It is located close by the main cafeteria but it has a separate entrance and different menu . I have the mango mousse cake and mango flavor ice tea today . The cake tastes delicious. Moist and a big pieces of mango on top . They have a lot of other pastry and sandwiches. I would like to try a Turkey Parisian sandwich next time. Soup of the day is Tomato basil . It looks great as well . There are small area to sit indoor with AC . A lot of outdoor seating . Restroom is near by inside the main building. Lots of parking because this is a hospital and medical facility. They are famous for their Greek and Parisian bread and pastries . I was in need of a hot snack and a caffeine pick me up while waiting for a patient that was in the ER waiting room. Cafe Parisien is located right next to the hospital cafeteria, around the corner and toward the back of the building. Inside wasn't that big, but there are plenty of tables outside. Most of their ready to eat options here were pastries, which I wasn't feeling, so I opted to get one of the savory options they had - a bacon and cheese quiche. An individual pie, they offer to heat it up for you so you can enjoy right away. The quiche was pretty good and paired really nicely with my iced americano. While it didn't blow me away, it was nice to have an option to go to outside of your standard hospital cafeteria food. read more

Thank goodness for this cafe as an alternative to the hospital cafeteria. Food is always fresh. Really love the pastries and desserts. Pastries are nicely sized for the price. Deserts are on the pricy side but a nice indulgence. Nice variety of coffees. My default lunch is the margarita sandwich. Always toasted. I wish they had some other vegetarian sandwich option but this one hits the spot. This place is on the pricey side. But I'll gladly pay the premium for better food than what you'll find in the cafeteria. Small amount of seating inside but I've never had a hard time getting a seat. There's also outdoor seating. Service is always pleasant. Order at the register and they'll call your number when your order is up. Parking is available at the Stanford garage. I wouldn't say I'd drive here just for the food but it's a great place if you happen to be on campus at one of the hospitals or clinics. read more

Mind you, the center of the sandwich is touching the inside of the bag making it all soggy. And the edges of the bag is all dirty, presentation can work. Came here after a run on the Stanford campus and because every other café was closed during the holiday week. I was sooo pleasantly surprised!!! I got a Croissant Breakfast Sandwich and Veggie Quiche and both were incredible (ask for them to be heated up). It did take maybe five minutes or so to get them since it was busy. There's also four tables in the back, so we got lucky with snagging a table. read more

Located past the hospital gift shop, you'll find Cafe Parisian's plethora of pastries and sweets. Had their strawberry chocolate tart, which was filled with chocolate mousse. Their pesto bread was huge, super soft and chewy. A great lunch item! read more

Cafe Parisien is a little cafe in 500P of the Stanford Hospital which is independently run. The actual shop seems to be in Berkeley, which I have never visited. It's got a small number of inside seating and ample outdoor seating as well. The staff are warm and quick with taking your order (even if there is a long line), and you get your food quickly too. It's mostly pastries and sandwiches with some tea/coffee as well. The pastries are great, and the sandwiches are great as well. It is rather expensive ($10-12 for a sandwich), but the food is definitely better than the cafeteria food. Of note, the Market Square cafe nearby does have local restaurants who serve their food during lunch, and they're often better food for cheaper. However, if you're not during the lunch hours of Market Square, Cafe Parisien is probably your best bet for somewhat healthy and delicious food. Or you can treat yourself or a friend to some great pastries and cakes! Certainly worth checking out if you're stuck near the hospital. read more

This is such a lovely little spot on campus / near the hospital. The space is great - just big enough to feel spacious but efficient, lovely big glass windows for plenty of light, and the delicious display of all the lovely Parisian treats. The menu is the same as that from La Baguette in Stanford Mall so this is likely the same owner or a second store. I ordered the black forest cake which I rate 5 stars. It is such a lush delicate treat. Not too sweet and the perfect amount of cherry for me. Yes, it is one of the pricier desserts here but it was so good, that I've come back to try and order it again. Unfortunately, the cake sold out the other time I tried it so I had to go to the La Baguette location instead. I also had the coconut lime italian soda which was one of their summer specials. I unfortunately found it was too sweet for me and overpowering so I give that a 3 stars. But I will keep this place in mind any time I'm craving the black forest cake. read more

I had a strong and hot coffee and sweet bun (looks like a giant muffin but it's slightly crusty outside and fluffy inside yeast bread - not sweet tasting) perfect to dunk into the coffee. Having a loved one in the hospital at Stanford for over two weeks, Café Parisian has been the bright spot. There is espresso. Drinks are the best! Quality of drinks are inconsistent. I've tried ice mocha, which tasted more like a coffee than mocha, then I've tried ice matcha latte couple of times, sometimes the matcha powder does not dissolve and stays on the bottom, sometimes it tastes like just matcha powder with water, diluted, and no milk content inside. It really depends who's doing your drink and does not seem like they are well trained for doing a good job. read more

The location in Honolulu on Bishop is new, small, and seems efficient. Selection is good and I was surprised at the serve yourself model. I was able to pick what I wanted on my own with the help of some plastic gloves that were provided upon walking in. It was a good experience and prices were reasonable give it is Hawai'i. read more

Although the staff are friendly, I have been disappointed in the price and quality of the food and beverages the 2 times I stopped by recently. My first visit, I tried a matcha latte which was very bland since it came unsweetened. If the matcha is high quality, it should still taste good despite the lack of sugar. The second visit, I ordered a primavera salad and pastrami sandwich. Both items came in very small portions that were not well flavored. The pastrami was bland and the mustard tasted like French's mustard. I could have made the same sandwich for a fraction of the cost. Also, the baguette for the salad was the smallest baguette I've ever seen. The salad had an extremely vinegary taste with way more balsamic vinegar than oil. The dressing was so vinegary, I couldn't taste the salad greens, blue cheese, or Craisins in the salad. Pastries look nice but are also overpriced. A slice of Napoleon is $9.50. If you want an authentic French cafe with reasonable prices, try Douce France in Town and Country in Palo Alto right across from Stanford. I don't see myself returning here unless I'm desperate. read more

Inconsistent coffee. I'll attest their food is far better than the hospital's.. but it's strange to me the hospital leased this to them in the first place. The hospital already sponsors a family owned coffee shop and if I do understand correctly that one of the owners of that shop was a patient making it a nice story. Best little quiches I've ever had. Wish I could order them online and have them shipped to me! So satisfying. Unfortunately,, I took one star off because the cream puff I had was horrible. can't recall the exact name of the pastry as it had a French name, but avoid that. The pada shoo? was horribly dry. Good service as well, everyone was friendly. I didn't care for the cardboard straw tho because I had a 3+ hour drive home and half way home the straw was soggy and broke in half/bent, so was hard to get the rest of my iced mocha out of the cup.
