Our family took the Crystal Lake Trail in the morning and felt we had earned some ice cream. Mammoth Fun Shop was recommended by friends and did not disappoint! Lots of FUN on every shelf (games, toys, souvenirs...) but LOVED the ice cream! Just because the selection isn't 31+ flavors doesn't mean I didn't have a hard time deciding between 3 or 4 that I wanted. I had Marionberry sherbet because it's a flavor I don't usually see at home. It was delicious. Our family also had salted caramel, coffee, huckelberry, and a small chocolate sundae. Everyone enjoyed their treat. In the time of COVID-19, they are keeping it safe by providing hand sanitizer BEFORE entering the shop, requiring masks (hard to imagine anyone that would consider this small social courtesy a problem at this point), limiting the number of people inside (and we never felt rushed to make decisions and leave, btw), plexiglass in the serving and check-out areas, and everything was clean, clean, clean! Super welcoming and friendly owner waited on us. I really recommend stopping by Mammoth Fun Shop during your visit! read more

This place is amazing. We went there with a group of 9 youngest 4 and all the ay up to grandparents. We were all amazed by their variety and selection. Even after checking out we didn't even make it to the car before we noticed more cool stuff and had to go back in. They literally have tons of stuff. Toys, games, juggling stuff, cards, souvenirs ice cream and more. Definitely want to go back. Only regret is we visited the last day of our trip and didn't try the ice cream. read more

We visited the Fun Shop today after a morning hike. What a treat! Quaint shop with games and souvenirs. Camille greeted us with a smile and welcomed us in after a large group had left. They are extremely COVID safe. With all that said, I came for the ice cream and I was not disappointed. Salted caramel in a waffle cone, it was great. Wonderful shop that I have gone to multiple times when stuck trying to find just the right gift for a picky nephew & every time the staff is able to ensure I give him his favorite gift. During these trying times it is also great to see that the staff is masked to protect the customers & that customers are required to wear masks to protect staff & other customers. Omggggg I come here WAY too often for their ice cream. They hook it up with toppings and their flavors are on constant rotation. If you're lucky enough to be there when the huckleberry ice cream is available definitely get it. They have tons of fun toy/ gift options and a million different board games.
