Even though it was after hours, Carlos was incredibly kind and told me to bring the car in right away. He welcomed me with a water bottle, reassured me that everything would be okay, and immediately helped me feel like I was in good hands. While I was there, I noticed he was also working on an Audi R8, which gave me even more confidence--clearly he knows his way around Audis. On Monday, he gave me a call to go over the repair estimate and mentioned another issue he noticed. He clearly explained everything and asked if I wanted to move forward. When the car was ready a few days later, he emailed me ahead of time with photos of the work and a detailed, itemized invoice. When I picked up the car, he walked me through exactly what he'd done and answered all my questions with patience and professionalism. My car has 111k miles when i brought it in and then just 8k miles later for the head gasket to fail. I took it back to them after they said it was probably my fuel injectors. Got the fuel injectors replaced at Honda under warranty. Just for them to tell me I need a new engine and the injectors were never replaced when they were. They don't keep their word, they will make up a story to cover their asses instead of being transparent. The cherry on top they will make you sign a quote for a "new engine" where it says nothing about a new engine and everything about the story they made up. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I reached out to this shop for an emergency alignment job. I had previously taken my car into a…read morenational, well-known franchise for regular maintenance. They informed me an alignment couldn't be completed by their shop. Unfortunately, after getting it back, my car was nearly impossible to steer, I would get thrown into other lanes and it felt like my car was going to slide right off the tires. It was dangerous to drive. Enter Manteca Tire & Wheel Outlet, after explaining what I needed I was told I could bring it in. They were open about not being able to do the job as well (I've owned the car for 10 years now, with several shops having difficulties aligning it--and no shop ever being able to get it to spec., even when the car was stock. It's a clear manufacturer defect.) And while it did take some time to complete, they were rather busy at the time, and still found time to accommodate me for this emergency. But they were very communicative during the entire process. They were even super apologetic they couldn't align it to spec., which I fully expected. Price was fairly good, much better than the previous shop, and they even gave me a break because it couldn't fully be aligned correctly. The car drives so much better now. Completely thankful to Manteca Tire & Wheel Outlet for getting this done and their honesty throughout the process!

The asst. manager at Auto Zone on Main St. advised we'd purchased the wrong bulb, got us the right one & tried to change it out. It wouldn't come out, so she referred us to Jack's Transmission. Jack too had to work at figuring out how to get this thing out, but he did get it changed & only charged a nominal price for it. All this after the local Midas had both quoted an overcharged amount for the bulb (almost double) AND $360 in labor! An obvious & obscene way to try to take advantage of a disabled senior! A cylinder head was my problem…read more I've tried two mechanics and was informed that they won't do in-engine repairs. It was a NYE evening and I met the owner, Aldo. I asked him if he does in-engine repairs. Store was closed on New Year's Day, of course. So, I brought my car in on Thursday. We spoke, he informed me the worst I needed to hear. He offered me two scenarios. Either re-bore the cylinder of my 100k engine or get a new engine. I made an effort to find one on eBay. After finding one, Aldo made it easy on me by talking to the seller of the engine.. He ended up purchasing the engine and of course, I'd pay Pro Touch Repairs after install. It only had 25k miles. During repairs, Aldo kept me informed about the repairs needed. One was waiting for a special tool. I decided to ask Aldo to add Bilstein struts. We had understandable issues during the repair that slowed the repairs for three weeks. Yet, he had no problem with my car on his lift for so long. Luckily, for me, my cousin lent her car out to me in exchange for taking care of her dog while she settled in her life. Long story shorten, Aldo is a patient, honest, and excellent mechanic that has gained my confidence to become my future mechanic.
