Beer menu! Local and in house brews
    Jason S.

Another amazing venture to Kulturhaus Brewing. Met a bunch of friends for some great beer and food. Matt the "pourer" was awesome!! He let us taste what we wanted and was super informative. You can sit inside and watch the World Cup or outside and enjoy the weather. Highly recommend this place if you're in town and make sure you say Hi to Matt and compliment his beard.

Small but cozy spot with charming décor and outdoor seating lit by string lights. The "BTH" IPA stood out with excellent bitterness and bold flavor. I stopped in for a quick drink while waiting for a table at the restaurant next door, and it was the perfect place to pass the time.

This little brewery is a gem in Pismo Beach. We ended up going here looking to quench our thirst. and have a little small snack upon entering, we were greeted by the brewmaster himself. Once we entered, we took our seats at the bar and ordered one of their delicious beers. We started chatting with the brewmaster, whose knowledge is very fast upon not only the beer he brews himself but beer in general. He really takes consideration into his craft and made it a passion. We ordered food consisting of a bratwurst and pickled vegetables this was beyond palatable. One of the best little appetizers I've had. I would recommend this place to anyone because they are friendly fairly priced and if you were looking for good conversation. This is the place to go.

Been coming in for a couple of years. By far our favorite place to hang in Pismo. Family friendly, awesome food, stellar service, awesome beer & great tunes always playing. Eric & Matt are the best. Just great people.

    Very good beer.

We are back again love the food and beers service great and ambiance wonderful. Do not miss this gem.

Bacon grilled cheese and warm potato salad. All the yum.

Second visit and better than the first! The pretzel and beer cheese is a combination not to be missed. The warm German potato salad.. wow! Bacon grilled cheese? Come on. Great little spot away from the crowds. We will be repeat customers!

Great beer and food! Definitely worth the stop. The protein plate was so good with a variety of cheeses and veggies.

Chicken Brat and pickles platter (forgot the name). Delicious!

Great place to grab a beer and some pickles! The beer tender was very nice and friendly. He explained the differences in the beers and made suggestions. The food was also very good. We really liked the selection of pickles available.

We're alway on the hunt for nice cool breweries. This place is one not to be missed. And it was a surprise running into people we know. It's not big but does pack a punch with its size. They also have food on the menu. It's a small spot along one of the Main Street in downtown Pismo. A couple tables outside as well as inside which also has a little bar seating. The selection of beer on tap was nice. As well as one of their ciders. The gentleman working, he maybe the owner was a sweetheart. Very friendly and charming. Seems like everyone that was there all knew him. It's like a nice local hotspot. The vibe was pretty chill and mellow. A nice place for lounging and just enjoying a nice cold beer. Another one for the books for visit. It was wonderful and will for sure be back whenever we're in town again. It's also pet friendly. He even brought over a little treat for the pup.

Matt is witty and funny, adds to the good vibes. The linguica sausage platter with pickled samplers was uber good paired with the beers.

Here on Sunday Oct 5, end of summer. Luckily I got here just before the kitchen closed and I as able to order dinner. I got the protein plate with bratwurst and it was absolutely fabulous!! All of it was SO good - I hate beets, but these I did NOT hate! Matt, the bartender was really friendly, made me feel like an old friend- which was really nice since I was traveling solo. The beer was SO good! I will be back and I will recommend this place to everyone!!! Come here - don't miss it, it is a wonderful place!!!

Precision-crafted beer, expert hands behind the taps, and not a single drop of beer that tastes like disappointment. The Wecken (Awaken) 6.5% ABV is straight-up floral wizardry-honey, lavender, hibiscus, and rose combining into something that tastes like a California beach meadow in a glass. Pro tip: Don't ignore the food. Jen's a fermentation savant. Sausages and pickles so good, its like a religious experience-basically divine intervention. Jen and Eric aren't just running a top tier craft brewery, they've built an experience for casuals and beer-trekkers alike.

    My hubby chatting it up.

She remembered us from our visit back in November (7 months ago) and even remembered where we sat at the bar. Really shows how much they care about their guests. Kristen was so friendly, greeting everyone as they came in, and you could immediately tell this is a true local hangout where people know each other. That's the kind of place that makes a community feel special; it has a warm, comfortable, homey atmosphere. The music was perfect for the crowd! They had the first World Cup game playing, which made it a fun spot to relax while we waited. The food and drinks hit the spot; I am not a fan of Brussels Sprouts but I couldn't stop eating these. Loved how the French fries stayed crispy with the batter added! The overall experience was exactly what we were hoping for. We will be back, next time we are in town.

This summer they changed the menu quie a bit and also we have noticed the quality has gone down. My daughters chicken nuggets went from made fresh to frozen. Burgers went from a full size burger to barely over a slider. Fries are still really good along with cocktails. Bees knees and Jalisco Summer are the favorites for cocktails. Customer service is always pretty straight forward with young kids serving. No issues ever. Great casual dining setup but also good place to watch game. Bar is always busy when we go. We are little bummed as this was our go to spot and now its going to force us to look at other options but we will return as the Cubano still shows promise and the fries with ranch are amazing.

They were loud, obnoxious, had a dog that she had to keep asking the owner to stop letting him go behind the bar, but kept her cool. Her POS was giving her trouble on top of that. We (4 of us) placed our order and sat outside. The server (Celeste) turned out to be a one woman show. She was a terrific juggler, taking orders, tending the bar, cooking and later washing all the kitchen mats outside. Kept the crazies under control and was one step ahead keeping us covered. We had the stuffed pretzels and fish tacos. Very good! Original and fun idea for a pepperoni pizza in a pretzel stick/bun. This is bar food, so if that's not your jam, don't go. Our friends loved the beers they had and the wine they serve is canned. As a snobby wine person, it was above average. We got to talk a bit with Celeste after the other group left and we all agreed that the owner(s) is VERY lucky to have her. Probably the best weather day to sit outside and enjoy our food and people watch. Drop in and see if you agree with us. Don't think you'll be disappointed.

However I noticed they didn't serve beer from tap, instead they were dispensing into a pitcher, then pouring into glass - not sure what that was about. Seemed to close early, 8pm, for a brewery, but I guess it's a quieter area. Arrived past 7, hoping we can still get food and we were still good for food and beer! Ms. Kristie was so efficient and friendly and awesome, hustling back and forth from reception to seating and dropping by to check on all the patrons. Like a one woman show! I went for the Peanut butter falcon since I like a good brown beer. The peanut butter was initially nice, but it kinda became tiring as the sips went along, since peanut butter seemed a bit much over the beer. Got wife the German Pilsner and that was excellent! Smooth with a hint of malty sweetness too! I am thinking maybe the Lawn Order blonde ale is probably going to be great as well, but too full from late lunch to consume more than one. For food, went with the birria melt and the salmon salad. Birria melt had some awesome authentic flavors to it! Kid devoured it with the consomme. I enjoyed a quarter of it, but too full, so worked out perfect since kid didn't want to share more either, lol. Salmon salad was perfect! Pan seared on both side for that wonderful crust yet tender goodness. Salad dressing with cherry and almond slices made this salad so enjoyable while staying lighter. Was not expecting such salmon from a brewery, excellent food here! The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our waiter, Chris, went above and beyond by turning on both big-screen TVs: one showing the World Cup and the other showing the Spurs and Knicks basketball game, which definitely made the guys in our party happy! Everyone enjoyed their food, the SeaVenture dish didn't come out to the table hot, the sauce was warm.
