Went there as a group of six. Good was okay, nothing to write home about. Was warned about the up charge for additional chips and salsa. There are six of us and they brought out two baskets of chips and two cups of salsa! Placed our order and I asked if the guacamole came with additional chips. This was confirmed and the chips never arrived. Food is a three out of five. Not worth all the hype. Service was quick and our server kept our drinks filled. Received the bill and they do add a 20% gratuity to the check. So buyer beware! I can't say I recommend this place as the food is typical and nothing special. It's just regular Mexican food that is all over the area.

MEAL: Dinner ORDER TYPE: Dine-in MEAL PREFERENCE: Vegetarian MY ORDER EXPERIENCE: I have been thinking about going to this place for over a year and finally I got a chance to try the place. So, my friends invited me over and I just went with the flow and joined them. By the time I went in, my friends were already ordering drinks. I took my time to review the menu to order my food and drinks, but I could not figure it out, so I asked my server by name Sandy where she patiently explained about the vegetarian options and the ingredients in the dishes. After a while she came back to see if I was ready and based on her recommendation, I ordered Liberty Hill Lemonade as my drink and Spinach Enchiladas as my main course. Until the food was served, we were given, just like any other traditional Mexican restaurant, we were given Tortilla chips and marinara sauce for dipping. There was an interesting dish which my friends had been bragging about called a "Green Sauce" which was another dipping sauce for Tortilla chips. My friend advised me to just dip a little, but I thought I could manage any spice level, so I took more than I am supposed to, and I felt like California wildfires in my mouth. The sauce looked green, but it turned red. I have never had this spicy level lately, but it gave all my senses back. I enjoyed my Liberty Hill Lemonade (tequila drink) with the chips and sauces until my main course. After 15 minutes, our food was served where I was given deliciously looking hot Spinach Enchiladas. There were two soft corn tortillas stuffed with sauteed spinach, mushrooms, and onions topped with a cream sauce and Monterey jack cheese. On the side, I was given white rice and borracho beans. I asked for Spanish rice instead of white rice which they gave in a bowl. The Spinach Enchiladas tasted good and the cream that came with it was flavorful. I enjoyed every bite of it. The spinach rice was good and borracho beans were new to me. The food (cheese, tomatoes, avocado) that was served was fresh. Overall, the experience was enjoyable. I did not focus much on the ambience as I was engrossed in my food lol. Thanks to our server Sandy for all the patience and checking on us if we needed anything. The menu was printed on paper, and it would have been nice if they had signs to mark for vegan or vegetarian. The prices were reasonable, and the quantity of food was so much that we could not finish the whole thing. They have the finest homemade recipes that are made fresh every day. I will go back again to try out their other dishes. I would suggest this restaurant for people of all ages.

Not traditional Mexican. Not good quality. Ambiance is nice. Portions are big. Tried it twice, just in case it was a bad day.

I had been there before, but not my wife. As you pull into the parking lot, the exterior is simple and modest. The interior is neat and clean. Several TV's are scattered throughout the restaurant and were mostly showing the March Madness games. The volume was off and not annoying. The servers were mostly young females. Our server was extremely polite, using ma'am and sir. I was really impressed with her. Chips and salsa were replenished without asking, another nice touch. They seem to use a team concept. Chips were very good and warm. Salsa was very good. I had the spinach, mushroom quesadilla which was excellent. Wife had the enchilada plate (two enchiladas) that came with charro beans and rice. She indicated that they were very good. We ended up taking half home with us. Food and service were great. Again, I was surprised at how good the service was. I highly recommend this place for some really good TexMex.

The food was still great but I ordered Cheese Enchiladas Blanca's comes with sour cream sauce. I didn't get sour cream sauce. I was so hungry I didn't care. So my husband asked for sour cream for me and I ate everything on the plate. Coming on Friday music was loud and customers were louder when talking. But it felt cheerful and relaxing. I still don't have a complaint.

Not just another steak burrito, but one made "Baja Style", with Ranchero meat or similar. We've found something that comes close at Aparicio's. It's not your ordinary menu choices of ground beef, pork and chicken. First of all, customers waiting in line were raving to their friends on how amazing the food is. The quality, the service and the portion sizes. Taco prices are a bit higher than your average taco stand, but this is not a "hole in the wall" dive joint. The owners have made your experience here unique in the decor, yet the food served on homemade tortillas lets you know you're being blessed in the kitchen, by someone who cares. When we arrived we told them this was our first time. The host spoke to someone, and out from the kitchen comes a sample tray with five cups of food to sample. Carne Asada, chicken, pastor, chorizo and Pableno Pepper sauce. We ordered the Cali Burritto. A Carne Asada burrito with fries, pico, and other fixings. It was huge, even after cut in half. I opted for two tacos, pastor which came with a slice of grilled pineapple and Chorizo. Both served on hand made flour tortillas and they were great. We also got an order of cheese fries. A small bowl of McDonald's size fries with shredded cheese and a light cheese sauce melted on top. It was great, paired with a homemade jalapeño ranch sauce. Finished with a fresh strawberry horchata drink in a large mason jar and a mango melon drink. 6:50 each, yet well worth the cost. So if you're looking for something other than Tex-Mex fusion Mexican food, or if you're missing tasting real authentic Mexican food without having to drive to San Antonio, then drive on over to Leander. Once you pull into the lot, right of Smoky MO's just behind the jewelry shop. Enjoy! Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.
