Awesome AWESOME food!! I've been eating here for about 2 years now and I can honestly say I have no complaints! The only mishap that has ever happened at this place was that they forgot my sushi roll upon delivery. Everything was great! Shrimp tempura roll was fresh. Wonton soup had more than one wonton! Most restaurants the flavors are the same but here, even the steamed wonton versus the wonton in the soup had a slight flavor difference, both good. First time here. My wife and i cam here for sushi and they have a very limited sushi menu. For starters we ordered mi so soup which was not bad but definitely not the best. The tofu is shredded which was weird. For a appetizer we ordered shrimp and veggie tempura. This was very good. For the main course i ordered a California roll and a eel and avocado roll. The California roll was on point and excellent. The other roll had a sauce on it that was a bit strong but still very good. She ordered the chicken terriakki bento box. Which was also on point. How ever the salad was drowned in dressing. Still good though. I am very dissatisfied with the service of this place. They are rude and ignored us. The food is pretty decent here and the prices are fair. it's a small family run Chinese restaurant with sushi. We ordered the Dragon and Dancing Eel Roll. Both were fresh and delicious! We also got General Tsos Chicken and Beef Broccoli. The General Tsos had more breading on the chicken than actual chicken but was tasty. We love this place. We discovered for a traditional Jewish Christmas dinner and been back every chance we can. The serving size is enough for two teenagers and is always tasty. My family has been ordering from this restaurant for almost 2.5 yrs now. We have food delivered at least every 7-10 days and the food is always hot and fresh! Our family favorites are the beef and shrimp lomein, chicken w/broccoli, and shrimp tempura rolls. Delivery takes about 30-40 mins on avg. I have also picked up my orders a couple of times and the restaurant looked clean inside and spacious. I tried this place for the first time last night and everything was good except they misheard one of my orders. I wanted the general tso's shrimp but got chicken instead. The general tso's chicken was ok, nothing special. But the crispy shrimp with salt and pepper was delicious! I also got an order of California roll (sushi). It was mediocre. There was too much rice on the sushi. As for the delivery service, it was excellent! I was expecting them to take a while because I've seen the traffic (which is why I didn't go out!) and they were here within 30 mins. I've been going to Mandarin Court since day 1. It's the best Chinese place I've been to because their prices are reasonable and their food is very fresh. The owner treats my family like his own and gives a warm welcome every time we come- he always is the delivery guy when needed. We would go out of our way to come to Mandarin even if we didn't live in the area. They offer a small portion of ice cream to each customer for free after dinner. It's very clean. We've even used Mandarin to cater an event and the service and food was second to none. It used to be our secret gem in Dumfries but now it's also busy. This is easily the best "Chinese cuisine" for me all around. I call it this simply for lack of a better term. Ever since they opened in 2006 I want to say I have been a regular customer and receive smiles every time I come in. Not only do they have great dishes but their sushi is to die for. They have a fabulous lunch special in which you receive two full rolls of sushi and your choice of soup for around just 8 bucks! We ordered the General Tso's chicken, the Chicken Lo Mein, and a salmon roll. The GT chicken had a great flavor and was very fresh and moist. The lo mein was also very good. I ordered the sashimi app, sesame chicken, chicken lo neon and two egg rolls. Got home and was so disappointed with this meal. I will say the sashimi was delicious. The egg rolls.... I have no words to describe what they tasted like, I had to spit it out and I never spit out food as I think it's rude but I knew I couldn't swallow these. The sesame chicken sauce was so dark and I sweet, almost like an orange chicken with a ton of soy sauce and then about a quarter cup of sesame so top to make you believe it was sesame chicken. The lo neon was okay but the pork was really chewy that we had to take them out. I called them to them about the experience and she hung up on me. Sooooooo I went down there with the food, in which she inspected all of it, and then tells me they don't make their own egg rolls, they order them so if I didn't like them then there was nothing she could do about it.
