    Blue Lemonade
    Ernest R.

Been wanting to try Marathon Burgers since inception, but had not made it til now. Ordered the Smash Burger Combo with the Blue Lemonade. And a Marathon Burger as well. The service was friendly and proficient. The ambiance was one that let you know that these Burgers are GOOD. A few people pulled up to get their meals as well. Enjoyed my meal thoroughly. The Burgers were both delish. The Brioche Buns giving it a real sense of value (along with those Wagyu Beef Patties) allowing one to appreciate the effort put in to making these Burgers doable regardless. Whatever time of day. These Burgers stand on their own. The Fries perfectly mesh with the Burgers. Just like I like them. A little crisp but tender in their bite. Will surely be back and want to give Marathon Burgers and Staff Kudos for a great meal experience worth repeating. See you soon.

Last time I was in LA, Marathon Burger was closed. My cousin told me the one in Venice Beach was open as she knows I love the beach. The burger is small and pricey for my Texas standards but good. The service was slow but still very friendly. The French fries need a do over. Also, why are you serving me a can drink, pouring into a cup with ice. Just give me the can. If I could just rate on the burger it would be a four but adding everything else the experience gets a three only because the service was good but slow, the burger was excellent. However, pricing, French fries and that can soda brings the rating down.

It's on the corner and hard to miss, the lines to order move quickly, staff was chill and polite, they played OLD jams outside which made waiting for our food easy! I got the classic Marathon Burger and it was DELICIOUS!!! The Wagyu was cooked perfectly, all the toppings were added to the burger in a way that when you take a bite nothing is falling out. It was so flavorful and the secret sauce made it pop! Such a good burger for the value, and I know where I'll be grabbing burgers when I'm in Venice from now on!

My fiancée and I were so excited to try this spot because we've heard nothing but good things. And I'll get it out of the way now the food was actually really good! But waiting 30-40 minutes for 1 burger was terrible. And it seemed like the worker built up the line purposefully to post on their social media. The outside seating is also nothing crazy but it is nice that the place is beach side. Overall I'd want to try something else from their menu because the marathon burger was great, but I'm not sure if it will be worth it if the workers at the same as last time.

i've only tried the wings but first bite had me in love. They are outstanding. I like hot and they're crunchy and they're not all huge like some wing places Half. I hate those super huge steroid wings. These are real wings. That taste great. Highly recommend these.

After a full day of swimming at the beach, my little guy was ready to refuel. We decided to swing by Marathon Burger, honoring the spirit of Nipsey as we support local businesses. With a combo costing $26, Nipsey's words, "double up," resonate even more in this moment. Lol The food was decent; my son mentioned the smash burger reminded him of In-N-Out. So to him that's a 5/5. The customer service truly stood out. The young man and woman who took my order were incredibly kind, quickly addressing my needs despite a hiccup with my Yelp order. Just a reminder: it's best to call ahead since they don't take Yelp orders. We parked at the Pacific parking, embracing a brief 10-minute walk to reach our destination. Life is all about the journey. (But I took my car instead lol and got lucky w/ parking)

Venice Beach has all your typical boardwalk/carnival food options but if you want something different than corn dogs, fresh cut fruit and fried Oreos, then Marathon Burger is a great option to go to. For $20, you can get a Marathon Burger (a smash patty with American cheese, sliced peppers and house pickles in a brioche bun), a generous side of seasoned fries and a drink. To cut to the chase, it is a very good meal. Solid! I would come here again, most definitely. The lines on a Thursday afternoon was minimal so I can't contest about how the lines are on a weekend. I walked up and managed to make my order, sat down and in 10 to 15 mins, we got our order. The staff was friendly and the vibe was chill.

I'm pleased that I was able to try out this location on Venice. I guess I had my expectations set high. Unfortunately, I found the food was subpar for the price. The fries weren't crunchy, meaning they probably weren't cooked fresh. However, the flavor of the fries were good, I believe I tasted paprika? I ordered the veggie burger which was ok yet fulfilling, it had the taste of country style potatoes that you get at a diner. The spot is a walk up and order your food and sit outside location. I had the blue lemonade which was suuuper sweet, but if that's your preference then you'll be satisfied. The service was excellent, the girl who took our order was very friendly.

June 4, 2025 | Venice Beach | On Wednesday, I walked up the boardwalk, excited to try a restaurant new to the neighborhood, Marathon Burger! What a delicious burger find! I knew of the music, the brand and of the man & now it was time to meet the burger! Vegan Burger: Absolutely delicious & juicy! I immediately enjoyed the seasoned to perfection patty with a little bit of spice from the red chilles, just how I like it! Every bite was honestly flavor upon flavor, and I was loving it! I could definitely taste the presence of potatoes! The bun is lightly grilled and I love the flavorful thick red onions! There are a variety of burgers on the menu; a little something for everyone! Fries: Incredibly delicious & seasoned! Trust me, there is no way you can only eat just one! They were gone with the quickness! Hahaha! There is so much flavor! I love that there's also an option for onion rings as well, which I'm excited to try one day soon! Sweet Tea: Sweet without being overpowering; perfectly balanced! I almost feel like there's a peach flavor mixed in! It's absolutely refreshing! Customer Service: Super friendly from the moment I stepped up to the window to order and throughout! The girl who helped me was so nice, with an incredibly pleasant voice! Minutes later, after my name was called, Jay was friendly as well, as he handed me my food to go! Good vibes here! Scenery: Nipsey Hussle wall art was front, center and larger than life, as I watched people excitedly take photos and videos in front of him! Seating: There are a number of tables with umbrellas! Also, the location is right on the oceanfront; the sand is steps away, where I enjoyed my meal! Overall: I'm so excited that Marathon Burger is walking distance here on the ocean front! It's a great addition to Venice Beach! I will walk back over soon to try more items on the menu!

The burgers were genuinely good. Just wished the service was quicker. Seemed like the process could be better organized. Even without many customers, the wait seemed a bit long. Anyway, if we talk about the quality of the food and its locations on the Venice boardwalk, it was good.

    Donovan M.

Had to check out Marathon Burger on Venice. Got the OG burger, fries, blu lemonade and wings. The wings were really good. Only outside seating available. There are lots of orders coming in, so it might take a little while to get your food. Make sure you grab the Blu lemonade when you visit.

    Lakeshia O.

Finally had a chance to stop by and so glad we did. We tried the marathon burger and the smash burger, both were 5/5. We walked up and there were maybe two ppl ahead of us. Service good, we were able to order and wait around for our food. The wait was normal, not too long. The fries and lemonade were pretty good too. I didn't realize this location is pick up only. But overall, really good. I'd go here over going to a chain burger spot.

    Nelson H.

The best lemon chicken wings ever. Of course, their burgers are amazing too! Everyone that works there is super nice and friendly. Nothing beats eating a delicious burger next to the ocean!

NOTE: Restaurant has a website & orders can be placed online, though no menu pics for point of reference. Sinners for decadent desserts & saints for gluten-free delights... Sinners & Saints Desserts offers a splurge for a luscious dessert, yet scrumptious for those that need gluten-free treats. Be mindful that their kitchen is not a dedicated gluten-free one, but precautions are taken to minimize cross contamination. I used to work in the area & came across this bakery, but never got around to trying them out. Since my daughter's birthday was coming up, I thought about trying them out since their desserts were beautifully displayed... they should taste good, right? I ordered the current favorite flavor: red velvet, & asked if they could decorate it with pink flowers & birthday message in red. The cake looks plain with just 3 pink roses, but the birthday cursive was pretty good; however, for the price, it wasn't worth eating a super dry cake. Our family of 4 barely ate 1/3, & tried giving it away to our neighbors, who were also unimpressed. The Smack Pie was supposedly a decadent chocolate lover's sinful treat. It was meh... the ganache wasn't silky-smooth but did taste fudgy, the caramel was hard, & the peanuts were stale. We did enjoy the Banana Cream & Lemon Blueberry Tarts to offset the very dry birthday cake. Luckily, I bought these to compensate for the cake so the birthday girl was happy in the end. Sinners & Saints Desserts sounds like a deliciously tempting bakery but some of their goods miss the mark. I don't think I'll be purposely sinning here much. Recommended: Lemon Blueberry & Banana Cream Tarts.

I was a little bummed since I was looking forward to trying the carrot cake, but the lemon cookie was still good. Overall, the cookies are good, but they don't really taste like cookies to me. I was helped by a lovely Asian gentleman who took my order with care and kindness, and that attention carried straight through to the food. These people know how to make crêpes -- the real way. Not thick, doughy, pancake-style impostors like so many places serve, but thin, delicate, authentically French crêpes. That thinness matters. It's what makes every bite more flavorful, allowing the fillings to shine instead of being buried under heavy batter. The Nutella crêpe was an experience on its own. Because the crêpe is so thin, the chocolate melts instantly on your tongue. The warmth releases the deep cocoa aroma, coating your mouth in smooth, rich sweetness without ever feeling overwhelming. It's balanced, indulgent, and incredibly satisfying. The breakfast omelette was just as impressive. Savory, well-seasoned, and comforting, with the salt hitting your taste buds first -- waking up your palate -- followed by the richness of the eggs. I added avocado for just $0.50, and it was absolutely worth it. The creamy texture softened the saltiness perfectly, creating a smooth, rounded bite that lingered in the best way. This place understands flavor, texture, and authenticity. When crêpes are made this thin, every ingredient speaks louder, tastes clearer, and feels more intentional. I'll be back -- without hesitation.
