Happy Birthday to Me Vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was fun sitting at the bar then waiting for a table. The atmosphere was energetic with the different televisions having sports on especially the Baseball All Star game. Good food and good conversation. The service was excellent. I made sure I got my t-shirt before we left.

This was a fun restaurant with a great indoor and outdoor vibe. On a busy spring break week, the wait for 3 was about 40 minutes. The outdoor bar staff, the hosts, and the servers were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had an entertainer making balloon animals waking around on stilts which was fun to watch. The server handled food allergy concerns respectfully. The food was gross. My daughter ordered the chicken fingers kids meal and it was dried out and did not taste good. My other daughter ordered Mac and cheese and it was noodles with shredded cheese melted on it. I ordered jambalaya and it was dried out, chicken and sausage tasted like it was over microwaved from multiple reheats. Food took about 40 minutes to arrive. For tourist prices, I expected better food. We paid and left our food and went to search for something else.

Love the vibe here really Jimmy Buffet chillville! Burgers were excellent, juicy and tender. Garlic aoli was so good! Fries were crisp. Drinks were not shy on alcohol but were well balanced and perfectly flavored. Highly recommend dinner and drinks here. One of my favorite restaurants in Myrtle Beach.

I realize this is a tourist trap but it's nice to sit at the bar and enjoy a tropical drink. We had the Havanas and Bananas and Ruby Red Renegade. It was 11:30 on a Friday. The female bartender didn't seem to want to be there. She barely engaged and wasn't the friendliest. The male bartender was more attentive and actually talked to us.

Everything came out in a timely fashion and was hot and fresh! Seated immediately. Service fast and friendly staff member.

Stay away from the Caribbean egg rolls, they was nothing Caribbean about them, Applebee's southwest roll are better. With that said the fish tacos and Asian chicken salad was good. Service was good, checked on you periodically without disturbing the meal. Ambiance was nice

My friend said she had a good meal here 10 years ago so we decided to try it again. Typical touristy place with food that "fills the hole" as my husband says about food that just satisfies hunger but is just ok. The best item was their perfect margarita. It was good but $14. I got the fish and chips ($23) and my fries were barely warm. I did point it out to the waitress and she brought newer ones... still not crunchy or hot.... but a bit warmer. My friend got the chicken stir fry which the waitress had warned her it was spicy... it wasn't AT ALL. In fact, it was sweet. There was only a tiny bit of rice. We were both disappointed. There were girls on stilts making balloon animals. One girl was in a skirt and I thought that was tacky since folks could likely look up her skirt. At the end, the waitress asked us to please give her a good Google review so that she could get a free T-shirt and handed us a QR code to scan. Businesses are basically bribing their customers or employees when they do stuff like this and skew their ratings. This skews the review from being honest as the customer feels like they should "do their server a solid" by giving a good rating or by not wanting to affect their job. It seems I've heard of this happening more often with Google reviews - that's one reason I don't trust Google reviews. Yelp is more honest IMO.

The food was great. Our waitress was training, and you'd never know! She was superb! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks!

Menu entry that states a 3% charge does NIT apply to cash debit or gift cards

Besides the food and service being absolutely terrible, management decided to charge a 3% fee if you paid with a debit card, despite the fact that it is printed on their menu that a fee will not be charged if you use cash, debit card, or gift card. When confronting the floor manager, she insisted that there was nothing she could do about it and pointed to the receipt which had printed on it that a 3% charge would be charged to any debit card with a logo of Visa or Mastercard on it. When I informed her that every debit card has a logo of visa or Mastercard on it, she still insisted that there was nothing she could do. I insisted that she take 3% off the bill which she eventually did after me arguing with her about it and telling her it was illegal to be charging a fee for using a cash option specifically printed on their menu. Now to the food and service... I was in a party of five and no one was happy with their food. I waited over an hour for a taco bowl that was served with dry lettuce, and what seem to be canned chopped meat that was absolutely tasteless. When I asked the waiter if I could get a side of sour cream he told me he had to upcharge me for it. When I asked if he thought it was right to charge me after I waited over an hour for my meal he decided not to charge me for the sour cream. I've had taco bowls in plenty of other restaurants, and none of them were ever served dry with absolutely no nothing added to it like a spoon of salsa or guacamole or a dollop of sour cream. His excuse for the slow service was. " aAter you came in the upstairs got really crowded and we're shortstaffed.".. so in other words if you get here first you get served last because another section had more people in it What a horrible place and definitely a tourist trap! I'm a local and would never recommend this place to anybody.

Came to Myrtle for the day and walked all over Broadway and decided to stop here grab some late lunch before heading home. It was prob last couple calmer days before spring crowds come hit the area and not as slammed busy which I was happy for. Lucy was our waitress and she was very sweet and helpful. We were seated as soon as we walked in. It was around 2 pm and a beautiful warm day. They had not opened outdoor seating yet but we got a great view by window. I recall seeing the hurricane thing before but still very cool to see if come down and fill the blender lol.. my son got a burger and cooked to perfection he said. I got the coconut shrimp and boy they were huge! Half size of my hand!! Very flavorful! Came with a spicy sweet dipping sauce I couldn't get enough of! Lucy came by frequently to make sure our drinks were full and we were happy with our choices. We had very nice visit today .

Margaritaville Myrtle Beach SC 3-2-25 We had to try this one and it did not disappoint. We arrived on a Sunday around 12:15pm and this place was just about full, but we got seated right away. I love the decor and it had such a great vibe with Jimmy Buffet music playing in the background. Our waiter Joesph was fast to get our drinks. I ordered the Chipotle Steak Bowl with extra Steak and my wife got the Beach Club with Fries. Our food came our fast enough and it looked amazing. My Steak Bowl was hot and very tasty and plenty of Steak in it which was done to perfection. My wife's Beach Club was huge and very good, her Fries were terrific. We had to get a to go box as we could not eat all of it. I must give this place a 5 out of 5 stars because of the tasty food great atmosphere and good service. I can't wait to go back. The food was delicious. I had the Jerk salmon. It was cooked so well and the glaze was spectacular. Paired with some rice and good greens (spinach) it was a fresh taste. The service was excellent and the ambiance was such a treat. Good vibes overall and good food 8/10.

My wife heard about Coastal Vino via a FB group called Pelowinos and we figured we'd stop in for a drink. We are wine drinkers with fair to good knowledge about wine and were immediately impressed by the convivial and knowledgeable owner and master-of-ceremonies, David Coy. This is a wine shop/bar. When we arrived, there were friendly patrons at the few outside tables who pegged us for tourists (non-regulars) and made sure to point us to David inside. It was busy but we were able to get stools at the small bar. David asked us about our preferences and explained pricing and how one buys the bottle vs individual glasses to drink in-shop. Fellow patrons were very complimentary of the owner's knowledge and recommendations so we decided to let him choose a red for us. He chose an excellent Spanish old-vine garnacha. Perfect choice for us and we sat happily chatting with his friendly customers. The environment was part Cheers (but with wine) and part speak-easy. People were surprised that we stumbled upon this place and teased David about his store's countrywide reach. It was very friendly and welcoming considering many were regulars and local. Very fun and what a wine bar should be. Needless to say, we left with 3 bottles, two opened (which is allowed) and one recommendation that we decided to carry home. As a wine shop, it is well curated. You will not see the "plonk" that fills most other shops (and largely pays the bills). What you will find is a wine lover's oasis with quality selections from storied wine regions and some little known gems that David is happy to key you in on. As an aficionado of wine shops, I could easily tell I would like Coastal Vino and having a guy like David in your back pocket for recommendations is golden! I wish I was local because I would be there every week. If you are in the greater Myrtle Beach area, this is a great place to find fellow wine lovers and good bottles. Bottles seemed to be $20 and up. This isn't Total Wine ( thank God). This is a place for aficionados and aspiring wine lovers who understand that well made wine doesn't have to be expensive but isn't cheap. Coastal Vino strikes just that balance in an area ripe with possibilities. If you visit once, you will visit often. Cheers to David and his lively patrons!

In general, the food was good and the staff was friendly. During my two-day visit I had two meals there. Tried the Grilled Tiger Prawns, Soutzoukakia, Beet Salad, Maroulsalata, Pastichio and Spanakorizo. 1. The tiger prawns came with four pieces. Tasted fresh but a bit too salty for me. 2. Soutzoukakia was basically lamb and beef meatballs. Compared to Kofta in Middle Eastern cuisine, these had more flavors from meat but less from other ingredients. Served over tomato sauce. 3. Beet salad had generous amount of beets, but the arugula tasted just-out-of-fridge; it was very cold and crispy, lacking the flavor of fresh arugula. 4. Maroulsalata was a salad with chopped (green) romaine, green onions, dill, crumbled feta and lemon+EVOO dressing. A light dish perfect for pairing with their meats or (heavy) pastas. 5. Pastichio, the Greek style Lasagna, is a classical. It was my first time to try it and it tasted fantastic. It was an ~4 inch square piece of layers of hollow pasta topped with ground beef, a thick layer of bechamel, and topped with graviera cheese. Unlike meat sauce, the ground beef was "dry", but this was OKay because the bechamel would smoothen everything. In general rich in flavor and creamy and definitely filling. 6. Spanakorizo was like risotto or porridge but perhaps had even more liquid. It had Arborio rice, spinach, herbs and Kefalograviera cheese. The staff were friendly. They recognized me when I had my second meal there, answered my questions about the menu patiently, and explained to me about their tips (I will discuss this below). The dishes were served in reasonable time. The vibe was definitely at the higher end among the restaurants in Myrtle Beach; plus it was not crowded at all. Despite the good food, you should be careful about the tip. Their suggested tip percentages are calculated based on the taxed price; e.g. if you select the suggested 18% you are actually tipping more than that.
