Had the croissant sandwich. Egg was freshly cooked, it was real too. Way better than a fast food egg. Coffee was good too. Had their vanilla nut blend and it was better than Dunkin or Starbucks. May have to wait longer than normal because they cook it fresh. At busy hours it may be difficult to find seating if you want to eat inside. read more

I thought that I would treat myself to a Sunday morning bacon, egg, and cheese this morning... It was hardly a treat. I take my order to-go to have back in bed. Upon returning to my home I opened the box to find the wrong order. I then drove back to the shop to get the correct bagel. Once I wait in line again, the employee behind the counter sees me then knowingly giggles at the mistake. I would expect an apology not laughter. They then hand me the bagel that had made for me 20 minutes earlier. Since it had been just sitting there while I drove home and back, by the time I brought the correct sandwich home it was just barely warm. I am doubtful the bagel was toasted, as I requested, since it was so chewy (and not in the good way). It was completely flavorless as was the the flaccid excuse for bacon. I've had better Dunkin' Donuts breakfast sandwiches, I'll stick to those when away from NYC. If you dream of those New York bodega sandwiches like I do, keep dreaming, because you'll only be disappointed here. It is a shame that this is the only bagel place in Williamsburg. read more

Food was okay ... The staff was extremely unfriendly and looked mad to be at work. People in customer service jobs should be more friendly.

First off, the young girl taking our order at 9am was hard to understand. And who offers potato salad or coleslaw with a bagel sandwich for breakfast? It wasn't that way on the menu. They only put cream cheese on one side of the bagel, so we had to request more. The vanilla latte was absolutely horrendous. The latte had a burnt flavor. There are other breakfast options nearby and I would highly suggest trying them before stopping here. read more

I really love this place! The bagels and spreads are delicious! Everytime I'm in Williamsburg, I have to go here! Very tasty. Also, as a side note, the last time I was there, I saw a few stray cats - I was concerned for them as it was July and I was worried they were starving or thirsty. I talked to the staff inside and they told me they were "adopted strays"... they pitch in to feed the stray kitties. I LOVE anyone thats willing to help animals! read more

What a great place for breakfast sandwich and coffee. The latte's were great. Had a sausage, egg and cheese on everything bagel. Outstanding! Made fresh no microwave. Staff was very friendly. Will be back again next time in Williamsburg. read more

Perhaps I came here for the wrong reason....a latte. Being a typical tourist I was just looking for some place close for my morning caffeine assuming they had something reasonable since they cater to a morning crowd. It was one of the worst I've had. It didn't help that the cook and order taker were having a disagreement and made no effort for a minute (standing in line for 60 secs extra seems like forever) to help the customers. read more

I am visiting Williamsburg and thought we'd try Manhattan Bagel. Place was clean, service was good and prompt - but to call these Manhattan bagels is a REAL stretch. That said I've had worse. But as a native New Yorker it's obvious these guys have never been to NYC. read more

Pre-cooked "fresh" eggs from a stainless steel bin and only because "they take so long to cook" - according to the gentleman behind the register. This is an Asian run bagel chain restaurant and I noticed they cut some corners to serve our food. It was a long line off season but moved fast. One of the best places in Williamsburg for a quick breakfast. They excel in giving you your bagel, your way! For me that is a sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, toasted, with jalapeño salsa cream cheese. It is sinfully wonderful. The rest of my family gets it their way and it is always right. They have good ingredients and a good variety. The bagels aren't as good as their namesake, but they are very good for a tiny southern tourist town. You won't be disappointed if you make a stop. read more

Love bagels and this is one of the best places in town. Panera and Dunkin Donuts sell bagels, but they aren't true NY bagels. They took my name, had the bagels ready within 10 minutes. Great coffee. It's not the easiest place to spot. It's in a white building and has a sign out front, but if you are from out of town like me, you could easily drive past it. The only reason, I am not giving them a 5 is because it seemed like they were taking care of internal business instead of making my bagels as quickly as possible. Amazing venue! My husband and I went for brunch; I got the BEC on a plain bagel and he got the BES on a plain bagel. We both got coffees and muffins - banana nut and pumpkins spice. UHH-MAZING. Oh! And let me not forget their fresh lemonade, made daily. Yum! read more

This was my first time back in Williamsburg for years, and I was so disappointed to find out that Big Apple Bagel went out of business. We tried this place hoping to find an acceptable substitute. I will admit that I am very pleased with this place! Great variety of bagel and cream cheese flavors. Everything we got was very tasty. This place hit the spot for a midday meal. The bagels were good, especially the one we got with Atlantic Lox & Cream Cheese. There seemed to be a great deal of variety here, though choices for a vegetarian on the sandwich side was lacking. Typical bagel morning place. They have a large selection to order from. I made a mistake by going in 5 min before closing once. I did not realize they close at 3pm. They had already put away half the bagels but they had no problem serving me and said if I wanted something I did not see in the case they could still grab it. They even still made an expresso drink after I said no since they are closing in a few min. read more

Absolutely delicious. They have a decent menu for breakfast sandwiches and assorted bagel types. This is a place that subscribes to the simple menu variations done extremely well philosophy. Coffee was tasty and up to par with what you can get anywhere else. They double brew their iced coffee and serve it separately so it doesn't get watered down over ice. We went here due to reviews here the first day we were there and it was so good we went back the next day. We'll be coming to MBC every time we come to Williamsburg. read more

I'm was never a bagel eater but that recently changed when I received a flyer in the mail for this place. I decided to go try the limited time sweet potato bagel. Oh my goodness this has become my new favorite breakfast spot. The bagels are fresh and delicious. The meat, egg and cheese breakfast bagel is just what I need to start my early mornings. They are filling and scrumptious. Tevin, the cashier, is always friendly and enthusiastic when he takes orders. I live in Williamsburg but work in Newport News. This is not on the route to work but I make the trip because they are so worth it. Service is fast and everything is reasonably priced so that's just another plus. You won't be disappointed eating here!!!! read more
