Marcos is one of those great pizza chains that slips under the radar for us. We have a location right down the street and we end up forgetting it's there and how good their pizza really is. Marcos, like most pizza chains is really geared toward take out. They have some booths and high tables though so we decided to eat in. If you decide to eat in as well, they only have bottled sodas available. The cooler was full of 2 liter bottles too but I did notice they had individual size bottles but they just weren't cold. While ordering, the employee let us know of a special on their Magnifico style pizzas were $3 off so we went ahead and got one plus one of their buffalo chicken Pizzolas since she said those were only $5 extra with our pizza. I liked the idea of the Pizzola but the buffalo chicken filling was sparse and not as flavorful as I would have liked. Still, we really enjoyed the pizza. The sauce was particularly flavorful and my husband is a pizza sauce lover so since he liked it, that says something. We were the only customers to dine in that night but they had plenty of drivers going in and out delivering orders so they were still busy. The dining area was kept clean too which is something that often gets overlooked with places that are mostly take out. I will be returning to Marcos for sure. read more

Today seemed a day for an Italian Sub so I settled on this place. It's a small place is a small strip center of Jonestown Road, across from the new City BBQ. There are only 3 booths and a couple of tables, little or no ambiance here - most definitely a take out spot! I ordered the 6" Italian Sub and a Chicken Club for later. Neither sandwich was good. The Italian was really a bit strange. The meat was not of a good quality, the photo clearly shows that. The toppings were obviously placed in the roll and then all was toasted, the hot tomatoes, banana peppers, and onions were not a good taste. The Chicken Club was even worse. As you know out in Lewisville once it hits 8-9pm everything and I do mean everything is closed or about to close. I was visiting friends and got in off the road later than expected. We decided to order out and discovered this Marco's was one of the only pizza joints open. I found this Marco's via the Yelp App and also made my order through the Yelp App as well and it couldn't have been simpler. We ordered two pies. The first was called "The Works Pizza" which is pretty much a Supreme Pizza with Italian Sausage added to it. The 2nd pie was called "The All Meat Pizza" which you can guess is a Meat Lovers. Delivery time wasn't log at all. Maybe about 30 minutes which is pretty good for this neck of the woods. Upon arrival both pizza's were built very well with the toppings evenly spread across the entire surface of the pies. I thought they looked so good they could have been used in a promo. The the dough was fresh and the toppings were also high quality. Dinner was wonderful. Last but not least the drivers (there was two in the car) were friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again in the future when I visit Lewisville. An easy 5 stars. read more

The first time I ordered Marco's I did so online and noticed there were several deals available, not only as a first time customer, but anytime you use their app you'll often find specials that you not would come across in store. In addition to a variety of pizza choices they also have pizza bowls, subs, salads & few sides including cheesy bread, wings and cinnasquares which taste amazing! You can opt for delivery or pick up in store. Either way prices are reasonable and food is consistently good no matter what location I've ordered from. I highly recommend this location over all others. While I live closer to the Marcos on Reynolda Road (only 5min from my home), I have not been pleased with them. The manager of the Jonestown location has been extremely pleasant, goes above and beyond to make sure I am happy and continually exceeds my expectations. I discovered Marco's specialty pizzas a couple of years ago. Since I never order from any other pizza place. My granddaughter, grandson, and I have tried their vegetarian, pepperoni, and chicken pizza and they were all fantastic! Great service and kind staff!! I am grateful for their service!! We placed an order at 12:30. Our order arrived at 1:45. We are about 2 blocks from the store. Our subs arrived barely warm and burnt to the point that they were not edible. I called the store at 1:50 to let them know. They said they would make it right. They said the problem was they only had one driver and they got slammed. Our new order arrived at 2:10. And not much better. Plus our order wasn't duplicated so none of the side items were included. I would not have rated even 1 star if given an option. The photos are from the orders. The pizza here is really great! They put plenty of toppings and the dough is fluffy. The bottom crust is crispy. You have an option of adding seasoning to thr normal crust. Hands down the best pizza in Winston-Salem! We had never ordered from here but my husband works nearby and had mentioned how good it was to me on a few occasions. Once we moved to the area we tried Marco's and now we order nothing else! It is by far the most delicious and best pizza around. They are always timely, friendly and efficient. I like Marcos pizza over the other chains. However my big reason this is my number one go to for pizza is their service. Consistently great service and always polite. Several times I've seen them hold the door for customers who have a lot of food. This most recent time a customer had an sling on her arm and the staff helped her out the door with her order. This is definitely my new favorite pizza place. It beats out Pizza Hut, dominoes, and papa johns. Let's start with the simple pizza. The pepperoni was amazing. Not overly sauced an not dry. Cheese was hot and fresh. I don't even know how to describe the crust. It was just the best. The other pizza I got was there cheesey pizza. It had bacon, mozzarella, gets, onions, and tomatoes on there. It was so flavorful I actually froze the leftovers so I could have some more later. Service was great, other than a few hiccups with the ordering, but this is a brand new store (two days open) so hiccups An learning new systems are to be expected. These guys are great. The Pizza, It is good pizza at a good price. They follow instructions as far as how you like it. I come from Chicago and the number one thing that drive me crazy is no one knows how to cook a pizza. I actually was told "If my kids see browned cheese they will not touch it" unreal!!! I order from here all the time. Food is always hot, fresh, and not over/undercooked and delivery is always super fast. Its literally perfect every single time. The only reason why this didn't get all 5 stars is because i always have problems with online ordering. Your app doesn't recognize my address when i sign in to my account but if i continue as a "guest", everything works fine. Like i said earlier, i order from here all the time and just thinking about all of the rewards points i missed out on makes me sad. I have to let coupons expire all because of the address thingy.
