This is my favorite dessert place in flushing. Every time I come here with my boyfriend, we stop by and grab some new dessert.

Food is awesome, but service is so disappointing (the skinny short young girl). I bought special mango sago, it was good, and I come back at same day, would like to get same thing, and waitress just with super cold face let me pay, I ask how much it is, he rolled her eyes, and use her chin show me , it is all writing on your receipt, that was not acceptable for me to pay , I am here for joy, and pay for anger, I really hope I would not see her next time when I come here, otherwise I am afraid I am gonna come all the way here paying for inspected. read more

If I could give 0 star I would. Me and my family came here on a Thanksgiving Day just for the dessert and we waited 30 mins - our order never cane and no one ever check on us. We asked the waitress and they told us they forgot our order. They didnt even feel sorry for it, at the end we waited for 45 minutes to get our dessert. Service needs to improve. The waiters didn't pay attention to my parties order when taking it. I was with a party of 9 and we each ordered our own thing. My friend ordered a waffle and the waitress said it'll take 5-10 minutes to make. My mom ordered a mango platter and I had ordered one for myself. I didn't think the waitress paid attention to my order so I asked her to repeat back my order and make sure that two mango platters were ordered. She didn't mention any wait time for the mango platter. 20-25 minutes past and all of our friends orders had come out already. I called over a waiter to check on our order since we weren't told it would take awhile to come out, like the waffles that were ordered. Eventually one mango platter came out. I asked where the second one was and she said that there was only one mango platter left. ?????? Why wasn't I told there was only one mango platter left? It's hard to believe that since it was only 7pm and this place is supposed to be stocked with mangos, hence the name mango mango? We went to Mango Mango with friends visiting from out of state. Saw some mixed reviews but still gave it a try. The ice cream was "okay" but not what i expected it to be. Wait time was more than average. But i wouldn't have counted that if the taste was good. But this is why i'm writing this awful review... As we exited the store after paying the bill and everything. The waitress came running behind us asking why we didn't leave any TIPS!!!!! Yes we read that right. She forcefully demand why we didn't leave any tips. So i answered her question. Saying we did not enjoy the exact experience at all. She still wouldn't let go. She kept on walking and asking for the extra money behind us. I don't know what people are talking about when they rated this place as not expensive. I ordered a mango cup for around $6 something. The portion size was the smallest I've ever seen in flushing. Also, it is a requirement to tip the server even though they did nothing. Being a dessert place specialized in mango, their mango cup sucks. It was flavorless and sour. Definitely not worth the price. The reason why i'm giving it a 2 stars is literally because they have a cute interior. It is a cute place for date plainly cause the interior is cute and romantic. If you're obsessed with mangoes then this is the place to be. Their dessert is amazing!!! I literally ended up ordering two different desserts because it was that good. The mango ice cream is light, kinda reminds me of a morph between ice cream and frozen yogurt. I also love the jelly toppings and fruits. Love the decor and the atmosphere of the place! Totally my new favorite dessert spot! I would've given them a 5 if their service was friendly, but the waiters/waitresses kinda ignore you the whole time. I didn't really mind because I had a lot of time to eat and talk without being interrupted but they can improve on being a little more personable. I only went to mango mango once in Chinatown a few years ago and know they've opened two in flushing. I got the mango Mille crepe cake.... it tasted weird (buttercream or whatever the filling was), I liked that there was mangoes on top of the crepe cake, but that filling gave a weird after taste after each bite. Also, there was a small pieces of whatever it was in my water??? And when the bill came I paid and they automatically add the tip in themselves???? And then they wanted more too (because they gave me back $10 but in 5 singles.......) this place is weird for wanting a tip but I understand that this has nicer seating than the one in New York food court that's just a few blocks up... but you can't demand to give tip.. there was barely any service... my cup of water was empty and they didn't come until like 30 minutes later. The Chinatown location and the one in the food court don't demand tips. The bathroom was dirty also and had no toilet paper. After going to dinner not too far away, my friends and I wanted some dessert. We happened upon this place and I was so excited because it looked so cute and good. When we got in there was about a ten minute wait and we requested the booth to sit in. Once we sat down we had to wait 20 minutes for anyone to come to take out order. Once they took our order it took another 20 minutes to bring out tea and one waffle and ice cream. Which was not good at all. Then it took another 20 minutes to get our check. Other people were serviced before us when they had come in after us. It was terrible. When I looked around afterward I realized we hadn't even gotten any water for the table. I had this for take out. So maybe the experience is better as a sit down dessert goer. I had the Mango Crepe cake and the Durian Pancake. I somehow expected more "mango" flavor from the crepe cake. There was plenty of mango pieces scattered throughout the outside of the cake, some pieces being sweet and some sour, which is expected because not all mango's will be sweet especially during this season, It just lacked the overall mango flavor through out the rest of the cake as promised. Maybe if they spread the mango syrup on the layers instead of the fresh cream? I don't know. It is named "Mango Mango" so I expected more " mango". That being said I was pleasantly surprised with the Durian Pancake, Where the Mango Crepe cake left a lot to be desired, the Durian pancake was just wonderfully Durian.. I love Mango Mango and have been going to the one in Chinatown for since their opening. But the Flushing Branch has worst customer service. Since the Chinatown one is ran by young adults I let it slide but for the Flushing one I couldn't. Me and my friends ordered three desserts and they came out perfectly. Only until after I finished it I saw something I shouldn't have seen and while I contemplate whether I should tell the employees, I hoping I would get some sort of discount or promotion. I found a fly in the bowl and when I showed it to one of the female employees all she said was, "What do you want me to do about it?" I wasn't courageous to say something about discount or promotion because I already finished the dessert. I also work in customer service at a bakery and whenever there's a problem with the production we were able to have it replace with no charge. So this really offended me. I don't think I will ever come back here. Although another female employee was nice to give us the WiFi password after looking at the letter size paper 50 ft away. read more

Went here with two friends the other day. First ones there and it was almost 2 yet no one was there. I didn't know a place like this existed. The interior is so beautiful; it felt so nice walking in. We each ordered something (I ordered a triple ice delight). I can't describe how beautiful and tasty the ice cream was. Now let me remind you, we had a big group, with no desire to keep standing while there was a perfect seating arrangment for both parties. My friend started arguing with the waitress about how unfair it was, since we were here first. After 10 minutes of stupid arguing with the absolute dense waitress, we were finally seated. Separated, but still seated. By this time we didn't even have the apetite to eat. Even worse, the waitress still justified her actions by saying the two ladies were her friends. What complete bullshit. Not only that but the two very unfairly priveleged ladies kept making fun of us in mandarin, thinking we didn't understand. Now some may disagree with me saying that it was all very petty, but for us, it was the ultimate insult that we were treated poorer than some other customers because we were not friends with the waitress.
