It is so cool that they have now added a Great American Cookie to Marble Slab on this side of town so now we don't have to go to the mall for a cookie cake ! The cleanliness of this location is good and the staff is friendly. My only concern is their glove policy It does make me a little concerned when I see ice cream being scooped without a glove. Overall the cookie cakes are my favorite but I do feel they have become more expensive and seem very thin now. read more

Really bummed that I brought my son here for his first time and wanted him to experience how a marble creamy works!! Unfortunately when we ordered the nice lady said here marble slab wasn't cold enough to make our ice cream! She said we can put it in the cup and mix it ourselves. (Not in a mean way) After asking how long would it take to cool (I really wanted my son to get the full experience) she said she can try it. Unfortunately it was melting the ice cream but she did her best! Next was my turn and since they couldn't mix the ice cream I figure I'll get a banana split cause that easy! Nope!! She said they didn't have the container for it!! I had to settle for vanilla and strawberry with nuts and chocolate chips on top.. she didn't even try mixing and I just left it like that! I have been wanting to check this place out. I read reviews and was excited. I finally got a chance to check this place out. It says it opens at noon and we showed up at noon, the lady inside is slowly putting things together like she is going to open. So, it opened at 12:05. Which to many that's not a big deal. Secondly, the place smelled disgusting. Very humid and hot inside. Smelled and felt like a bath house. Additionally, they were out of ingredients that someone would want like peanut butter. I ordered a rocky road and it was horrible. No where close to good. I actually regretted spending $9.00 on a crappy cup of ice cream. I suggest go the HEB and buy a tub of ice cream that would taste a ton better and you won't have to go in this place. This was the worst ice cream place I been while in San Antonio. read more

Came here for some dessert after a lovely dinner my Lord, the options this place has is impeccable I like basic flavors that are elevated. I got the sweet cream and the vanilla ice cream's and they were by far some of the best I've ever had the lady work at the counter, was also extremely nice cheerful and offered us different ideas and combinations, which was more than extraordinary for service. I ordered via Uber Eats, paid a total of $32 for two pints of ice cream. The least I would expect is my ice cream to actually be the quality I pay for. I ordered the dark chocolate, with walnuts, brownie, and reese's cup sprinkles. The pint of ice cream was a piece of brownie and probably five small walnut pieces, stuffed on the top, not even pretending to have mixed the ingredients and there was no reese's cup. So many strange things. . Didn't realize they literally have a slab of marble. So I have no idea how to order, and the menu up there doesn't even help. So I just ask for two flavors in the waffle bowl thing and they ask if i want toppings like heck yeah i want toppings what do you have? they're over there. okay i go over there and pick some and she brings the ice cream over to the slab and throws some toppings in there and puts it in the cup and places it up on the counter and it's dripping down the side of the bowl (i didn't get my waffle bowl thing). i just let it drip a little and then wiped it a bit but then you have to pay and it melts a little bit more and then you have to take the dirty cup and start eating it. my boyfriend got a waffle bowl thing and he gave me some of his, and man it did not taste right, i'm glad i didnt get one. the best way to describe the taste is like a sugar waffle cone with a taste of how cleaning chemicals smell. it literally tasted soapy. i think it was the chocolate dip part at the top. it was the strangest thing. anyway, i spent $19 on two ice creams, and no one ever asked me what size i wanted, i received the "best value" size according to the receipt, i dont even know what a small or a medium was, i didn't see any example cup sizes. i can't believe i ever thought ben and jerry's was expensive. wouldn't really say it's worth it at all. the marble slab itself didn't look too cold. the service was meh. i definitely wouldn't recommend this place, in fact i would actively dissuade people from going here. but anyway, if you have $19 to spend on ice cream just go with a few pints of ben and jerry's phish food. read more

MSC may be a chain ice cream parlor like Baskin Robbins but doesn't have 31 flavors. But that's okay. Even though vanilla is my favorite flavor, it's not the best here. It's kinda bland. They have two types of chocolate, Chocolate Swiss and Double Dark Chocolate. I don't care much for either so I skip those in favor of a particular flavor, rum. Two of the best things in life, ice cream and alcohol, put together. You gotta love it! I was just there and honestly I'm very disappointed. As we watched the young girl get ice cream , her loose hair kept falling in towards the ice cream as she leaned down then she would toss it back with her shoulders. Back and forth..a few times... does anyone else know what can fall out of the hair with just a simple hair swift? And my bf noticed the other staff scratch at her nose at least three times while serving the people in front of us.. after I Kindly(not rude at all) asked her to pick her hair up before she continued to serve our ice cream, she did not say a word, she turned her head and made a face to her co worker in response then walked away, possibly to go pick up her hair after all but at that point we were done and we left.
