Seem this chain around town but as I'm way out of there delivery range I've never tried it. Thanks to a door dash deal I finally pulled the trigger and now I'm glad I did. The pizza was top shelf excellent. Gooey cheese, spicy sauce, plenty of toppings and a pillowy crust. The wings were better than average for a pizza chain, good spice in the sauce. And the price was extremely competitive compared to other chains. Of course I'm still outside their delivery range, so it will be a while before I get them again. But I look forward to it. read more

The location looks a bit sketch but it's super worth it because the pizza is amazing. Super fluffy crust and yummy little pepperonis. I got half Hawaiian chicken and half pepperoni, and an order of cheesy bread. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Since the old Burnet Road location closed, looks like I'll have to stick with this newish Research location (opened like in 2013). Folks in my office get Marco's quite frequently for work meetings. I've never been in love with the pizza. I'd rather get Gatti's or for god's sake Little Caesar's for pizza (on the cheap) (well, tbh, I'd rather get Little Deli or House Pizza, but those are a bit of a commute). Buuuuuut....... CheezyBread. Five bucks. Mix the dipping marinara sauce and ranch dressing. Probably made to feed 2 1/5 (I for some reason never have leftovers). They are almost always super fast, usually able to have it ready for me by the time I drive over from the nearby gym after I call during my "cooldown lap". *hangs head in shame* Four stars, but based on the CheezyBread alone. read more

I don't know if it is because of inflation but I've noticed this Marco's location has been steadily increasing the size of the crust on their pizzas. I recently ordered a couple of extra large pizzas, and on both of them the crust makes up 2/5 of each slice, if not more This is made worse by the fact they had already increased the price of their items as well as the delivery fee The owner should be ashamed for their greed and no one should give their hard earned money to this kind of slimy business read more

This location would have a higher review if it did not have a buffet. We have ordered to go many times from here and enjoy the pizza more than other fast food pizza places. However, I stopped once for the buffet and it is terrible and shouldn't even have a buffet. There are about 6 tables and with half of them full there was no pizza for a solid 15 minutes. And when there was pizza out there was a basic cheese pizza and a basic pepperoni. Just a disappointment for a buffet and would be better off without it. read more

Ordered two pizzas from here, one free and one paid for, and they were both terrible. Bland, no seasoning or flavor, low quality ingredients. I honestly thought I was coming down with Covid BC I had to have been losing my sense of taste BC there was nothing to taste in these pizzas. (Thankfully, Covid free!) This was the first time we tried Marcos, and it will surely be the last. Spent about $22 with tax and tip for a large specialty pizza which was the same or worse in quality comparison to Lil Caesars. (I don't like lil caesars either) but at least their pizzas are cheap and poor quality. Just get Dominos. Or try Aviators about 7 minutes away. Aviators makes your taste buds singggggg. read more

Normally, I have no issues with this Marco's location. My food is always hot and fresh and everything tastes great. I don't know what it is about their calzones, though. The first time, I received one that did not have my "toppings". I called, and they sent me a new one. Great. I was happy. This is the second time I ordered one, and it came without any toppings at all. . Just dough and maybe cheese? What's up with that, Marcos? I am not in a position to drive up there to pick one up because I'm at work. So it's bread and water for lunch. read more

This pizza was sooooooo stinkin' good!!!! It was so fresh and everything about it was amazing. The crust is perfect. I got the traditional pepperoni pizza and it was just so good. I ordered online, it was super easy and quick. There was not a line when I went, but a good amount of people dining in. I wish I would have known about this place before I started Keto!! We are kind of new as we have been to Marcos Before but not in a long time so this is our "First time Back" and we decided to order online which was a delightful experience ordering online we tried the new all meat Pizza Bowl which was fantastic especially if you do not want the pizza crust and they give you free jalapenos if you ask for it which i love jalapenos and it was hassle free on picking up the online ordering and she was very nice that brought the order to us in the restaurant and was very knoweledgable on my question on the Jalapenos we will be back again to order their pizza bowls again and it can easily feed one person read more

Placed an order at 11:00 Am for delivery that evening at 6:40. It was one hour late. Despite repeated calls to the store no resolution or offer of credit. So disappointed in this place we placed an order for delivery of a large cheese pizza at 11:18 am today and it's now 1pm and no pizza. I have called several times and each time it has left, or they are super slammed or lastly they just put me on hold and never came back on the phone. Keep in mind we are literally right next door. The Lady Raiders, from Cedar Ridge HS, have been ordering pizza from your establishment for over three years. We order up to two times a week depending on our basketball game schedule. For at least the last two pick ups, 8 pizza's total we have been over charged. This was JUST brought to our attention when the receipts were turned in for reimbursement. We were charged $13.79 for the PP pizza and $11.99 for a cheese pizza. We were quoted $8 for the PP pizza and $7 for a cheese pizza. Our booster club president, Bruce Johnson, called on Thursday, January 27th to discuss the disparity in the prices that we were charged and then reminded her the price we SHOULD have been charged. The employee kindly told us she could give that to us on our NEXT order, BUT offered no refund on the over charged pizza's. When discussed with the booster club, they unanimously voted to pick another vendor for the remainder of this season and for the future. I am very disappointed in which this matter was handled. read more

Standard chain pizza. Good sauce, adequate crust, slightly below average toppings. Couple of minor gripes which can probably be attributed to it being a newly opened location. First, their website wasn't able to accept the promotion that made us want to order. Additionally, once we got to the restaurant, their printer wasn't working, which meant we signed a blank piece of paper for the credit card. Weird to say the least. Marco's is by no means bad pizza, but I've definitely experienced better as far as both the pizza and the execution of our order. We stopped at this place, as it's on the way home from work. We have been passing it for months, and finally decided to give it a try. When you walk in, this does not feel like your typical Domino's or Pizza Hut. Sure, you see the ovens and prep area, but the place has a warm, hospitable feel from the moment you walk in. There are TVs on the wall, self serve soda fountains, salad bar, and a buffet (during weekday lunch hours). Nice place! We were promptly greeted by the lady at the counter, who we found out a bit later was one of the owners of the place. We asked about specials, and she showed us a LIST of deals, with tons of different options and sizes to choose from. We chose their meat pizza on one half, and their special pepperoni combo on the other side. That's two different kinds of pepperoni (regular, and small round and crunch pieces) with extra cheese. Very tasty, not too greasy, and not too sweet in the sauce department. We had their regular hand tossed crust (as they make it fresh each day), and it was very good. Had a nice crunch to it, but was just chewy enough that the crust alone was great! We also got some of their cheesy bread. Hands down, the best cheese bread that I've had in Austin. Came with marinara and ranch, which were both very good, as well. Both of the owners (husband and wife) came out to meet us and talk with us. Very hospitable, and wonderfully nice to deal with. This place just opened in the Arboretum area, and it delivers to my house. I love having more options for delivery in the area, so I was excited to try this out. We have ordered twice and got a traditional crust, and a thin crust pizza. Both styles provided a satisfactory slice of pie. It's nothing that will make you jump up and down for joy by any means, but the pizza is definitely a great substitute for Papa John's, Austin's Pizza, or any other 'regular old' delivery pizza place. They have sandwiches, meatballs, salads, and a variety of other things on the menu as well. We have had some cheesy bread which was pretty tasty; and the sandwiches look pretty decent. There's no doubt that we will be ordering some non-pizza items some time real soon. I was happy to find that Marco's doesn't suck ass like a few of the other pizza delivery options in the neighborhood. If you are sick of Papa John's and Pizza Hut, give Marco's a try. read more

Marcos pizza is doing God's work. You must understand, I am obsessed with pizza and this is the best I have ever had. Upon opening my first delivery, it was clear that Marco spared no expense in my pie. I was quoted 20 mins and got it hot in herr in 20 mins; I kid you not. They had the box stilt in the center to hold everything together and a perforated cardboard to catch any grease, even though there was little to no grease. Now onto the pizza. I am Italian and I eat pizza almost 5 times a week. All the ingredients were top notch and they were provided accurately and plentifully. I ordered a simple double pepperoni but they had two types! One was the standard and the other was old world pepperoni. It was smaller, crispy and a hint of sweetness. Someone put love into this pie, equally spacing both pepperonies to always get that perfect bite. The mozzarella was pure and very fresh, not some cheap mix. The crust was very impressive, I tried the original. The crust had great consistency and had a perfect balance of crispy to soft texture. Under the pizza, a liberal amount of corn meal was found and that was delicious. With the amount of quality ingredients within this pizza, they must make little profit off a pie so give Marcos all your business. I know I will be. read more

Ordered online, that was fine. Food was good. Problem was the service. The delivery driver took HALF AN HOUR on the phone with me, after actually getting to my location, to actually *find* where I was. I sent him a picture. I offered to send him a map. He still couldn't find it. Admittedly my place is a little hard to find, but if you listen carefully and *read* what's written, it's not that bad. No other delivery driver has had _that_ much trouble finding my place in the 3 years I've been here. I had to walk a few blocks to a cross street - meanwhile he couldn't even tell me where he was clearly, I had to ask 3 times - to FLAG HIM DOWN. Couldn't navigate by streets or landmarks to save his life. Poor fella. I gave him an approximate 20% tip because I'm a nice guy, but I won't be ordering delivery here again, that's for sure. Think of this place as a neighborhood wannabe Papa Johns. I decided to give it a shot based on a half off special at my apartment complex. I ordered something simple, a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza with two flavors of wings. The pizza was just meh and the wings were soggy and over sauced. Perhaps the best part of the whole experience was the highly questionable delivery guy who waxed poetic about this and that in an overly creepy, trying too hard, "I'm a meth head in my 40's" kind of way. My daughter and I tried Marco's for the first time last night and were very impressed. In both price and quality Marco's is way ahead of Papa John's but perhaps not up to the benchmark of an Austin's Pizza (no whole wheat crust option) -- that's okay, Marco's isn't as expensive as Austin's either! We tried the original, hand-tossed crust -- very flavorful and a nice balance of crispy/chewy, definitely more than just a flour and water conveyor belt! Daughter thought her plain cheese half of the pizza was very good, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Garden combo (feta, black olives, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes). I wish they had more defined specialty pizzas, but there's always the build-your-own option. Marco's is a few blocks farther away from us than Papa John's, but we can see Marco's as our new default pizza option. read more

Always good to find a nice local pizza joint that provides a different tasting pizza. Family here in Austin recommended as we were too lazy to cook on a Saturday night. Ordered hot wings which had a buffalo vinegary, almost Louisiana sauce flavor. They were meaty, tender, and not too hot or mild. They were more like most locations' mediums. Had a pepperoni for the kids and a sausage veggie combo for the grown ups. Both crusts were perfectly cooked to a light golden brown and yet were still soft inside. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. Service for take out was quick, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely be back to Marco's on my next visit to Austin if I'm craving a pizza. Whoever answered your phones today should get a lesson in customer service. I ordered delivery and did not get my full order. I called to let them know and the guy who answered actually said "well you didn't order that." I said "how do you even know who this is when I haven't given you my name or my order number?" He then asked who it was and I told him and instead of looking my actual name up, he asked me instead what I ordered. I told him the order and he goes "oh we probably forgot, we've been busy". Then he went silent like "whatever" and didn't offer any remedy at all. At that point I was over his attitude and just hung up. It does not matter how busy you are (it's not even a weekend night, its Wednesday of all days), you get the order right no matter what and if someone calls to ask about it, you don't get attitude and just say "oh well, too bad". read more

Keep your pizza requests simple. They did a good job on the second pizza. Which was a cheese. I'd say don't ask for too many toppings because it will make your pizza soggy here. I've tried their pizza 3 times now, just to be sure. I did this because I really wanted a good pizza place nearby. But unfortunately I believe the food here is pretty solidly mediocre. The first two times, I ordered my own pizza, the third I had the lunch buffet. (Although at the buffet one of the pizzas was fresh from the oven.) It came with a "salad bar", but all the veggies were closed up in canisters. Nothing wrong with the taste, but it was a pretty poor presentation. The dressing was in a packet. I'm not sure if it's always like this or I just came late and they had put it away. The sauce on the pizza, and the whole pizza itself, was kind of bland. I'm kind of having trouble remembering how it tasted to be honest. I will say I think the pizza I ordered was better tasting than the buffet pizza, but there are several better options in this town. read more
