If you really like coffee and drink espresso or have it plain (without sweeteners or creamers), this isn't the place for you. They do have a lot of specialty drinks that, similar to Starbucks, hold up consistently to this type of roast. I'll leave this place to those who like that, but it's not for me. Mammoth Coffee Roasting Company was fantastic! We visited on the morning of Thanksgiving and found them somewhat busy. The interior had a cozy vibe and plenty of seating. The manager seemed to be training new staff, but the place still ran smoothly. I ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Avocado Toast. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was tasty and strong! It was a bit lighter in color compared to what I'm used to, but I really liked it. My Avocado Toast was huge. It was nicely made with greens, tomato slices, and balsamic glaze. I ended up giving half of it away, because it was super filling. I also took a few bites of my friend's Maple Bar, which was delicious - very large, nice fluffy dough. Let me start off by saying that the logo is absolutely adorable! Unfortunately, they didn't have any stickers on hand but hopefully next time they will and maybe they'll let me know, haha! Now, onto the important part, breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this spot for breakfast or brunch. The staff was super nice and incredibly patient even with a long line of customers. Came by on the way out of Mammoth around 8am and this place was already busy! Parking is shared in a small lot. Lots of people walk or bike here so it wasn't too bad. They're popular for these cinnamon rolls which was out of stock already. Instead, I tried their coffee donut and cream cheese everything bagel. I was surprised by how strong the coffee tasted in the donut which balanced the sweetness. The bagel was pretty standard and could be toasted. Lots of indoor seating with people enjoying their morning brew. I'll be sure to try their coffees next time. They also had plenty of souvenirs/merch. read more

The vegan lemon muffin taste just like a lemon bar toooed w pistachio! You couldn't tell it was vegan. The pumpkin muffin was great too! Probably personal taste preference but I felt my coffee (a regular cold brew) tasted like burnt dirt - was really not digging the flavor profile and no amount of sugar or creamer was going to fix that. My wife said her Vietnamese coffee was better but it definitely didn't taste like your traditional Vietnamese coffee either (just looks like drip with condensed milk). Service was fine but prices are also really high. Paying almost $20 for two coffees feels bad, especially if it taste like it did. Maybe some people like the flavor of the coffee here but not me. Came here with four of my buddies after a long camping trip and this breakfast burrito really hit the spot. A nice mom and Pop owned restaurant made us feel super welcome, especially when my breakfast burrito got taken by another customer they remade it with no hesitation. Breakfast burrito was super filling, eggs super fluffy and not dry, plenty of meat (sausage was juicy and bacon was crispy), and the salsa was the perfect addition on top. Really happy about coming to this place and would definitely hit it again when I'm back in town. Chai latte was pretty good too. My wife says the latte was the best of our trip and I thought the breakfast burrito was a good showing. There is some items on the menu that I think run very pricey, like the nitro cold brew for nearly $10 in a large. Our order was about $40 after tip. The service was speedy and the one gentleman working, who may have been the owner, was super funny and kind. The space is nice with lots of seating. I was very interested in the pop-up restaurant they seem to do, but sadly I won't be around to give it a try. I would make sure this is one of your top coffee spots in Mammoth when visiting! Total bummer. We came here 3 years ago and it was our favorite! We were looking forward to this coffee spot while we were on vacation this weekend. We walked in and the line was extremely long which is understandable since it's memorial weekend. We waited for 30 minutes to get our coffee order in, EJ was super friendly but the coffee was absolutely horrible and extremely expensive. We ordered 2 iced lattes, a non espresso Frappuccino, a horizon chocolate milk in a carton and a sprinkle donut = $45. I did the Devil's Postpile hike before the sunsrise, so this was a perfect spot to catch up on some extra morning coffee and a donut as a self-reward. The owner was super friendly and had the mild roast that I needed brewed! He insisted the donuts are made fresh every morning, and my classic powdered sugar did not dissapoint. Swung by for a quick cup of coffee on our way out of Mammoth one morning and I was greeted with a line out the door so I knew it must be good. Despite the line, everyone worked quickly and it only took about 20 mins from stepping into line to receiving our coffees which I considered to be great! The staff was warm and welcoming. They made some great recommendations. They not only have a large selection of coffee but have some incredible looking donuts including a very large donut called The Mammoth Donut. Stopped by to get some coffee for the morning. There is a small parking lot outside of this coffee shop. The shop is very warm, and it is perfect for this cold weather! They serve breakfast food, donuts, pastries, and coffee. There was a line when I got here. Staff is very friendly. Barista serves coffee by calling each customers name with passion. I ordered a vanilla latte and a cinnamon roll. I heard that the cinnamon roll is only available during weekend. Both items were decent, and nothing stands out.
