I tried to give them another chance, but I'm totally done with this location and perhaps the franchise as a whole. Their service and food quality continues to decline. Ok here is the last straw, I ordered a Large Deluxe thin crust, regular Garden Salad, and small Cinnamon Squares. They delivered on time, pizza and salad look good. After I plated it and start to dig in, I'm confronted with an insect/bug of some sort, not sure if it was in the pizza or salad, but either way it was there. I called the store and the young man says we don't have bug, which to me implies that I did (not even) and he would have the manager call be back. My family and I had just finished watching the Fourth of July fireworks and decided to grab a pizza from Marcos Pizza. Before heading there, we called to confirm the closing time for that specific location, and they told us they close at 11 PM. We arrived at 10:30 PM, well aware that their posted closing time is 11 PM. However, the cashier told us that they couldn't take any more orders because they were closing in 10 minutes. To add to our frustration, the "open" sign was still on. Whether you close early for the holiday or not, the fact is that you were indeed OPEN for 10 more minutes. Refusing to take our order when the doors are still open, the "open" sign is on, and there's still time left before closing is completely unacceptable. How does it make sense to turn away customers during your posted business hours, especially after we confirmed the closing time over the phone? Is this how you run your business? We left without pizza, incredibly disappointed. This experience has left a sour taste in our mouths, and we will think twice before considering Marcos Pizza again. The employees are friendly but I am giving this location one star because they messed up a simple order. I ordered a philly bowl and they forgot to add sauce so all of the toppings were melted to the bowl and I had to scrape pieces just to eat. I called the store to speak to a manager but was told there wasn't anyone available until tomorrow so I asked if they could remake my bowl but the employee insisted I call back another day when the manager is working. If a manager isn't going to be present then they need to train their employees how to handle simple situations or else they need to be present. read more

We used to get Marco's at least once a month at another location up in Lewisville because it was just across the street from our old apartment, but ever since we moved away, this Carrollton location has been more convenient... Yesterday night we ordered a medium speciality pizza (Chicken Florentine) and 15 bbq wings. It was super easy to order and everything was ready in 10 mins! The pizza tasted great, but the wings were shockingly mini/tiny. Remember, we have had these wings for years from Marco's up in Lewisville (big and juicy), so we were shocked when we saw these! Did they accidentally give us 15 quail wings of the size of my wife's small thumb? All 15 of them, bite-size, dry, like a cheap appetizer. No star there. The 3-stars are for the speed of the order, the pizza, and the customer service (whenever we ask, they always tell us what's the deal of the week, hence the specialty pizza). I was glad to see this Marco's newly opened not to far from me. I consider Marco's one of the better tasting pizza places around and this location did not disappoint. I ordered a small thin crust pizza half pepperoni, half mushroom and green olives. I ordered my pizza online and it was ready when I got there and it was oh so delicious! This is our local pizza spot, so we've ordered from them at least 5x since living in the neighborhood. Quality pizza, a large array of ingredients, and our pizza is always flavorful and hot (I'm obsessed with food temperature - it must be hot or I can't enjoy it!). We've found that Marco's is the best pizza in the area for delivery or pick up. Occasionally, they have deals and coupons, as well. Highly recommended! read more

We decided to give Marco's a try when we got a discount coupon from Grub Hub. While it was a bit pricey , with the coupon it made it just about right (10 dollars off). I came to our door hot and fresh, exactly as ordered. Had great flavor, and if I were to find fault, it would be that when we ordered a thin crispy crust online. After placing our order, we got a call stating that they don't have thin crust in X Large size. We were O K with the change, and it was very nice that they took the time to let us know before we got our pizza. The pie had plenty of toppings, and was very fresh. I will probably order from them again but I do wish their prices were a bit more reasonable. read more

FOOD POISON ALERT! We ordered Marcos pizza every week. It was our Saturday or Monday family meal for the past two years since we moved into the Castle Hills neighborhood on June 19. We ordered pepperoni magnifico pizza for the family and everyone experience, severe abdominal pain and food poisoning symptoms unfortunately for me, it landed me in the ER, twice what's worse about all of this is the general manager, nor the district manager had the decency to call me back to inquire about my family sickness and my ER visits and recovery. read more

Tried Marcos for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the chicken fresco and cheesy bread for delivery and the pizza was hot when we got it which was awesome. The ingredients tasted really fresh, loved how it had fresh tomato slices on it and the chicken was moist. Also, the pizza wasn't overly greasy either. I'm not a fan of when I pick up a slice and you can see a pool of grease under it (like Pizza Hut). I will say I was slightly disappointed in the cheesy bread, being from WI when you say cheesy bread I expect some ooey gooey goodness and it wasn't exactly oozing with cheese. They had a deal going on where you can get medium pizza with top toppings for $6-$7 so I ended up purchasing two medium pizzas (pepperoni and jalapeño + sausage and mushrooms). Pepperoni & jalapeño pizza- It was SO good! Fresh and tasty with the right amount of cheese and pizza sauce. The pizza crust was also crunchy but soft which is a plus. Sausage & mushroom pizza- This one was also very good. I got this pizza with Alfredo sauce and it was just as good as the pepperoni & jalapeño pizza. Customer service is awesome! Great new pizza spot off Hebron. Very clean and nice design of the restaurant. Got a large two topping pizza and the toppings and cheese were fresh and tasted great. I tried three dipping sauces; jalapeño ranch (good tasting dip), ranch, and their hot sauce. Hot sauce was good, I tried a little bit on my slices to add some spice. The taste is Ok but I could have certainly just get some bread and dip in a very marinara sauce and add some cheese and had the same outcome. I received an apology for how things were handled and was assured they do indeed care about their quality. We were refunded our money back and was told if anything is wrong the next time again to personally contact him. We agreed that at these times we do need to support small businesses. Marcos pizza hands down is our favorite pizza spot. We were sad when this mishap happened but were happy to be contacted for further discussion on the incident. He did bring something to my attention that I did not think about. When you are unhappy with a service and can't seem to get thru as I did when I called in. Do the company survey!! This gives the company the opportunity for the feedback to fall on someone's else's hands and a second chance for the company to follow up. If I ever have an issue like this again. I will make sure to call as I did and then do the survey before I leave a review. I will also either return and/or take picture of situation in the future as well. My intentions and well as I know other people intentions is not to hurt businesses. We just don't want to be or feel like we are being ripped off. Anyways... I've tried Marco's twice now, both times were amazing. You can taste the quality ingredients, especially the cheese. And when you ask for extra cheese, boy they do not scare. Not necessarily the cheapest in town but really not that more expensive than anywhere else. Every time it's been delivered superquick and super hot. I have yet to try anything other than the pizza but it will definitely go down at some point. Try it!! read more
