cooked to perfection - the crab on top was really good too -- it came on a bed of linguini which was too much -- I didn't really eat that. My date had the filet special with a lobster sauce -- it looked really rich and the portion was huge! He couldn't even eat it all. Overall I enjoyed my meal, I was quite full when we left, LOL! I didn't catch how much the total cost was but I think it had to have been at least $200 -- so definitely some dough will be dropped! But for a special occasion it is worth it.
