My mom wanted crab with bean sauce but they did not have it. You have to order it in advance a few days before. Service was cool and the atmosphere was ok. They need to update furniture and rugs. It's outdated. Parking is easy in the lot adjacent to the restaurants. The food was very flavorful and the quality of what we ordered had nice big quantities. Prices are affordable for all the food you get.

Love this almond cookie that comes with my lunch special! I got the shrimp with white wine sauce. My favorite!

This place is amazing the food super authentic and delicious , the owners were there super nice and went above and beyond . Had great recommendations and the ambiance was super chill . This isn't the fanciest place around but it's reliable , large portions and good. We had the beef and broccoli which had large chunks of beef. We also ordered beef fried rice and egg drop soup.. Food was good all around- no complaints with anything we tried. Service was extremely fast. Once we had our orders in , food came out very quickly. The quality of everything was pretty solid, and serving sizes were large. The prices here are very reasonable .

I've been coming here for years. Food has always been good and comforting. The food is exactly what I expect to eat and enjoy. I know all the waiters by name and really love the service and the "welcome back." Juan and David always give excellent service. Mandarin King has been around for 43 years. The decor and restaurant is a little weathered but decent. It's not a Michelin Star ambiance but a comforting casual dining experience. The owners are 3 siblings. Jerry, Jimmy and Jenny are great. Yah, sometimes you'll hear them arguing but what family doesn't. I think it adds to the ambiance.

Great for delivery! I've driven by this place on numerous occasions, but never stopped in because of its outside appearance. It looks closed for business. I finally stopped by last week as I was planning a Lunar NY gathering and wanted to order Chinese food. I was surprised to find many people dining inside. After looking at the menu and reading Yelp reviews, I decided to order from this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Ordering was easy (I called in a day in advance but you could order online). Delivery was on time. The driver was polite. The food was warm and nicely packaged. The items were generous in portion and tasty. Pricing was reasonable. I ordered the following items: Beef Chow mein Kung pow chicken Tangerine chicken Sautéed string beans with white garlic sauce Baby bok choy w mushrooms Bean curd with veggies (no meat) Chicken fried rice White rice, Brown rice The best items were the vegetarian dishes, the beef chow mein, and the chicken fried rice. Took me several years to try their food, but better late than never. I will order from here again.

My favorite Chinese food restaurant now that Golden Sky has closed down. I love their wor wonton soup, Kung Pao chicken, honey walnut shrimp, chicken fried rice and combo chow mein. And of course the complimentary jasmine/black tea is a plus!

Does MK have any low sodium dishes?

Yes, I've had many of their dishes with garlic sauce, light salt or even steamed! Not everything is soy sauce based. Just let the server know! Hope you give it a shot and enjoy!

I picked where to sit so I chose to sit inside; they have a small section upfront for outdoor seating. Service was pleasant for me, but only two of them on the floor however, they worked together to get orders out as quick as they could. Props to both of them! Just in time for their Tuesday happy hour, I decided to get two Baja fish tacos and for the appetizer the tuna bites. I also ordered a Pacifico michelada. My food came out rather quickly and I started to indulge in the tuna bites first. Fresh tuna sitting on three individual won ton like tostadas. Drizzled with their sauces, fresh avocado slice and cilantro. The fish tacos included: fresh diced tomatoes, cilantro, crema and cheese. The fish tacos were smaller since they are part of their happy hour but they were still delicious. Pacifico Michelada mix 5/5! Served on a cold mug and that made my day! I will be back soon to check out the rest of their menu. Parking lot is on the smaller side but street parking is also available.

Because of that great experience, we decided to go back after a long time, this time on a Sunday. When we walked in, we immediately noticed a big difference . There were a lot of empty tables. We ordered shrimp cocktails (cócteles de camarón) and sat down. Unfortunately, this time the food was not good at all. The juice in the shrimp cocktail was extremely salty,so salty that I couldn't eat it. I went back to the counter and explained the issue. The girl helping us was very nice and explained that they cure the shrimp with salt since it's not cooked. She offered to remake it, which they did, and I appreciated the effort. However, even the remake just didn't taste good to me. I like my seafood to taste fresh, with a natural seafood flavor not overly salty or loaded with condiments. This experience made me wonder if something has changed at the restaurant, especially since it was so empty compared to our first visit. The staff was friendly and did try to make it right, which I appreciate, but overall this visit was disappointing. Since it's also out of our way and we only stopped because we happened to be in the area, I don't think we'll be coming back. It's unfortunate because our first experience was so much better. The ambiance was pleasant. They had a couple of TVs playing football, music in the background, and the place was clean but the food just didn't live up to our previous experience.

That side is named Kusina Ni Kuya and has a vast catering menu. I came here for a carry out from the Cajun side and picked as I did before, the half pound shrimp. The only difference is this time, I opted for the peeled version. This was prepared in the house Kuya sauce, medium spicy, with an extra of boiled okra. The dish did not disappoint and was consistent in texture and flavor, and a glorious mixture of spices as before. This entrée has a lot of oil added to it, but that is what brings out this burst of taste and satisfaction. Everything was soaked with the thick sauce. This time what I did at home was, I boiled a few golden premium small potatoes with skin, sliced them into quarters and added it to the mix. Once it soaked up the gravy of the shrimp dish, the potatoes ascended to a totally different level. So how does the peeled version compare to the whole shrimp version? I would say that the whole shrimp selection is the way to go. The meat is not overcooked and you get the flavor off the shrimp shells too, that kicks it up more than a notch. In addition, the fact that you have to use your fingers to get to the shrimp meat (though messy), heightens the pleasure of the dining experience.

Despite it being a busy spot, we were seated right away, which is a huge plus when you have little ones in tow! The Drinks & Starters We started with the Horchata and the Pineapple Water (Agua de Piña). Both were refreshing, authentic, and clearly made with care. If you like traditional Mexican drinks, these are a must-try. The Food Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and felt incredibly fresh. A standout for us was the homemade corn tortillas--you can really taste the difference! Our table shared: * Mojarra & Pescado al Mojo de Ajo: Perfectly cooked and seasoned. * Lobster Plate: Succulent and generous. * Surf & Turf Tacos: These were a highlight! Loaded with carne asada and creamy guacamole, then topped with perfectly grilled shrimp. Each plate comes with rice, beans, and a side salad, but they are super flexible--we were able to substitute fries for the rice and beans on some plates, which is great for picky eaters or just a change of pace. Service & Atmosphere The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center, so parking was easy to find, which takes the stress out of the arrival. Even though the dining room was buzzing and busy, our waitress was incredibly nice and the entire staff was well-attended to our needs. Bottom line: If you're looking for delicious, flavorful seafood in a family-friendly environment, Marisco Corona is the place to go. We will definitely be back!
