Came here while visiting Portland. Amazing breakfast, good prices and service. Must try the hash browns.

Fantastic local diner. I ordered the special, jalapeños, bacon, omelette. I'll come back every time I'm in Portland. Great vibes and community feel.

This might just be my favorite sit down breakfast place in town! The space is small and cozy, we were lucky to be seated immediately when there can be long waits at peak times. It feels very vintage inside with lots of interesting decor. The menu is expansive and has something for everyone, plus they have lots of interesting specials. When we went they had a cookies and cream muffin, a pumpkin fritter French toast, a couple of kinds of quiche and one or two other items that I can't recall. My omelette was delish and perfectly prepared, my husband got us the pumpkin fritter French toast to share which was luscious (as my grandfather would say). Everyone at our table was super happy with their meal. Coffee was typical diner fare but that's fine with us. Portions are hearty, the price is right, and service hit the mark. If I'm having breakfast in my town, it'll be Marcy's or Henny's!

Stop by if you're in the area! We're glad we found it. Quick, delicious food and the wait goes by fast! We loved it!

DELICIOUS comfort food Easy going, friendly staff Cozy environment My friend and I decided to give Marcy's a try, since we both love breakfast and surprisingly, neither of us have tried it yet (surprising because we are both living and from Maine!) We were directed to two bar stools at the end near the grill when we walked and and I couldn't have picked a better location for us. I could watch the magic on the grill and be away from the traffice coming and going in the front door. I absolutely loved everything I ordered, which was: Grilled Blueberry Muffin as an "appetizer" and then I had the number 7 meal: 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, corned beef hash, hashbrowns - SOOOO GOOD, perfectly cooked. I also ordered a pancake to share. It was thick and delicious. I took some of that home along with sausage. My friend ordered the french toast meal and loved it. She couldn't finish everything, so I took her leftover french toast. YUM!!!! I can't wait to go back. Thank you to the amazing Marcy's crew for making it a pleasure to dine there!

Had a fantastic brunch at this throw back cute diner. I ordered the veggie omelette that was delicious, home fries cooked just how I like it. My girlfriend said it was one of the best pastrami's. She's had in a long time. The table shared the gluten-free donut pancakes all I can say was oh my God delicious! I recommend this place if you're looking for a diner experience

Looking for a new spot to check out for my wife's birthday breakfast and this was the spot she wanted to try! It did not disappoint and thanks to getting up early and it being Decemeber we had no wait, although by the time we were leaving all the booths were full and some families were waiting. So expect a possible wait but I would say worth it based on the food! It's all you can ask for in a local diner. Small little booths and two sections of a bar top with the old school stools. They serve breakfast and lunch all day and have special boards for both breakfast and lunch! The breakfast menu had exactly what you'd expect a diner to offer! Everyone should easily find something they enjoy. The staff were friendly enough, but the only negative I would mention is that our server seemed much more friendly to every other table than to us. Just in the sense that it seemed to be more natural conversation and they seemed interested in talking to others. For us, it was more of a get it over with vibe. But, won't really let that factor into my rating as it seemed to be a small thing. My wife got the Number 4 and loved it, French Toast was on the colder side than we expected but wow some real tasty French Toast! I got their spicy pepper jack omelette and it alongside the hash browns and raisin bread were so good! The food is 100% worth coming here for especially if you want that small local diner vibe! I would enjoy coming back regularly to see and try their daily specials!

A great place for classic diner style breakfast food. It can be busy on the weekends, but was worth the wait. I highly recommend this place.

Friendly people. Good music. I love breakfast food. This place slaps. Really feels like a place you can read a paper at the counter over a breakfast plate. Vibes are immaculate

The service was great. Very attentive and efficient. The food was as great. My party had a variety of items, from the beet & goat cheese salad, deviled eggs, pancetta and Brussels sprouts, cheeseburger, and BLT with Lobster. Everything was high quality and delicious. The fries which came on the side of the burgers and sandwiches were also excellent. The restaurant has a nice outdoor space but the weather was a little rainy the day we went so we didn't sit outside. I do suggest they add more barriers and greenery/plants to separate the beautiful outdoor seating space from the parking lot across the way.

We ordered the surf (scallops) and turf, lobster roll, and pasta for my 6 year old. The Scallops was cooked to perfection. You can choose between scallops, lobster, or shrimp as your surf protein. The lobster roll was great. They accommodated my 6 year old flavor profile and gave red sauce on the side. Aside from the food and space, Mark and Celine exemplify the epitome of hospitality and service recovery. There was a minor hiccup during our meal. And Mark, the manager, went above and beyond to amend the mistake. Thank you Mark and Celine for a great dinner after a long day exploring. My daughter couldn't stop talking about the cookies and chocolate ice cream.

So, we decided to sneak over here after a busy morning at the lighthouse with our toddler for a nice, filling lunch before a later flight home. We must've gotten lucky on a Sunday bc our wait for three people was about 15-20 minutes quoted and we spent 10 minutes walking the block to entertain our toddler, came back to check-in and our table was ready! yay! We had a great table in the corner by the window which was excellent with our toddler. Our server, Brian, was wonderful and super friendly. Menu isn't huge but, has enough stuff that should be able to please most. We chose a small fry with the daily dip which was almost like a mayo-based honey mustard dijon and was delicious, with ketchup and vinegar for dipping. Fries were crispy and delicious. We got the green salad and the Cuban to split and loved both. The sandwich was delicious and the green salad was light and refreshing with some really yummy herbs on top to include fennel which isn't usually on a salad but I loved the taste for this one, worked perfectly with the dressing. My husband ordered their house-made cherry soda and let me tell you, best cherry soda of my life! We ordered two bc I drank about half of it. They have a charming outdoor patio area with about 3-4 other tables. Charming spot - def. recommend! Wait can get super long - by the time we left they were quoting over an hour for a table since it's smaller inside and large parties can take up almost all the spaces.

We are so lucky to walk up at 8 pm and get a table. Not any table, but next to the kitchen. It was so awesome to sit there and watch their masterpieces come to life. The amount of pans and flames on the fire was pretty cool. We waited a bit for our waiter, but once he arrived he was attentive and did well. Bread service was delicious. Butter cokes our very cold, we used the candle to warm it. They wait staff got a chuckle out of that and said rush cooks give us melted butter. Ha ha We ordered the grilled octopus as an appetizer. Deliciously prepared and cooked. Mmmm. I ordered the special--Tuna Ragu My husband sword fish Swordfish was a little over cooked but the flavor was very good. Fish. Delicious. Now let's talk about the tuna Ragu. It was the most delicious strange thing I've had yet on this trip. My Brain was like... why is there fish in this pasta and my tastebuds are like who the heck cares this amazing. The homemade pasta was delicate and fluffy yet cooked al dente and soaked up all the sauce/gravy. The tuna had a slight fish taste, but it was fresh- perfect and not over whelming. There had to be a spicy sausage hidden in there because every other bite was bursting with a spicy hint. Absolute perfection! They tried to give us the dessert menu, but we were so full. If you can get in on a walk in night. Definitely do it!

The waitstaff was professional and helpful with menu choices. For a summer night, we found the menu to read more like middle of winter, with heavy food choices including steak, shepherds pie, meatloaf wrapped in bacon, and short rib. While the food is very good, I expected a menu with lighter summer options, maybe incorporating more veggies. Nonetheless, I ordered the short rib which was served over mashed potatoes and spinach. The piece of short rib itself was huge and very tender and flavorful. I was disappointed that they have decided to not serve bread with the meal anymore. It's bread. And for the price we pay for a meal, a few complimentary pieces would have gone a long way. Now, you need to pay for bread if you want it. I also wanted a small side salad with my meal, and not the entrée sized salads available on the menu. Our server was able to give me a bowl of Just greens dressed with their phenomenal vinaigrette dressing. It hit the spot. My husband had the flat iron steak, which he felt was good, but not great. The piece of steak itself was on the smaller side, and he was not a fan of the potato hash or parsnips. Again, heavy winter meal. He did order a side of the mushroom risotto, which was probably one of the best bites of the meal. It was out of this world! This was a good meal, but overall not a great meal. I hope they can pull it together. Maybe the lack of a full house at 6 pm on a Sat summer night should be a call to re-look at what could be improved.
