Just wanted to share this experience. In January we brought my granddaughters standard poodle in to have her ear and nails done. The girl did tell us she clipped 3 of her nails to short. So when we got home she was let out to use bathroom, when she came back in she was bleeding all over the floor and when we called them they told us to use flour... pet stores were closed to go buy steptic. But when flour gets wet it comes off... so we had to deal with this for a few days because she had cut her nails pretty bad. Her ears hadn't even been cleaned. They told us they would give us a discount for a full cut because of what happened. Long story short, the cut looked like a joke and her ears were still dirty! The receptionist was nice but it doesn't excuse what happened! Chalk it up to experience and I'm glad her dog is ok. read more

I have been looking for a groomers that only took 2 or 2.5 hours for my fur boy. At other places they seem to kennel him and work on other dogs on and off so it takes so long. At Mandy's they took him in and worked on him until done. The ladies were casual and relaxed and understood how I wanted him groomed. He looks super handsome and smells wonderful! read more

I was waiting for my dog and they didn't know I was out there and someone in the back was yelling at the dog they were grooming calling them vulgar names. Very mean. I drive way across town to have these guys groom my dogs! They are so kind and caring! I have one neurotic dog who hates loud noises and they went over and above to keep her from being afraid. They dried her gently instead of with the dryers and they were cheerful about her being difficult. 8 highly recommend them. read more

WORST, MOST UNRELIABLE PET SITTER EVER. Totally and utterly left my family and precious dogs in a lurch. Almost missed our vacation. Confirmed our pet-sitting appt. on a Friday, complete NO SHOW on Mon. We stayed in parking lot for 1 1/2 hrs. waiting for someone. Not one person showed up. No phone number to contact anyone. Left us to wonder about the poor animals in there and whether they were fed and/walked at all that morning. DO NOT TRUST YOUR ANIMALS WITH SUCH AN IRRESPONSIBLE PERSON, NOR HER BUSINESS. read more

I had been taking my dog here regularly for the last 8 months. The ladies were always great before however, this last time I took my dog in was horrible. I genuinely think it depends on which groomer you schedule. I book the medium/large bath. My dog is a shorthair so he doesn't need any actual haircut or sheering. Originally the bath ran about $40-50 and has since gone up to over $60 (my dogs size has not changed, he's just over 50 lbs). Sometimes I pick my dog up with a bandana on looking 100% and other times it seems so half assed. This last time when I went to pick him up the lady at the front was super rude. She told me how my dog had "crapped all over the kennel" and that luckily he did it before his bath and not afterwards. Not sure why she felt the need to mention that at all. My dog is potty trained but he's still a puppy so while accidents are rare, they still happen. Then I also had to wonder if that's why they charged me more. The bath took 3 hours before we got the call to pick him up. Once we got my dog home, about an hour later we noticed blood all over the kitchen tile. We saw that they had cut one of his nails way too short and had most likely used quick stop to halt the bleeding but it wore off once we got him home. I understand this can be a common thing. I cut/grind his nails myself and have had a couple incidents where I accidentally go too short because he's chocolate brown and it's hard to tell where the blood supply is. I guess I would have just appreciated a heads up so that I could have prepared for the bloody incident that followed. Anyways, I won't be returning. I've heard good things about Annador's in Plain City so we'll be trying that. read more

Fantastic service! My border collie is hyper and WILL NOT let me get anywhere near his nails with a clipper. I tried everything and was so stressed out I decided to let a professional handle it. After reading some good reviews I decided to make an appointment and bring in my Goldendoodle. And I am SO disappointed we did. This has been by far the worst experience I've ever had. The owner is the most disrespectful, unprofessional person I have ever came in contact with. When I came to pick him up I had noticed his eye was watering, but just thought it may be from the shampoo. As soon as I got him home I took a better look at his eye and it was starting to swell shut and super red, I noticed two cuts on the outside of his eye and one on the inside. I called IMMEDIATELY once I realized how serious it was. The groomer tried to tell me it was just irritated or he "scratched it" from shampoo so I sent over pictures of the cuts and showing it was almost swollen shut just within the 30 minutes I had picked him up, and they said keep an eye on it and put a rag on it. As the day went on it was only getting worse and worse and he was starting to be lethargic and not himself. I called the vet and they said bring him in immediately after looking at the pictures of him. At this point all the vet offices were closed so we had to bring him to the ER. After spending the whole night there and them doing multiple tests and putting dye in his eye. The vet called and said he had a corneal abrasions and has been poked in the eye by something (scissors). I tried getting in contact with the owner by calling and emailing and never got a call back, so I spoke with the another lady who said it would be taken care of. Two days had passed and still no word from the owner expressing any kind of concern for my dog. I finally got her daughters number who works there and let her know what was going on and she told me the owner would either pay from the grooming which was $94, or the vet bill but not both. She also said she wouldn't pay the whole vet bill just part of it because "nursing care" is not something she should be paying for. When I asked to meet with the owner she was very rude, unprofessional, and didn't seem to give one crap that our dog was seriously injured and might lose one of his eyes. She told us we shouldn't of taken him to the ER and just use the vet she went to as it would've been "cheaper", that this happens all the time, and the vet doesn't know what he is talking about? I have pictures, and documentation from the hospital and she was trying to make it seem like this isn't a big deal. All we wanted her to do was the right thing. I didn't feel it was fair to pay for a grooming appointment where my dog was seriously injured, and for the vet bill. She would not comply and pay for both. She paid for the half of the vet bill. I am so disgusted with how this was handled by her, and I would not ever recommend anyone going here. This isn't something that should "happen all the time" to dogs especially when my dog has never had an issue at a groomers before and is very calm. If she thinks what happened to my dog is normal and happens often that should be a huge sign to never being your pets here. We are now dealing with a dog who is severely traumatized, a damaged eye, and vet bills we never intended on having. And Mandys pet chalet will not take any accountability for what they have done. Take my dog there twice a year for a full shave down. She just loves it in summer. Also, I'm not military but Mandy's offers a military discount which I think is wonderful. Our military deserves perks! I am happy to support a company that does this. read more
