Ever since moving to this area, I've been coming to Paisano's for lunch once a week to get a small pizza.The pizza is always cooked the same way, and well. The ratio of sauce to cheese is great. The crust is flavorful and fluffy enough that I want to eat it all! The real stand-out here, though, is the people. For most of my visits over the last months, Mylea has been the one on the register. She's such a pleasant person to talk to, and so kind and considerate. I even got to meet the owner J.J., and he was running the register for a while. He's also a super-nice guy, and clearly cares about how his store is run. Thanks for all the great pizza, and the delightful conversations. Visited the Burke Virginia location around 2:00 PM today. There was some back-and-forth while ordering since the website wasn't working, and a simple misunderstanding occurred about the type of crust, I wanted thin and the manager heard hand-toss. When I tried to clarify the order, the interaction became very tense "no one is going to call me a liar", and *the manager* of all people chose to cancel the transaction and turned his back on me and walked away; "Have a good day" he said. I found this disappointing, as I was simply trying to ensure the order was correct and expected a more customer-focused approach. That said, I want to recognize that the rest of the staff at this location have consistently been friendly and helpful to me, and I've had positive experiences with the OTHER staff in the past. read more

Always order from them. Have never had any delivery issues and the delivery drivers are very professional. Sometimes the time says 45-50mins wait for delivery and I have had it delivered in less than the expected time frame. The cheese stretches farther than my paycheck, the crust is so perfect I'm convinced it was handcrafted by celestial beings, and the pepperoni? Am not a huge fan of their pizzas. Taste is subjective so it could just be me. Yet I definitely like their steak and cheese subs. These are delicious. You get a good value too, and the fries pair well with this. Definitely my recommendation is go with their sandwiches. Very clean restaurant. I like the employees here. All are courteous, and wait times aren't too long if dining in or going the carry out route. Parking here is plentiful also. Ordered a calzone for delivery and it was really good! I created my own and added pineapples, jalapenos, and sausage. I liked the marinara on the side to dip with - wish they included more. The bread was pretty good - slightly crisp and chewy. I liked my calzone, but could do without the ricotta cheese and felt like it could've used more mozzarella. I'm just here for the pizza, no literally!!! Stopped by here after visiting CAVA to pick up a pizza. I was able to walk right in an order without any issues. About 15-20 minutes later, the gentleman who rang we up walked the pizza over to the table I was at. Easy enough! The gentleman who assisted me was nice and did not rush me while I contemplated what kind of pizza to get which I appreciated. I tend to stick to the BBQ chicken pizza on a pick up order. The flavor is always well balanced so you get that perfect combo of pizza and bbq . The chicken always tastes good too! Nicely flavored and never dry. The inside was clean with plenty of seating if you decide to dine in. I have noticed that all the locations typically have the same set up and the same wall decor. I ordered wings, boneless wings, fries, and pizza. The wings were very large, meaty, and delicious! The hot buffalo sauce was just the right amount. It could have been a bit spicier but then I love my food SPICY! The boneless wings were delicious and very juicy. The pizza was the best I've had in a while and definitely the best in Burke. Our food was delivered quickly and still hot. Overall it was a very good surprise - definitely exceeded what I was expecting (based on my experience with Pisano's in Alexandria and Pisano's in Bailey's Crossroads). Placed an Uber Eats order. After an hour wait and four drivers abandoning the pickup, the order was cancelled. I called and asked about the issue and the employee told me they "never received the order" so it "wasn't their problem." Apparently all four drivers had asked about the order and were told the same thing. There are two events captured here. I'm giving up on this location. I would rather order from Dominos at this point. They need to get their act together. Event 1 - last night. I put in my order at 5:53 PM. The Paisanos website says it will be delivered between approximately 6:35 PM and 6:45 PM. At 6:39 PM I get a text from Doordash (??) saying that "your order from Paisano's Pizza - Burke is being delivered at 7:24 PM" I ordered through the Paisanos Pizza website the same way I always do. This means we didn't get the food for 90 minutes (!!) after ordering. This is crazy. It was not disclosed that Doordash was going to be involved and 90 minutes - 45 minutes longer than their estimate - is bananas. As you can imagine, the food arrived cold. Event 2 - back in February. This is the email I sent them which they haven't responded to: ----- Hello - I wanted to relay an experience we had at Paisanos Burke on January 15th, 2023. We were hosting a sleepover for the neighborhood kids, so we ordered a pizza, a catering tray of chicken tenders, and some other stuff. It was pickup order #103, placed at 6:28 PM. I got there at ~ 7:03. The food was ready but I didn't see the catering tray of chicken nuggets. The person I talked to (NASA hat, but I forgot to get a name) said sorry, but the cook was new and didn't get the order right. So I sat down and waited for the catering tray. At 7:17, someone asked "sir, what are you waiting on?" and I said I was waiting for the catering tray. It turns out that no one had actually started on the catering tray. I asked if there were any chicken tenders in the order from before, and the person in the NASA hat said yes, but it was probably only 4 or 5. I said okay, I still wanted the catering tray, but I was going to take the pizza and the other stuff back home so that the kids could start eating. So around 7:20 I left to go home and drop off the food so far. Then I went back to Paisanos to pick up the catering tray, which I picked up at 7:38. * There weren't any chicken tenders in the first order. It wasn't that the cook had made a small number of them because they were confused. They hadn't made any, at all. The person at the front got confused by the cheese bread and thought they were tenders. * By the time I got the order home, everything was cold, because I had stayed an extra 15 minutes waiting for them to get the catering order done. * The person at the counter offered me a 20% discount. This was a $98 order that we had already tipped $19 on (because we like to support our favorite local businesses). We have been in Burke for almost 6 years and we order from yall at least monthly if not more. I didn't get home with all of our food until an hour and twenty minutes after we originally ordered. Is a 20% discount really the best you can do here? Forgetting the tenders once is one thing - forgetting it TWICE is pretty inexcusable. I want to state really clearly that everyone was really nice. I don't have any issue with any of the people. But you have a broken process somewhere for this to be possible. ----- read more

I gave a two for the store at 5765 Burke Centre Pkwy. because when the order is correct it's pretty good food. The last 3 orders have not been correct. It's not rocket science, gather the food, put it in containers, deliver it to the customer. The last 3 orders have been incorrect food and/or substitutions that were made without notification. It's very disappointing to odrer from a place that I like and have the wrong thing delivered. The latest order was for pickup. My wife picked up the food and the order was botched again. I don't know if it's just this one store, but if it isn't, service is Paisano's problem, not their food. I sure hope this gets the attention of the owners. I am sure they won't appreciate losing business over something they should have been doing. It's hard to give a tip in these circumstances but I do anyway. I actually can't speak much to Paisano's pizza, but we order other things from their menu -- pasta, cheese fries, steak and cheese, wings, etc -- from here every once in a while, and while I can't say they've reinvented the wheel or typically blow me away, the food is generally solid and the delivery is always quick. In fact, my last order, which I did through the Yelp app, quoted me an hour for the delivery but it arrived piping hot in half that time! I was very pleased with their rapid delivery, and it definitely won lots of points for future ordering. The only issue food-wise that we've come across is that their chicken parm isn't really a typical chicken parm -- they use like the shredded grilled chicken that comes on their pizza instead of a breaded chicken cutlet. Just something to consider if you're a chicken parm traditionalist like my husband is, haha. Also, their jalapeno poppers are just stuffed with cheddar cheese, not cream cheese like you might expect (but they're still good -- they're also fully breaded.) read more

My wife and I were looking for a quick bite to eat after some shopping and we decided to give Paisano's a try. I have only been to one Paisano's and it was not very good, so I was expecting a mediocre experience. I was completely surprised by pretty much everything. The restaurant was very clean. Throughout the meal the workers were constantly cleaning the restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly, which is something I did not expect. They took our orders, brought out or food and checked up on us throughout our meal. Finally the food was great. I'm not sure it is because we ate it there but everything came out fresh. The garlic knots were great. They had enough garlic on them, without being too potent. The cheese fries were just what we were craving. The did not put too much cheese and bacon on the fries. I was shocked by the amount of bacon they put on the fries. Finally the pepperoni calzone was excellent. They put enough filling in the calzone and the outside had a nice toasted crust. I was shocked by overall experience at Paisano's Pizza. This experience has given me a new respect for the chain. read more

But this place seems to be very popular in the area so, first I don't think they are threatened by feedback, and second, I feel I should let others who have not tried it but have been told it is worth it, that it ain't. So we ordered their thin crust pizza and as first-time customers we also received "dessert", which was fried dough. Geez, thanks a lot. As described earlier the crust was crispy like a stale cracker, The tomato sauce tasted like cooked canned paste, and the cheese was, well, it was nothing terribly bad. This location does not have good customer service. When you call to order, they won't tell you the specials for the day. They tell you that you HAVE TO order online to get any discounts. Really? That's not a good way to get and keep customers. I hung up and went to Squisito's in Lorton instead.
