My favorite coffee shop hands down! Love the ambience! Very warm and welcoming environment. The interior has an eclectic decor that flows from the flooring, to the walls and ceiling. 8:30am on a Saturday morning...the kid taking the order got my drink order wrong. I ordered a Brown Sugar Coconut and got a honey lavender. The excuse was he couldn't hear. To be fair his is standing right in front of the chaos behind him. The gals making the drinks look like they are trying hard to stay organized, but it is utter chaos! My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch at 2pm. With only three things on their menu for this time period, they didn't have one (the tuna salad) and a second was not correct. Instead of the Brie grilled cheese, the sandwich was made with cheddar pepper jack, not even the same color. The truffled egg salad that my wife had "had a weird sour taste and was gritty". She couldn't finish it. The ambience is interesting, if you are into every table having a millennial with their laptop and coffee. Not my type of place. read more

This is my third time coming here, and every time it's packed. Not their fault, there's plenty of scattered seating, it's just an excellent ambiance with comfortable outdoor seating, so it feels like you're in your backyard. The music isn't overly loud, just plays as background noise. Service has been hit or miss, this current visit and second visit I had to ask them to make my drink and the baristas always say they thought the other person was going to do it. Drinks are inconsistent, we always order a large iced coffee and small hot mocha - the ice has been either way too much or just right, the mocha has had different levels of mocha flavor, but it's never been bad. I did ask this most recent time for a stay here mug, like usual, but the girl said they do not do that, and I did not argue, this mocha was not great, too much milk too weak of espresso. Pastries are good, not excellent, so the price point of $9.50 for a basic pastry is very high. Pastries are more cost effective at an actual professional pastry shop. For the ambience, seating options, and cute outdoor space it's worth coming to for a coffee or cocktail, just be aware of the expense. read more

Just found this spot with my daughter in old downtown Chandler. Beautiful interior with wood ceiling and a large bar area - both for coffee and adult beverage. Appears they sell beer and wine, not certain about spirits, but didn't ask. I guess, food, too, but I didn't pay much attention this time; so, I can't speak to the food or its quality. Lots of seating in and out and a great "backyard" with artificial lawn, great seating, and a place where your kids can run around a little. Front area has a large fire place. The only thing that was missing was more shading like umbrellas when the temp starts shooting up; but, they may, be planning that. As to the one comment I noticed about every table having "...a millennial with their laptop and coffee..." yeah, there were quite a few. I'm not certain, though, what coffee shop doesn't have that. They all had that that look of indifference and that little kids annoy them - who cares. But, I know older boomers like myself who take their computer to coffee shops, too, just for a change of pace. There were plenty of people who actually didn't have that pensive look and seemed to be enjoying the society of of others. The overall vide is more "accommodating" to probably more types from millennials to someone who just wants a clean, upscale local that is classy but not effeminate. Great place to take your wife for an evening date. Good coffee. Asked for a cappuccino and that's what I got - minimal milk, mostly coffee and foam - not a latte that they call a cap. Great pastries. This cute cafe/bistro is a perfect place to just chill at in downtown Chandler. It recently opened a few weeks ago. The hubby and I dropped in after running errands this morning and we were looking around for a casual outdoor place with drinks and a light menu. What a pleasant surprise to find this place with an inviting outdoor setting. We found quick parking alongside the place. The outdoor seating has a couple of fire pits and a double-sided fireplace. I was telling one hpw excited I was to be back again and she did not even smile, it was like whatever. The building is pretty, the food and pastries are good. I have been giving Maple House my money since they opened and have always had a good experience. I am 2 months postpartum and have been coming literally 3-4x a week since baby since it's such a chill place to sit and enjoy a coffee, as there is plenty of seating. Usually do an iced macc or latte and it is always consistent. I like that the syrups they use have simple ingredients compared to other brands. Baristas are always friendly and service has always been good. My only two cons are that though it is a family friendly place, there is no baby changing table in the restroom. This would be a great addition for all the families that chose to come and take a break here. Also think, misters would be an amazing addition for summer. Overall they're doing a great job and it is one of my top favorite places to be! read more

I had their creme brûlée late (iced) and it was very good. Not too sweet. We also ordered a late that had coconut syrup, which was yummy as well but too sweet for my liking. Also orderedthe lavender latte and it was great too! I also ordered a cinnamon roll that stole the show. I went in really close to closing time and event though this roll was probably made early that morning it was still delicious. It was not regular dough it was croissant like. We also got a raspberry tart which went in extremely well with the sweetness of the coffee. The service was fast, and it is a great place to come hang out with friends or a date. First experience at Maple house was really disappointing. We entered the establishment in the late afternoon with no direction whether this was self seating or if we needed to wait for a host. No signs anywhere. Secondly, we decided to order the cheese board for $26. For that price, expectations were quite high, which was undoubtedly let down. We received 3 cheeses and half a plate of bread (see photo below). Lastly, since we were seemingly unaware that we needed to wait inside for our food, we waited at a table on the patio. A gentleman came out, yelling our name, which we responded and apologized for not waiting inside for the food. He slammed the cheese plate on the table, said nothing and walked away. On a silent patio, that sure made a statement with the other guests. Will not be back and will give a fair warning to those that choose to go, you're better off at a different place in Chandler for better service and warmer greetings. For all the hype it's getting on social media, it sure doesn't live up to those expectations. read more
