Lobster Croquettes
Clara G.

Came for Miami Spice with my family. For starters, the service was excellent. They start you off with warm bread which was yummy. I got the lobster croquetas, lemon herb quail, and pistachio creme brulee. The food was pretty good, but nothing memorable. The portions are a bit small. My partner got the blue cheese steak and it was tiny! He was still hungry after. My mom got the crab stuffed salmon with the strawberry risotto. It was good, but it was a bit strange. Overall, the food is good but it seems confused. We couldnt pin point what type of food it was, and it just seemed like a fusion of all types of different foods with no real theme or direction.

Marfil Bistro is a nice Mediterranean restaurant in Doral. Came here before going to play pickleball with some friends for happy hour and we were underdressed. Our friend didn't forewarn us about the type of restaurant we'd be going to but, regardless of not adhering to the dress code, we had a great time. The staff was super nice and very attentive! They have a great happy hour that is every day from 4-7pm, that has 2 for 1 on select drinks and $8 tapas. We ordered a good amount from the happy hour menu and each got our 2 for 1 drinks. Luckily you can mix and match these and they were good size drinks and pours. The food was pretty good so I'm curious how it is to dine for dinner here.

Doral has lately become a favorite spot to meet and hang out with friends. Marfil was recommended to me by a friend, so we decided to try out their happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Their drinks are buy one get one free which is a unique deal to see. I had a lychee martini which was very refreshing to drink. Their HH food consisted of $8 (each) empanadas, mussels, calamari and tequenos. They were tasty - very nice to snack on while you sip on your drink Service was nice, I appreciated that they were accommodating to any food allergies and recommended alternatives Towards the end of happy hour there was live music playing and our happy hour experience couldn't have been any better This restaurant would be great for a date night out or for friends to meet for happy hour. Worth trying out!

Todo estuvo bien. La comida deliciosa. El "short-ribs with parmesan risotto" es de deguste obligatorio para cualquier comensal. Ademas pedimos "parmesan gnocchi" with added chicken.

Hit the spot! Marfil Bistro in Doral is a hidden gem! I visited at 3 PM and enjoyed the place all to myself. The food was exceptional, with vibrant flavors and beautifully presented dishes, from appetizers to dessert which was my favorite The service was amazing--attentive and friendly, making me feel valued. The inviting ambiance, with its cozy decor and soft lighting, added to the experience. Overall, it was a delightful afternoon, and I highly recommend this bistro for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience. Perfect for solo visits or intimate gatherings!

Marfil Bistro in Doral is a stylish spot with a relaxed, upscale vibe. Perfect for Sunday lunch. Service was warm and fast, and our waiter made the experience smooth. We enjoyed a perfectly cooked filet mignon, a flavorful seafood casserole, tasty appetizers, and took advantage of their BOGO happy hour wine. Great food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere - definitely worth a visit!

This place is gem in Doral. It doesn't look like much from outside but once inside, you get the ambience. The food is so delicious and the service is on point. It even has private dining. Love it!

I have nothing negative to say about this place. It was my first time dining here with my sisters and parents. We are all in town before we fly out of Miami for vacation tomorrow. My sisters live around the corner and we decided to come here for dinner. We had the goat cheese balls and carpacchio for an appetizer, I had the braised short rib and it was the best I've ever had. My family had the salmon dish with squid ink risotto, pappardelle, salmon farfalle, and caprese penne. All of it was amazing. We had the flambé dessert and 2 bottles of wine, as well. Our server (I think his name was Ronaldo or Rolando- apologies- I didn't catch it) provided the best fine dining experience with awesome recommendations. I've worked in the service industry for almost 20 years and he knows what good service is!

Que tal el lugar? Y la relación precio-valor?

El lugar bonito, el joven q nos atendió fue excelente , pero dos horas para un almuerzo fue demasiado tiempo

WHAT A RIPOFF!!!! This place sucks. Ordered a cafe con…read moreleche, two chorizo empanadas, two chicken and two beef empanadas and two strawberry macha for $80.05!! $80.05??? Yes, $80.05. then, the great service! NOT!! They gave our drink order to the group that ordered after me. It was classic, the guy ordered the same three drinks I ordered plus four other as they were a large party. He's not even done paying when I see the lady put my drink order on the counter and tells him "the rest of your drinks are coming up" I was like 'what?' I watched as he grabbed my drinks and passed them out. As I walked up to the counter and asked the lady where are my drinks, since I ordered first. She looks at me and then at the other guy and says "oh, I have them to the wrong person" laughs about it and then, with a straight face tells me "as soon as I finish with their drinks I'll get yours, their order is using up the coffee machine now" No I'm sorry, no apology of any kind. So to wrap up, super way overpriced, the cafe con leche (Latte) was weak and it was more foam then coffee and they gave me the wrong size, paid for large received the small. When I went back to let them know. They said I would have to wait until they finish with the other orders. I was already 40 minutes in this stupid place. So I asked her to refund the difference and she said that she can't do that. WHAT??? EVERYTHING (did not try their pastries) IN THIS PLACE SUCKS, THE SERVICE, THE EMPANADAS AND THE LATTE AND MACHA! Eat there at your own risk or if you don't mind throwing your money away. I couldn't even take back my tip, which starts at 18% What a way to start your day, pissed because of no one likes to be robbed first thing in the morning.

It is a really cute breakfast place, and feels like an easy option to bring people if you are visiting the area. I really liked the special that they were running, which was a salmon and egg croissant sandwich. There were lots of buttery layers on the croissant, and there was plenty of filling. Plenty of seating inside, and larger portions. Everything was pretty yummy! I didn't try their coffee or other drinks, but if it is anything like the food I would wager it is a solid choice. Service was a little slow, and it took a bit to get our check. But our food came out super quick and was well made. I definitely think it is a solid breakfast option if you are in the area and can see myself coming back to maybe try one or two more things on their menu.

He reminds me of Carmy from The Bear--passionate, hardworking, detail-oriented, and completely dedicated to creating an amazing experience for every customer. On our first visit, we ordered the breakfast sandwich, the Banana Walnut Pancake, and two iced lattes (one with 2% milk and one with oat milk). Everything was outstanding. The breakfast sandwich was packed with flavor, the latte was perfectly balanced, and the Banana Walnut Pancake was on another level. The combination of caramelized banana, toasted walnuts, and their smoked maple syrup was absolutely RIDICULOUS. We loved it so much that we came back just two days later. This time, we shared the breakfast sandwich because we needed to save room for more pancakes. We ordered the Lemon Curd & Blueberry Pancake and the Brunch Still Hungover Pancake (their espresso-inspired pancake), and somehow they were even better than we expected. The Lemon Curd & Blueberry was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced, while the Brunch Still Hungover was one of the most unique pancakes I've ever had rich coffee flavor without being overly sweet. That's the magic there for me, you might look at these pancakes and assume it's "too much" or might be overwhelming but the flavors are so perfectly balanced, it's a darn masterpiece. What really made the experience special, though, was the owner. He took the time to chat with us, explain the inspiration behind some of the menu items. You can tell this isn't just a restaurant to him, it's something he's genuinely passionate about. That passion comes through in every plate that leaves the kitchen. The staff was warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. In a city where brunch spots come and go, Jealous Fork feels like the kind of place that earns regulars. At this point, our goal is simple: keep coming back until we've tried the entire menu. As I'm writing this in deciding to go back to try the burgers..BRB

As for the French toast, I really enjoyed this dish, the only sad part is the bread used is really tiny and was expecting something more from a bakery so that kind of threw me off. On the bright side the prices here compared to other spots is a big plus though.
