They get my orders correct and are quick to do so, though, so I have no complaints there. Price: Reasonable. Pretty much the same as other restaurants with similar menus. I have eaten here several times and always leave happy. I grew up close to this restaurant so eating here feels very much like home. I am a big fan of their dynamite sushi roll and crispy beef. I ordered the Teriyaki Bento Box. I LOVE Bento boxes. I can't say this enough. I had all the intentions of ordering Chinese food until I saw bento box on the menu. Hello... it DIDN'T come in a bento box but on a square plate!! What the heck?? The shrimp came on skewers with thin slices of green pepper or carrot in between each shrimp, no white rice, no orange slice, no miso soup, no tempura. I must be spoiled. Every place I go to where I order the bento box, that's what I get. Since tempura didn't come with the meal, I ordered it separately. Here's the kicker... it doesn't come w/ tempura sauce!!! It came w/ a small dish of sweet and sour sauce. Again... what the heck???!!! This about pushed me over the edge. It came with LOTS of green beans, 3 shrimp and what I think was either paper thin slices of eggplant or red skinned potato. Not impressed. Their sushi was fresh but was just okay. Beside the California roll that came with my bento "box", we ordered a Spicy Tuna Roll. It was nothing to rave about. Would I eat here again, no. Order take out, yes. The restaurant service is terrible so I wouldn't waste my time eating there but I would order take out and eat in the comfort of my own home. I got beef Lo Mein and I think oodles of noodles has a better taste.. I love this place! It is the best restaurant for chinese food in the dumfries area. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to children as well. Their miso is something special, they dice up the tofu into little tiny bits so you can get some in each bite, which I really enjoy. I decided to get lunch for the crew back at my store and i was NOT disappointed. the spare ribs were AMAZING!!! not your typical "sauce fused to the rib" type Chinese ribs. it was as if someone was in the back grilling these. We are loyal customers and have come to this place for the past two years. Their food, particularly the sushi has been consistently among the best we've had in the VA or MD area. Worth the trip. When it came time for the bill, the waitress didn't even give us the actual check and just told us our totals because we were splitting it. Wellllll apparently they round everyone's bill up here to the highest meal eaten because she charged us the same even though mine certainly wasn't the same price as my friend's. I didn't say anything and we both tipped over 20% (mainly for the chef) and she was extremely rude again. She closed the bill case angrily and rushed us out as if we should've tipped more. For some reason, weeknight orders taste better than weekend orders. The spice usages are sometime inconsistent. Overall, it's one of the better Chinese food in Woodbridge. So my Son had the beef and broccoli, which turned out amazing. The steak was so soft it melted in your mouth, while the broccoli was nice a crisp and fresh. We had the sushi: volcano roll, spider roll, dynamite roll, house special tool, rainbow roll, and 4 pieces of matcii (YELLOWFIN SHSHIMI). Ok, moving on to the sushi review. This is by far the best Chinese I've had in Woodbridge since Mr. Hunan (closer to Occoquan on Rt 1) closed. We tried the Hunan Chicken, General Tsao's, and Orange chicken and they're all good. Didn't care for the General Tsao's beef though. Fried rice was good one time and kind of blah the other time. All-in-all I'm glad that there's some good Chinese back in Woodbridge. I haven't tried that anything that you wouldn't find on a typical American Chinese restaurant menu so I don't know how the Japanese/Thai dishes are. If anyone's tried the chicken teriyaki roll, let me know. They're the only place I've seen that does chicken/beef rolls which I've missed since I last visited Australia. read more
