Egg rolls, Bao, bbq pork, shrimp, beef with broccoli, lo mein and combination fried rice for guests last night. It was awesome! Everything was good and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp were perfectly plump and well cooked. I will definitely order again and it was delivered promptly as well! I ordered food for delivery tonight. I received an order of egg rolls burnt beyond belief. It was unrecognizable as a an egg roll. They were charred on one side, but strategically turned over on the non burnt side. My husband called to let the restaurant know about this. The lady who answered the phone told him it was supposed to be that way and was extremely rude. He asked for our money back and she continued to argue with him. After a 10 minute conversation where she continued to defend her charred egg roll she finally agreed to credit our card. She did say she would have to send someone to pick up the burnt egg rolls and verify that they were inedible. When he arrived he put insult to injury and asked why one of the egg rolls were bitten into which completely upset my husband. Unbelievable! I can understand that mistakes happen, but to argue with customers and not take responsibility for their mistake is out of line and unprofessional. Every time we're in the area we order a lot of items to-go. Last week they forgot to bag an item. We didn't notice but got a call 20 minutes after we drove away. The lady was very apologetic and offered to deliver it for free. They had our previous address on file but we were on our 50-minute drive home. My delivery came 45 minutes sooner than expected. Everything was packed very well and securely. In true chinese food style each container was packed to the max! The miso soup was SO flavorful and the texture of the cubes was devine! The chow mein wasn't the same as my old place, less greasy and thicker noodle, but the flavor was so good. Eggs rolls and those crab fried wontons we're perfect! Lastly the beef broccoli was SO tender and tasted soo good. Very amazing quality food very well put together... :) The reason i am giving them 2 stars as their driver was giving me the "bums rush" demanding a tip. I told him that I tipped on my credit card and he said its not enough please give me more. ... Considering I spent $39.00 with these people and paid a delivery charge I dont see that drivers problem.. For their food I highly suggest giving these people a try.. You wont be disappointed. I just wanted to eat some really good Chinese food night before my chemo after which I'll be too sick to eat again for a week. Fail! I've been trying to get to this place for over a week. Per the reviews, it seemed to be a decent place and I really wanted to check it out. I arrived. Grabbed a take out menu and sat down to mull over my dinner choices. Walked to the counter for clarification on a few items but before I could speak I was promptly told my order would take 20 mins. "ok, no problem i say" and the employee walks away. I wait for a few because the employee seemed busy placing orders in bags and such of the phone orders, I take they are phone orders any ways because I'm the only one in the restaurant...so I wait . My demeanor at this point is chill. I'm on 8 mgs of dexamethasone so I probably wont sleep until tomorrow anyway so I really do have all time in the world to wait and I'm not sweating any of it in the least bit. When the employee, thin, asian girl with glasses and long pony tail, finally comes back I tried asking questions regarding the menu items, such as: the names of the foods featured on the picture as there is no coinciding number to the description. Example: what i thought was sweet and pungent chicken from the picture was actually something called General Tao's something or another , what looked like a sweet and sour beef dish was actually Kung Pao Beef, etc. I'm not asking for much and wasn't trying to go over the entire menu. I just wanted clarification on 3 items that looked really tasty yet I had no clue what they were exactly. Long story short ( lol) , the employee kept walking away from me doing this thing then that and I could not get a second of her time. It wasn't until she stopped what she was doing to come answer the phone, right beside me, to take a phone order. I had half a mind to sit back down and call them from my cell just to get some decent customer service. After she was done I asked when would be a good time to ask questions regarding the menu items that I have. The employees response was a very curt "come back in 20mins because I really don't have time to go over it now". Needless to say I'm both flabbergasted and so over this place after hearing this. I chucked the deuces and went down the street to a panda express equivalent type of place that turned out to be so so. Shame on you , Mandarin House for devaluing me as a customer. I will say this, I would much rather have that panda express equivalent type of place again over this place. Sad, it would've taken less than a minute of that employees time to provide me with acceptable customer service. Perhaps they would've gained a frequent, repeat , longtime customer. I was really craving some good Chinese food and checked out yelp to find a place, boy was I wrong for trusting yelp. I'm giving 2 stars Bc they deserved an extra star for making the food fresh to order. I'm the type to not base a yelp review over mediocre service Bc I know most people just go on yelp to complain and it doesn't give justice to the place of business. I ordered the combination lo mein and the Mongolian beef (to go). I asked for some containers to get soy sauce and some Siracha and the lady handed me 2 little containers. I ordered food for 2 people so I asked for 2 more and she said "I can't give you more" REALLY? You can't or you won't? She didn't even give me the option to pay for them!!! I get home and even though I wasn't pleased with the service, I was still excited to try out the food. Well... The food was tasteless! I had to force myself to eat it and usually I'm the type that gets excited when I have leftovers but this time, I ended up throwing half of my food away. It was not good at all. I had a craving for Chinese last night, but didn't want to get in the car to find some. Luckily I found Mandarin House online. We ordered 3 dishes...Pork Mu shu, egg Foo yung, and orange chicken. By the time they add the sides of rice or noodles we had enough food for 6! Since there were only 2 of us we have leftovers for tonight and tomorrow....good thing the food was excellent or it would go in the trash. All 3 dishes and sides were delicious. I usually expect take out to be a little compromised from dining in, but our food was delivered in less than 30 minutes and everything arrived hot and fresh. Delicious orange beef and satay chicken. Portions are large, yet very fresh and tasty! Lo Mein was 95% noodles (as it should be IMO) with a few veggies and lots of big chunks of BBQ pork in it. Perfect. Love that you can pay less for a Medium size vs. a Large if you don't need food for 2 days (that's what you get with a large). I like having that option. $2 delivery fee and $15 minimum aren't bad at all. Most places are at least $20 min. and a $3+ delivery fee. Best Chinese food I've found in the area by far. read more

And I've tried to push its limits with them and ordered late at night and they specifically put on the wait time 30-80 min.
