Easily the BEST brewery in the 5 cities!! They've been around for a while and I can certainly understand why! Their beers are tasty. Food is delicious. Staff is so friendly. We like hanging out outside here on a nice day. The inside has very little room to sit so plan to sit outside if you're visiting here for some beer. Their craft beers are awesome. They are one of my top 3 favorite breweries in all of SLO county. The shopping center they are located in is interesting. It feels like you're standing on a slope. Don't let that deter you. You fall in love with ManRock for the beer and then they go and start mastering food! The beer is terrific and they always have a great selection. The owner is always trying new things and keeps new beers in the rotation. I always try different beers when I go and haven't found one that I didn't like. Over the past couple years they've really began making great food as well. The pizzas, nachos, and burgers are all great. But the Pretzel...I tell everyone this is the best pretzel I've found in the area. The one pictured is bacon and cheddar. No matter when you stop in I would give the pretzel a try. Wednesday happy hour is amazing! Brought my cousins from out of town and it was BLT day. You could get a beer and a BLT for 15 bucks. We shared appetizers and everyone had a beer and our tab was under $60. Not only do they have tasty snacks but the beer is right up there with any big name brewery you can think of. The vibe is very laid back and you order at the counter so don't expect a server to come around every five minutes. The staff does do a good job of answering questions and having a good conversation if you are seated at the bar. read more

Yummmmm! I love ManRock! I went here for the second time with my brother just the other day and it was just as good as I remembered the first time. They have lots of food options to pair with their delicious beer. The nachos are the freakin BOMB! My brother liked all the beer he got which is saying a lot. We ended up having a pretty long conversation with the assistant brewmaster which was really informative and just overall pretty cool. All the staff was kind and the food and drinks were good. But thanks to my bank's vigilance they saved me from thousands of dollars lost. I rarely have been going out and to leave an open tab is far and fewer in between, which I happen to do this last Friday evening at the man rock. The next day my Debit card was charged with twenty to thirty separate times. From Tic Toc to Lyft. All of attempting to withdraw cash or buy online. I was told she was busy and was asked what the call pertained to in which I replied "you might have a thief working there." As I was put on hold I heard him say the thief comment to someone. When he returned asking for my phone number which I gave him he said the manager will call you back. I said I hope so cause i don't want to to make it worse than it already is. He reacted with " are you treating us?' I responded no of course not, but it show you all don't give a shit about your customers. I will change my review if i get a call back. But none as of yet. We initially found ManRock within first few months it opened and r happy to c its doing quite well!! We met the owner who has just retired and always wanted a bar so he said prob 10 years ago with only a few beer choices & couple wines with brick oven pizza and he was a solo worker with NO staff. Now they have a variety of beer, local wines, a kitchen with a pub style menu and employees!! We live in Lodi Wine Country and make trips to Pismo area 3-5 times annually. Congrats to small businesses that make it!! If ur in Pismo make sure to stop by!! May seem simple but I LUV the bacon wrapped hot dog!! Was a nice evening so we decided to eat outside on the picnic tables. Once you decide what you want, you walk up to the counter and order. They give you a "lighted puck" to let you know when your order is ready and you go get it, your eating utensils, and any condiments you need. I ordered the Garlic Pizza and wifey got a pulled pork sandwich with a side salad. My pizza was cooked in a wood fired oven that is outside. It was about 12" pizza and was very good. My wife's salad was a pile of mixed greens with some diced tomatoes. You get your choice of balsamic or ranch dressing. That's it. She got the balsamic which was just very basic, bottled, cheap, stuff. She said besides maybe reducing the dressing a bit, simply adding some feta cheese to the salad would have made a huge difference. The pulled pork was very bland. However the BBQ sauce saved the day. It is very good. My hazy IPA was excellent. So beer wise, excellent. Food wise, just so-so. Go with the pizza though. read more

Great spot down in the Pismo Beach area. Loved it. Small and cute. Great outdoor patio with a stage for live music, picnic tables, and pizza oven. Great selection of beers including limited series and some brews that aren't theirs but local. Staff are super friendly. We didn't get a chance to eat there and were hoping for a pretzel. But since they make them fresh the dough wasn't quite ready. I can appreciate that and the time put into fresh products. They do look fantastic from all the pics and the folks there must be regulars because they raved about them too. We will be back. read more

Very cool spot in Grover that's somewhat hidden so you don't really get a grasp of the actual size and space until you go in. They have a super sweet spot in the back with a stage and enough seating to accommodate at least 50 people, probably more. We usually come here on a Friday or Saturday, grab a beer and a pizza or hot dog and listen to some tunes. It's a super low key place - if you want to meet new people and socialize you can, or if you just want to find a private little spot outside and sip you can do that too. The staff is always super nice, food comes out hot and tasting great and of course, the beverages are delicious. Wow! Let's start with the fact that it's right off the freeway so easy access if your coming up or down the 101. It's a small little brewery but it packs a punch. It has a great local vibe, all the employees (all women when I was there) were so nice and helpful. They learned my name from taking my food order and would continue to use my name when speaking to me. Very impressed by the staff! Now the food and beer. I was there on Burger Night, had the pineapple and teriyaki burger and it was killer! I had their IPA and it was delicious! I brought home a DIPA in a crowler and can't wait to try it.
