Eastside AYCE buffet that does pan asian, seafood and sushi. Not quite as expansive as Feast Buffet in Renton but it has all the required AYCE options like snow crab legs, Chinese American take out foods, cheesy spinach, a made to order Mongolian BBQ grill and sushi selection. The stand out for me is the popcorn machine! I have never seen this at any other AYCE joints. Movie theater popcorn is a personal weakness of mine that I will never resist! Drinks are not self serve and you put in your drink order when you pay to enter, and your bevy is brought to your table. You may need to be assertive in flagging down staff to refill. It is not a far walk from the 2 line light link rail for an easy car free commute if you are coming from Seattle!

I think it's the 10th time that I'm visiting this restaurant, and I continue bringing friends that become frequent visitors as well ... if it wasn't a buffet, I would come once a week, but I end up eating too much of course so need to manage the visits carefully

    Pretty good selection

No clue why, but this was my niece's choice, for her birthday. She found it online and insisted. Very unassuming, on the outside, but the inside is actually quite nice! The place is nice and clean. Good selection of food items and, super friendly staff too! I liked that they had a nice sushi selection, seafood and desserts, equipped with a chocolate fountain! It was great! Glad she made a nice choice!

I've visited this place twice for Thanksgiving lunch, and it never disappointed! The interior is clean and inviting, with plenty of seating to accommodate large crowds. They offer an impressive variety of food, including salads, sushi, fruits, a stir-fry station, Chinese and American entrées, soups, and desserts. On both visits, the sushi, oysters, and crab legs were especially good! Although it was busy each time, the staff was attentive--quickly clearing plates and keeping our water glasses full. I will be back!

This is the second buffet I've visited, located in Redmond. There weren't too many customers at lunchtime, but the food was fresh, and at first glance, nothing looked unappetizing. Environment: Redmond is very close to Bellevue, with many big tech companies nearby, so the local spending power is high. As a result, the environment is naturally not an issue. The buffet area is clean and well‑organized, with clearly separated sections: Japanese food, hot dishes, salad, fruit, steamed dim sum, and Western food. The clientele here is noticeably more diverse than at the buffet I visited in Auburn - clearly thanks to the greater variety of food. The seating is spacious. Overall, a big plus. Service: Nothing stood out about the service, except that the staff cleared plates promptly. I think a buffet restaurant should proactively ask customers about their dining experience in order to adjust the menu and introduce new items. After all, constant renewal and innovation are a restaurant's promotional tools. Taste / Food: Steak - The first thing I tried from the Chinese food section. The beef quality wasn't outstanding; it was cooked well‑done and a bit too salty. Not recommended. Sushi - The salmon sushi was fresh. For the Arctic surf clam sushi, each piece came with two slices of clam, but the nori overpowered the delicate flavour of the clam - not recommended. Cantonese steamed dim sum - The shrimp dumplings (har gow) were pre‑made / semi‑finished products. As I've mentioned before, if a restaurant doesn't make them from scratch, using a good semi‑finished product actually becomes a matter of trust. If a good restaurant carefully selects a high‑quality pre‑made product, I think most customers can accept it. The steamed ginger & scallion beef tripe was tender, with a balanced saltiness - recommended. The steamed purple rice cake was also a semi‑finished product, but it was slightly undercooked. Hot dishes - The total number of raw ingredients used in the hot dishes was no more than 15 SKUs, often combined in predictable ways. I tried beef with broccoli, plain stir‑fried broccoli, celery with shrimp, etc. The wok work wasn't particularly impressive. Fruit - When fruit sits out for too long, it oxidises - for example, pineapple and cantaloupe. I was a bit disappointed to see mango pudding in the fruit section. The strawberries were good. Final thoughts: As someone who used to work in the restaurant industry, the key to making a buffet stand out is actually product selection (choice of dishes and ingredients). The profit model of a buffet isn't a secret, so finding great suppliers and competitive purchasing prices becomes critical. The dining experience at a buffet is similar to hot pot - we give the choice to the customers, and they decide for themselves. That's why product selection is even more important for a buffet's competitiveness. Overall, the whole buffet experience is very enjoyable. All in all, recommend

The wide variety of food is great on weekends and for dinner. The wait staff are very friendly, attentive, and come by frequently to take away finished plates and refill water. Ambience is okay. The negative is that they impose a 10% service charge you can't opt out of and don't disclose. I marked the Clover device screen "no tip" as I prefer to leave cash tips so now because I did both, I feel stolen from.

Overall a 2.5. I really dislike giving places less than a 3 star but we will never come back to this place and I'd least have to maybe want to come back or would recommend to someone else. And this place just didn't do it for us. It's your run of the mill Asian buffet. The food is average and not the worst but ehhhh, just okay. They had lots of Asian themed options with even a dim sum section. They had crab legs, shrimp, sushi and an okay dessert section. There are signs stating that if you take unauthorized food they will charge you $50.00 lb. Unfinished food will be $20.00 a lb. The customer service was good. The people were friendly and the place was definitely busy. Lots of people going back for food and eating plenty so they definitely are doing something right - it just wasn't our cup of tea overall. We felt many of the meats were overcooked and dry. Some of the food on the bland side.

Usually I avoid buffets because I don't feel I eat my money's worth AND more importantly, because food is made in large portions I feel the taste and or quality is compromised. That was not the case here at Mandarin's. My sister in law and her husband are chefs and foodies and they recommended this place. They have quite the selection and I definitely got my money's worth! I ate sushi, steak, veggies, soup, and more! The options are endless and everything I ate was so delicious! Service was good. It's pretty much self debt other than drinks and paying as soon as you walk in. Ambiance is very lively. It's a very big open space with tables and booths. Great experience overall and highly recommend!

The best Fish and Chips, worth the price of admission alone. The Kung Pao Chicken was excellent, especially with the Zucchini . Service was good, always kept my soda filled.

This place is terrible. The food quality is horrible, and the service is just as bad. Plates sat stacked on the table forever without being cleared. The "steak" was laughable--so thin it had zero flavor. I waited over 20 minutes for watermelon, only to see the person who was supposed to cut it just sitting there watching me wait. If I could give zero stars, I would. Stay away--don't waste your time or money.

Not the best. Large quantities of food but lower quality in food. Sushi tastes like it was made the day before. Rice seems hard.

All of the staff at Mox were amazing, from the bartenders to the employees helping with the board games. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, especially when it came to recommending a game based on what we liked. We were recommended Karmaka, and it ended up being such a fun and strategic two-player game! On top of that, the cocktails are fairly priced at around $14-$18, which honestly isn't too bad for Bellevue. Overall, such a fun experience and definitely a spot we'd come back to!

I felt warm and fuzzy but the customer service others have written about I did not experience. I first felt like a ghost walking from room to room seemingly invisible to human eye as no one said anything to me. This feeling was further felt when we decided to get a drink at the bar and the hostess / waitress pointedly addressed my friend without so much as a glance, body language completely focused on him, as though I was not there. We then went to the bar where the bartender greeted us with, "IDs out!" and then left. No "hi" no "here's a menu, I will be back over". Just "IDs out!" Look, I get that the Liquor Board is out about as other restaurants have explained overly apologetic for asking for an ID from someone who couldn't pass for under 35 if I tried (and these days I suspect I couldn't even meet that young of age) but barking at me as the first employee who said anything to me only guarantees I will not be back. The only person who managed to be pleasant was a young woman with short black hair blue bangs and blue and burgundy tips. Everyone else? About as warm as the Arctic waters. I can get drinks and cards elsewhere and grateful to know my experience is singular and not the norm.

They offer happy hour all day on Sundays, and since they don't take reservations, it's first come, first served. We arrived a little after 2 PM and there was plenty of open seating inside and out. This location is in the Spring District, which is super convenient if you're taking the light rail since it drops you off right there. It's located next to a park like plaza with a small grassy area and little water fountains. According to their website, kids are welcome in the restaurant and patio areas until 8 PM (but not in the bar area), which makes this a nice family friendly spot earlier in the day. Later on, the vibe seems like it would be perfect for catching a game, grabbing drinks with friends, and enjoying a more energetic brewery atmosphere. We started with two Moscow mules. Since that's one of our go to drinks and we've had quite a few, these weren't our absolute favorite here. They leaned more on the lime heavy side, and we weren't sure if the ginger beer was just a little flat. That being said, we still finished them! The Birria nachos were the highlight for me! They were so delicious, and the beer cheese sauce was SO good. I honestly just wished there was more of it because it added such a great flavor. My only small complaint is that I wish the toppings were spread out a little more evenly so every bite had a good mix, but overall they were still really tasty. The Mac Attack was also good, but it didn't completely wow us. If you're looking for an ultra thick, super creamy mac and cheese, this probably isn't that style. Still, it was a solid dish and enjoyable! Overall, we had a great first visit and would definitely come back to try more of the menu. Great location right in the heart of the Spring District with a fun atmosphere!
