Yikes! Worst passport picture ever. They are SO not set up to do this, they really shouldn't even offer the service. The woman took me outside with a white board which she instructed me to hold up with my back and took the picture. It was completely blown out. I looked like a ghost. I mentioned it. She shrugged, "They all look like that!" Seriously. read more

Steve and his staff are the best. I used to go here all the time when I was an active eBay seller. Steve and his employees always treated me with very prompt service, excellent packing, and he even gave me discounts when I was an active and regular eBay seller. Steve is very friendly and will take his time to answer any question that you may have, and this same care is taken in whatever work he or his employees do. Excellent business! The only complaint I have is the strange parking situation in the new building- you have to enter on the left side of the building and go around and the parking spaces are tight. Ive used them for numerous things including printing posters, shipping beat up packages, and shredding. I think they also do other things like take photos, and notarize, etc... Its pretty much a mom/pop place that provides a variety of office/mailing services. They are friendly and have a good sense of humor. They're honest about what other places offer (gave me an alternative for shredding), and also very helpful in doing all the little things to make sure a package is secure (i.e.,not like UPS Stores who generally seem like they're in a rush). read more

My wife and I had a bunch of stuff to take care of before moving. We came in to send a fax and mail a letter. A xerox copy was free and they gave us an envelop. We also had a box to ship back to Zappos in the car. They waited patiently while I spent 900 years on the phone retrieving the return label and they let me use their computer to print it out. I'm sure we were a pain in the ass, but they were incredibly helpful and hospitable and lovely. read more

So glad I found this place! I needed to get passport photos done for an Australian passport application. Since Australia has different specifications to USA passport photos it is recommended to go to someone who has experience in this as photos not to specificatios is the number 1 reason why applications are denied. A Google search only found places right in LA not the South Bay. Thankfully I saw another yelp reviewer's review about a Canadian passport application so gave them a call. Super helpful on the phone and it person - they have a great machine they put the photo card in after your picture is taken to make sure it fits your country's passport specifications and they double checked all measurements for me with a ruler once printed just to be sure. i've been using the services of steve and doris for the last few years, and in my experience they run a great business and will bend over backwards to help you get a package to someone, on time, no matter what. example. i had to send a check to florida and had everything but the address. they held on to it for hours until i could get home and call them with the correct street and number. who else would do that? in another situation, i need to send a fragile item across the country in a rush but did not want to spend a lot of money doing so. they were patient and helped me find the best route and carrier. i send them forms to print and fax, and mail on my behalf. in short, nothing is impossible for them. This is not just another postal service, it's a friendly business run by the owners who have pride in doing a good job and helping people with all their personal and business needs. I've used all their services, including in home and office notary. Everything is efficient, on time and friendly, just like that reported in all the other posts on Yelp (except, of course, there is always someone in the crowd who sees white as black). Ok, doing a good job is one thing, but how Steve helped me is a way beyond any reasonable expectation. I sent our federal tax return by certified USPS delivery this year as usual and thank God I went to Steve's place and not the post office directly. Three months later the IRS claimed I hadn't filed a return. I misplaced the certified mail receipt. I called Steve and explained the situation. While I was on the phone, he found the original USPS certified mail card he used, scanned it, and emailed it to me! And he checked the USPS website and gave me the date, time and location of the delivery! It was off to my accountant and the IRS as proof of delivery. I don't even want to think about how much trouble that got me and my wife out of with the IRS! How about the trouble I would have been in with my wife! Yikes! Try getting that kind of service at the U.S. Post Office or any other private postal service! Like they say where I was born in da Bronx, faaageeetttabbooouudit! I have been coming here for 5 years and have always been very happy with my service until today. An older woman with a very sour disposition "helped" me. I had 2 items to mail - both returns. I did not have mailing envelopes. The first one had a pre-paid label. She affixed this to an envelope, which I knew I would pay for, placed my items on the envelope, and sealed it. The second one had a pre-printed label. She placed my items in another envelope, sealed it, and proceeded to weigh and figure out the cost. Once I realized the cost of shipping, I told her I changed my mind and would rather exchange to the store for credit. She got upset and proceeded to tape the pre-printed label with packaging tape to the sealed envelope. Then told me so would need to pay for the envelope. At this point, I was very upset at her attitude. While I would gladly have paid for the envelope had I used it, I asked her why she sealed it and then proceeded to use packaging tape to affix a label to it AFTER I already told her I would not be mailing it. She should not even have sealed it to begin with, but even if she had left it sealed WITHOUT then packaging taping a label, I would still have paid for the envelope since so could re-use it. I told her I would not pay for an envelope which she had rendered unusable. She then yelled at me and told me she would not mail my first package. Which had a pre-paid label and I would have paid for the envelope. She then proceeded to cut open both packages, cut off the labels, and throw everything at me. I have never been treated this way at a place of service. She should be fired for her attitude and extremely poor customer service. There was a much better way to handle the whole situation which would have resulted in me paying for both envelopes. Instead, I will NEVER come here again, and warn any customers about bad attitude and bad customer service from the older woman. The new owner needs better management. read more
