The heat lamps were on in the enclosed area out front and they have cushions for the wrought iron chains and a shelf of blankets for customers to use. Complimentary Chilean bread rolls brought to the table right away with garlic herb butter, salsa verde sauce (chimicuri like) so good, made the old fashioned way with pork fat. Calamari Frito, Cajun seasoning, light and crunchy with a house made tarter sauce (excellent server brought us an additional tarter) Crab stuffed chili Relleno was a creative version of this meal I've eaten dozens of times, feta and a sweet sauce with the rock crab was delicious. Panqueque especial ,chorizo had a little kick but was cooled off by the pineapple and sweetness of the crepe. All baked together with rice, cheese, guac, veggie's on the side, this was a big meal that was packed with a savory mix of flavors,my favorite thing I sampled. Honey shirachi shrimp, jalapeno, bacon, pineapple,on slaw. Big shrimp, big taste in the sauce, excellent appetizer or can be ordered as a full meal. Fort Rock beer on tap ,live music, fun place and I will be back.

I would definitely recommend getting a churro afterwards. Again, the churro is made fresh and has a filling inside. The service here is also pretty friendly and welcoming. Find a table and they will bring you the food. They offer soups and salads, some appetizers, and Sandwiches. But they specialize in Empanadas. You can choose your fillings of meat or veggies. One empanada was good enough for me for some you might want two (for a meal). I love the sauces they serve as well, my personal favorite was the Chimichurri (which consisted of Fresh Chopped Parsley, Olive Oil, White Vinegar, Lemon Juice, Garlic, and Lots of Spices). I loved it! Last but not least they are not stingy with the fillings of the Empanadas. I had the ground beef, it was so juicy and hot (temp wise). Oh, the Empanadas are so cute, they put the Eid own little stamp on it. And each one is labeled with the type of protein you ordered (see photos). In this cafe, you can play board games while you wait for your food. They even have books and toys and all kinds of things to entertain yourself with. I feel like this place is a good spot to hang out for families with kids. Note: did I mention the owners of the place were so nice and friendly? Thank you so much!!!

Not sure if it was on "off" day for the chef but the Shepherds pie had zero flavor as if no spices or salt was used. The celery and carrots were undercooked and crunchy. There was hardly any meat and veg compared to the amount of potatoes on top. Potatoes also had no flavor of salt or butter. So bland and blech! Aside from the taste of the terrible food, the prices were way too high for the amount of food..$26 for a very small shepherds pie. There is no wait staff. You place your order at the counter. Once we ordered and paid for two shepherds pies (with the tip upfront) we found a table and sat down. The cashier then came to tell us there was only one shepherds pie left (on a Saturday at 5:30 in the evening?) and we could order something else and since we had already paid, he would give us another drink or something to offset the difference. We then ordered The Rancher. This also had hardly any filling with a puff pastry on top. Again, way overpriced at $24. We didn't get another drink to make up for the price difference. On top of all this, the Saturday evening "entertainment" was a group of senior citizens singing songs from the 50's and 60's very LOUDLY. It was a strange choice for a weekend night at a bar. No offense to the singers but wow, it was awkward as you feel as if you have to give a bit of applause since they are literally right next to the table. We left after eating a small amount and went to find dinner somewhere else.

We were not in a hurry and were told around 6 minutes for our order (which seemed way too quick). It took about 20 minutes which, again, was absolutely fine because we were in no rush. But a better expectation should be set. Also, they were out of the ingredients for at least 3 of the pies and the dough on the Ireland was a bit undercooked on the edge. The interior is very small with one table (3 seats) and a counter (2 seats). The business is attached to and run by the same people who own the Enchanted Forest. The decorations are fake ivy leaves and fake bark with moss on the walls and ceilings. Unfortunately, these things are difficult to keep clean and, therefore, carry a hefty amount of dust in the Enchanted Forest side where the restroom is located. Also, the fan in the Pastry shop looks like it has not been cleaned in 10 years. The employee handled dirty plates with the same gloved hand that he then used to continue making our food. Not sure I would return.
