Such a great birthday restaurant! Our server Anthony was great. Would definitely recommend, ambiance was wonderful
I visited this location on a business lunch, and I was blessed enough to be able to taste several dishes. We started off with salads and the crispy broccoli. All of these were delicious, but the broccoli was my favorite. The flavor was so delicious. While we waited for our main dish, I ordered a passionfruit margarita and an espresso martini. Both drinks were very delicious and refreshing. My main dish was the salmon with black rice and an amazingly delicious avocado mousse. While the salmon was delicious, the star of the plate was the avocado mousse. It had a lemony taste that was perfect. We tried a variety of desserts including the tiramisu, cheesecake, and flourless chocolate cake. My favorite was the cheesecake. The chocolate cake was good but a bit on the too rich side. The restaurant itself has a nice view inside. I'm glad I was able to taste the food here.
I've been to Margot in Culver City three times : 1/25/2025 & 5/20/2023 & 4/21/2019. Each time I visited, I had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful atmosphere. It's truly a perfect spot for a date night, with a great ambiance that makes the experience even more special. The service was also very friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The food here is consistently delicious. One dessert I highly recommend is the Flourless Chocolate Torte with Nutella crème fraîche and toasted hazelnuts. It's absolutely delicious--an absolute bomb. As an appetizer, I also really enjoyed the Pan con Tomate (grilled bread, fresh tomato, ricotta, and EVOO). It was so fresh and tasty. The last time I visited was on January 25, 2025, and below is what I posted on my Instagram that day: I went to Margot in Culver City for the third time, but I was disappointed that the dish I always enjoyed was no longer available. I really loved their Bombolotti pasta, but since it was gone, I tried a different pasta that the waitress recommended as a similar option--but it just wasn't the same. However, the flourless chocolate cake was absolutely delicious. (Saturday, January 25, 2025)
Made reservations for dinner with friends on a Friday night and we were seated immediately. My party ordered the Arancini, Charred Broccoli, Steak Tagliatelle, Seafood Risotto, and Pappardelle Bolognese. The arancini and bolognese were pretty standard dishes. Good but nothing spectacular. The risotto was good but I'm not the biggest fan of risotto in general. The steak was delicious with the chimichurri sauce; however, the steak itself was a little disappointing for how expensive it is. For $70, you would except it to be tender, but it was pretty tough and hard to cut. The real highlight of the dishes was the broccoli. I didn't know broccoli could be that good. The restaurant is on a rooftop, giving aesthetic vibes. This restaurant is more on the pricier side, and you are paying more for the view than the food.
I'm not sure why Margot has such a low rating on Yelp. I recently went back for the first time in a long time. I was in the area and although we just had drinks it was a lovely experience. The staff was friendly and the surface was fairly quick and very attentive, the ambiance was amazing as always. You have to take an elevator up to the third floor, I personally love when you can look down at all the string lights in the area below even while seated inside. This is the perfect spot for a date night, drinks with friends, or showing somebody who's visiting in town a cool spot near the Culver City/Palms area. I'll definitely be back to try the food again, but from what I remember years ago the food was pretty good too :)
We got the pappardelle and steak tagliata The pappardelle was delicious. I like bolognese so this was what i was looking for. I personally didn't like the steak and wouldn't recommend. It had a weird herbal flavor for me? Service was good and standard. We sat at the outdoor rooftop on a sunny LA afternoon and it was great vibes.
I have been wanting to go to Margot for years. I finally had the opportunity to go last Tuesday when I met an old friend for dinner. I was worried about parking but actually it was so easy to find a place where to park. My friend found a spot on the street and I parked on the parking structure across the street. Margot is a beautiful restaurant, the patio is amazing, I loved the decoration and the vibe. We were seated at the patio just next to a big heater which it was great., specially if you always get cold like me. This heater helped me to enjoy the beautiful ambiance of the patio and view. We shared the hamachi and charred broccoli, I basically devoured both. Then I ordered the salmon with wild rice which was outstanding, my friend ordered the gnocchi but I forgot to ask about his verdict. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which I loved. I will definitely come back If you haven't tried Margot, you have missed out a lot.
This is a new favorite dinner spot for sure! The patio on the roof is nice and has a good view of the Platform in CC as well as surrounding areas. The service was quick but not rushed making Margot a great place for a gathering. The food was excellent. All of the ingredients were so fresh and the flavors were unique and addicting. The drinks are also tastefully crafted. Margot is on InKind if you're looking for a deal, which came in handy for my dining group!
On Easter, 7 of us went to have lunch at Margot in Culver City. Our reservations were for 1 pm and my sister and I parked in the parking structure across the street from the shopping center where the restaurant is located. It was easy and not expensive to park I think it was $5. We were surprised to find that it was not crowded. Walking through the shopping center to the restaurant was very nice, with lots of cute shops so give yourself time to look around either before or after your meal. The entrance to the restaurant is really pretty. We even took some photos of the sign walking in. The indoor dining area is light and bright with lots of natural lighting. We requested to be seated in the patio where there were plenty of umbrellas for shade and nice views of the surrounding landscape. We were promptly greeted by our server and we ordered drinks. Service was not rushed nor was it too slow. I ordered the Utopia, a mocktail... and I have to say it was the best I have had. Not too sweet and looked very pretty with jalapeño dust on the side of the glass. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a non-alcoholic option. All of the other cocktails ordered by our party were equally enjoyable. We ordered several appetizers; the oysters, the hamachi, the charred broccoli and the arancini. All of the appetizers were delicious. My favs were the hamachi and the charred broccoli. I ordered the spicy meatball sandwich for lunch. It was tasty but I found it a bit dry. I probably wouldn't order it again but I brought half of it home and my boyfriend loved it. My sister ordered the fried chicken and she raved about it. I didn't hear any complaints about the other dishes that were ordered. I have included pictures of everything that we ordered. I would definitely go back and we all enjoyed our time, meals and drinks. One thing to pay attention to is the 4% restaurant fee, which the check states is optional and will be removed upon request. We chose to keep the fee and just adjusted the tip accordingly.
We had a very nice dinner at Margot. The food was excellent and service was friendly and efficient. Our server was on top of everything and she took great care of us. The restaurant is contemporary and it was very loud. In my opinion it is much more of an adult atmosphere and I did not see any children. The cost my pasta dinner should have been $10 less as $36 for the pasta dish, in my opinion was a bit high. But it was excellent and I did enjoy it. I think the portion size might be a bit small for a hearty eater though. Also expect to spend at least $10 or more to park. I have never seen restrooms like they have. They have several private rooms and a communal area to wash your hands. It seemed to work very well.
Long story short, avoid Margot, and it's on the NOT RECOMMEND list! Ambiance 4/5: it's a cozy and quiet restaurant located on the third level inside the shopping mall next to the metro station, stylish decorations and spacious indoor and outdoor dining area, clean individual restrooms Service 2/5: friendly although very slow, it took a while to get water and food served, I felt being rushed for eating there, our plates were taken away after we put down the utensils and paused a bit, despite there was still a bit left on the plates to finish, it's not like during rush hours people waiting for tables or they were closing for the day, you really don't have to rush your customers Food 1/5: simple menu items for food, not that many choices for both lunch and dinner, their food seems not meeting the sanitation requirements, unfortunately, both got stomach and diarrhea issues after eating here ham and burrata sandwich - ** serrano ham, local burrata, arugula pesto, flavorless sandwich pappardelle - *** ragu bolognese, meat sauce was good, but pasta was undercooked and on the chewier side Price 0/5: small to medium portions and slightly overpriced for its quality, expect about $40 per person. I feel this place is entitled and sneaky, be aware of the 4% restaurant fee, which you wouldn't be able to see the breakdown until you paid the bill, neither the server mention anything before we paid, nor it's not written anywhere on their website or menu. Even though it's optional and can be removed as shown on the receipt, how would you be able to do that without knowing its existence and seeing the term at the first place. We ended up paying more than expected, literally feels like tipping 24% instead of 20%. To be clear it's not about money, I'm okay tipping more or less by my own choice, but I'm definitely not okay being tricked by their shifty system. It could be worse, as this additional fee without advance notice, charged by the restaurant may not even go to the servers in the end, objectively their menu price is high enough to accommodate their mediocre food, business doing things like this won't last in the long run, as it's hard to retain returning customers.
I've been to Margot many times over the years, and my favorite dish is the broccoli. Other items I typical get include: Steak and eggs - part of the brunch menu Broccoli - this is my favorite, it had an excellent vinaigrette yogurt dressing and there's something crunchy on top (I think fried quinoa) that really adds to the overall texture Ora King Salmon - the salmon itself is excellent and melts in your mouth. I especially like the crispy skin on the salmon. The seasoning is simple but good. I'm not a fan of the side salad and sauce that comes with it though. Atmosphere is excellent and service is fine but can be slow sometimes. I like to sit on the patio area, especially on a warm night. My rating is just for the food.
The cuisine is a mix of Californian-Italian-Mediterranean, and everything I've had is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is hip, trendy, and upscale, but without feeling pretentious. They have large windows, setting the perfect vibe for either day or night dining. You wouldn't think frayed black rope hanging from a tall ceiling would look cool in a space, but it works here. The bathrooms are individual stalls (my preference - I don't want to hear other people using the restroom) and they have my favorite Aesop hand soap! We all had a drink and shared 4 small dishes + 1 entree, and it came out to ~$79 per person for 3 people. We were easily able to make a reservation for Margot on the Resy app, and we were able to specify that we wanted to sit in the indoor dining room since it was cold outside (although I love the vibes on the patio). For parking, we self parked in the lot right across the street (8850 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232) and walked through the Platform shopping center. To get to Margot, you take the swanky elevator (hidden in a corner, next to the jewelry store Catbird) and go to the top floor. I loved everything we had and would repeat this exact order again. Here was our order: Yellowtail crudo ($26) calabrian kosho, radish, citrus. Refreshing, citrus-forward, perfect texture. I loved this so much that next time I would order both crudos to share. Patatas bravas ($16) crispy fingerlings potato's with smoked paprika aioli on the side. Yummy for anyone who enjoys potatoes. Wild arugula salad ($20) with hazelnuts, vinaigrette, thinly sliced apples, and Manchego sheep cheese. Light & delicious. Charred broccoli ($24) with garlic yogurt, black garlic vinaigrette, feta. It didn't say it on the menu, but I'm pretty sure it's topped with quinoa. An absolute must order. For our entrée, since we were already on a seafood theme, we went with the Ora king salmon ($38) with black rice, avocado mousse, leeks, and serrano aioli. House Cocktail: The Hugo ($18) with elderflower, Prosecco & mint. Non-alcohol Mocktail: Arancia Spritz ($14) Lyre's Italian orange non-alcoholic spirit & soda. Leaning sweet without being overpowering, served in a fun glass.

This is a Foodies Paradise. And the jazz bands they have are fun. From the yellowtail crudo to the black truffle arancini everything was top notch here. Definitely impressive! read more
I had a team building event here. Margot offers a chic rooftop dinning experience and a menu inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. We got almost every tapa on the menu and enjoyed every one of it. My favorite was the patatas bravas - the potatoes were cooked just right where you can taste the crisp. I really want to like the prime strip loin but it was just a bit too dry for my palette. The tiramisu was a hit for our group. The ambiance here is boho chic making it perfect for a casual dine out or a date night. Recommend to make a reservation on weekend nights! (: read more

I stopped by last weekend weekend with a couple friends for a quite bite and a drink. This place is definitely giving date night vibes. The interior is beautiful, very well done. We sat outside in the lounge area. It is very chill and has a more relaxed atmosphere. The food was really good! I ordered brava potatoes and grilled prawns. The potatoes were extremely hot, like fresh out the oven hot. My drink was also good. Our server was extremely nice. She overheard we were celebrating one of my friend's birthday and she brought us a round of champagne, courtesy of her. That was really sweet! I have no complaints about anything. I will definitely be back, but next time I'll come with my husband instead of my girlfriends. read more

I was starving and went over to Margot with some friends, the location is convenient to where I was at the time. Initial thought when I got off the elevator was how nice the hostess was, he was super inviting and very accommodating. We ordered the short rib sandwich and the spaghetti. The sandwich was packed with flavor. The spaghetti was good but for $26, I would like more than 4-5 bites. The service was okay - she didn't come around much and we we're ignored by the bartender when wanting to ask about a drink. The ambience is so romantic and lovely! Right next door to downtown culver but you can see all the new developments and the metro tracks. The service is on point and the food is delish! I have come here while waiting for my car service during brunch and this time for dinner- simple straight forward menu. The steak is alway tasty and the cocktails are delectable! Great ambiences in the evening - they even have heat lamps outside if you sit out and it's chilly. Service is great and can't wait to go on my next dinner there again! read more

I love the atmosphere of this place! You have to take an elevator to get up to the rooftop where the restaurant is the decor inside of the elevator chic too! Because we came on an odd hour, nobody was at the host stand to see us when we arrived, even though nobody was at the restaurant. We had the flag down someone to be seated and he seated us promptly. The menu was short and to the point there weren't many options for lunch, but the options that they did have were very good. I had the salmon with a tequila liked cocktail, which paired great together. We thought that the salmon could've been cooked a little longer, but overall the pairing of the rice like mixture and the salmon with the aïoli sauce was so good. The only thing I didn't like about the restaurant was the bathrooms. The bathrooms are unisex, but individual stalls each stall has a toilet and a urinal with a sink inside. I thought that this wasn't a great choice because I find that men's urinals tend to stink a little more. I didn't like the fact that I had to smell man's urinal while I use the bathroom or that I use the sink inside of the stall. there are sinks on the outside of the stall so that you don't have to smell the urinals, but I didn't know that at the time. read more

We had the Easter brunch there today. The ambiance is amazing, the decor, the view, the service. However the food is subpar. The salmon portion was small, the fried chicken was over fried, the bread from the avocado toast was burned, the meatballs sandwich wasn't great either. The tomatoes were good. I wish I could give it more stars. read more

Margot is a restaurant that offers indoor and rooftop dining. The menu consists of Mediterranean cuisine, wine, and cocktails. ::Food:: The food that stood out to me was the House Made Focaccia, Citrus & Endive Salad, and Potatoes Bravas. I didn't like the main dishes. The quality and price was not worth it in my opinion. The Grilled Prawns with Calabrian chili butter and scallion ash was too charred. We asked for medium rare for the American Wagyu Zabuton and it was more on the rare side. Turns out you don't need a stairway to get to heaven...you need an elevator. One little ride up 3 floors and when the elevator doors open, heaven awaits. Food heaven. Ambiance heaven. Cocktail heaven. It's this casual chic array of smoked mezcál drinks, laughter, fire pits, gas heaters on the patio, vibrant convos, distressed wood, today plateware and pillows that look like they just stepped out of Apothecarie and the occasional hound sleeping on the floor next to it's imbibing master. Sorry to disparage the hound by calling it an 'it'. 4-some at our little indoor table amongst the din and clatter of a happily jumpin' joint. The EDM / electronic music was spot on...made me want to feel present and somehow 10 years younger than I am. I may have gotten there with that smoked mezcál. Food heaven started with shareable CHARRED BROCCOLI. It's sports garlic yogurt. Yep, it's a thing. All I can say is, if you've read to this point, just order it. Do that right now. Main courses consisted of TAGLIARINI, BONE-IN PORK CHOPS and RACK OF LAMB. All A+. Dessert: TIRAMISU TRES LECHES, CHOCOLATE TORTE and VEGAN COCONUT SORBET and a DOUBLE ESPRESSO for good measure. Beautiful rooftop, great food and service. The winner was the yellowtail crudo! Then the truffle pasta. Little gems are a always great company. I don't like olives but their olives were so good. We also tired a eggplant starter, which has nuts in it. So good! Such a great place for friends gathering or date night. read more
From the ambiance, to the amazing dishes, Margot is spectacular! The restaurant has an awesome vibe, with dim lighting and a beautiful patio with plenty of heaters. We were greeted by the friendly staff and seated on their awesome patio right away for our 9:30 reservation. The service was great. Everything came out quickly, was piping hot, and tasted wonderful. We tried a variety of dishes including the focaccia, pork chop, charred broccoli, tagliarini, and cinnamon ice cream. I can't say enough good things about the food. The focaccia was literally the best bread I've ever had. The pimento cheese and the eggplant dips complemented the focaccia perfectly. The pork chop was another one of my favorite dishes. It was cooked perfectly and all of the components worked so well together. The cinnamon ice cream was to die for! We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Abla and Chef Dave, who were so friendly and welcoming. Margot truly is a wonderful place to have a romantic dinner and delicious drinks. Had a splendid Saturday night dinner date with one of my favorite girlfriends here, and we both absolutely loved it! Margot definitely has all the sexy boho vibes- the aesthetic, the menu, the cocktails, just everything was gorgeous and sensual and yummy. The food: we started with the charred broccoli served with garlic yogurt, black garlic vinaigrette, feta and the house made focaccia bread that comes with a house made spreadable Spanish cheese dip. Omg. This could have been my meal. Both dishes were absolutely tantalizing. We also shared a pasta dish- the Campanelle, served with pesto rosso, zucchini and burrata. This was also delicious. Drinks: we had the bartender make us a spicy cucumber margarita- it wasn't in the menu but was divine. We also had the mock tail version of this drink made with ginger beer and jalapeños- this was in the menu. Both drinks were excellent. Over all, absolutely I loved this restaurant. I can't wait to come back with my boyfriend, maybe brunch next time. Come here for a date, with a group, on a special occasion, or anytime you want to experience something lovely. *parking is a little hard to find- Valet for Margot is on the ground level parking structure of the restaurant and you take the elevator up to the the actual restaurant. Margot is all looks, no filler. Three of us arrived for 6:30 PM reservation and were seated indoors, where the tables were put a bit close together and you had to weave your way through to get anywhere. Our server was nice and cheerful so that was a good start. Unfortunately the food was nothing to write home about and the prices were outlandish. - House made focaccia with roasted eggplant dip ($20) - the edges were burnt black which was unpleasant. The eggplant dip was good but there needed to be more. Go to Etta and eat their focaccia, which is $5 less and 100x better - Wild arugula salad with pink lady apples and manchego ($20) - this salad was fine, a bit one note for me - Charred broccoli with garlic yogurt, black garlic vinaigrette and feta ($24) - the best dish of the night, the broccoli was flavorful with a good crisp bite and the yogurt and feta was delicious. There was a sizable pool of oil on the bottom though - Bombolotti with wagyu bolognese and Parmesan reggiano ($40) - if that was wagyu, they cooked it until it tasted like dried out 90/10 lean ground beef. The sauce lacked depth of flavor and the pasta was too Al dente. There's no reason that this basic pasta dish should cost $40...pretty ridiculous. So yeah, if all you care about is a nice background for your Instagram, come here and enjoy the sunset view on the rooftop of Margot. If you want to enjoy some delicious food at a price that doesn't gouge your wallet, look elsewhere. read more

Came here to meet up with a friend. It was both our first time at this restaurant. The ambiance was great. We didn't know what to order so we asked our waiter for recommendations. He recommended the French toast and fried chicken. Amazing choice if you ask me. My friend and I split both of the dishes. The portions are big enough to share. When you have a small menu like they do, you expect every dish to be amazing. And that just wasn't the case at Margot. We ordered: - grilled asparagus (3/5): Pretty good and enjoyed the sweet caramelized leeks. The potato crema was interesting. - bombolotti (2/5): Very underwhelming. I expected more from a wagyu bolognese. The sauce fell a little flat. - bone-in pork chop (3/5): Sort of salty, but cooked well. I had sparkling water and my friend got hot tea (big easy). Dinner for 2 was $125 + tip. Validated valet parking is $5 or you can do self parking in the structure. I did not see the 18% service charge or 5% admin fee others mentioned before. The service was good and as many mentioned, it is a super cute place! I would check them out for drinks since the cocktails look unique. I would pass on doing dinner again though. The food at Etta & Bianca is priced similarly, but tastes better in my opinion. read more

I'm actually surprised at the lower ratings. This is one of my new favorite restaurants! The view alone is superb with the train coming by every so often. Everything ordered was impeccable. The iberico ham was OK but wasn't mad at it. Would come back again for sure. read more
Parking: They don't validate parking in the big structure. You can find free street parking a block down the street. Experience: You take the elevator across from Roberta's and go to the third floor. There's indoor and outdoor rooftop seating. I saw a lot of bad service comments in other Yelp reviews but we were a party of 10 and our service was good. Ambiance was great and you definitely need a reservation any night of the week. Food: We ordered pretty much the whole dinner and dessert menu and our favorites were: charred broccoli (it was that good), bombolotti pasta, rigatoni pasta, seafood risotto, cinnamon ice cream, tiramisu tres leches. I also liked the strawberry spritz cocktail. Everything was good, but portions are very small for the price or else this would've been 4 stars. read more
This restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Plateform. This place is stunning in design. It is stylish and trendy. I can see myself grabbing a drink after work or come here for a romantic date night.The hostess was welcoming. Our table was ready upon our arrival. My waiter was attentive throughout the dining experience. My short rib pasta was to dye for. Meat was falling off the bones and the favor was delicious. My friends brought me here for my birthday. I had a great experience celebrating at this gorgeous restaurant. Next time, I will sit on the rooftop to experience the Culver city 360 view. Thank you Margot read more
The atmosphere is pretty phenomenal. Great location at The Platform in Culver City (Note: Cute little plaza to check out with small boutique stores or grab some Van Leeuwen Ice Cream or Boba Guys after.) It's on the second floor so you'll have an elevated view that has the metro zipping by in the background. Food is pretty well made. Not a huge menu and pretty limited, but good quality items. My favorites for brunch were the French Toast and Poached Eggs & Polenta. The Pancakes were pretty similar to the French Toast and between the two get the French Toast! Also, Avocado Toast is really yummy here too so if you're feeling super LA try it out. The cocktails are pretty, but very minimal and not as potent as I would like. Overall, good place in Culver City to check out! A bit on the pricier side, but the atmosphere is worth it. read more
The Margot is really nice, great to impress anyone from friends, fam, or for business. It definitely gives more power suit or super fancy date vibes that said $20/drink does come with the territory. Granted the bartenders here are nice and are accommodating in recommendations the best drinks for your mood, and service is good. I've been coming here consistently for the last six months and it's perfect for all occasions! So they have seating inside but the outdoor seating is super cute. They have heaters so you don't have to worry about being cold. The drink menu is pretty extensive and they have good wine options along with non-alcoholic drinks that aren't just regular sodas. They have speciality teas! The menu isn't too overwhelming and can be shared or you can get your own dish too! My fav items to share are the focaccia, broccoli, and yellowtail crudo. All the pastas are amazing and it's great to share if you come with a group so you can try them all. Everyone here is extremely friendly from the moment check in all the way to the waiters who consistently check in on you. This will continue to be a regular spot for me. read more

The good things first: The decor, the grandeur of the ambience, the view outside as you watch the train pass by...absolutely great. The bad side: The food is too salty. I read another review about it and I thought it was just a one off, but it is not. The food is not only salty, it does not taste good. I ordered the squid ink and it tasted nothing like squid ink. I tasted the saltiness of the ocean. My husband ordered a bone-in pork chop, but there was no bone on it! The meat is more like a tonkatsu without the breaded coating. My friend ordered the salmon and I saw how she forked around the salmon and I could tell she did not like it. The waiter who took our order lacked the politeness you expect if you are paying $18 for 4oz. of wine. The waiter was also dressed like he was just another guest or diner in the restaurant. We dined in here to celebrate my husband's birthday. Just a simple yet special dinner with a friend of ours, we asked the waiter if they have a free cake, he said no but he can put a candle on it. We were okay with it and we ordered coffee as well. The waitress came with the flourless cake with a candle on it and she was so awkward bringing it in ...I mean, I cannot describe that exchange but the staff lacked the training from the people who run this establishment. On top of the bad food and the staff, our check was $282 plus tip. Which I am okay with if the food tasted great and the staff were polite and gracious...but they were not. I had so much high hopes when we booked our table but from the other reviews and our experience last night, I have a feeling Margot will close their doors soon. read more
Vibe: cool, hip, modern industrial, LA. Nice place for lunch Marinated olives:excellent Arugula salad: exceptional Avocado toast: beautiful and delicious Certainly enough to share for lunch. Do know that they add an extra 18% service charge to your bill. read more

Are gluten free pasta noodles available as a substitution option for the pasta dishes?
Is indoor seating better than patio for an evening?
While I have only been there for lunch, I always perfer the patio when weather permits. They do have heaters on the patio, if needed.
Is bar seating open?
I wouldn't recommend that, when we had our advance reservation, Margot called to cancel our reservation while we were driving to the restaurant.
Do they take walk-ins right now or is it reservation only?
They take both. Reservations preferred due to wait times on weekends.
What vegan options do they have?
They have a very small vegan Option of basically salads.
Does Margot have live music now during covid with only patio dining ? If so which days?
No live music currently. They do, however, have plans to start back next year.
Is this a kind of place where guys can wear proper suit?
I'm sure lots of men come here after work in their suits. It's a hip spot.
Is patio better or inside?
The patio! However make sure construction from the building across the street is done.
How do you make reservations for a party under 15? The automated system is terrible
I used Resy for a party of 11; no issues. You do have to give a credit card to reserve but can cancel up to 24 hours in advance.
Is it fun for a birthday celebration? Do they have music on Thursday night?
It is perfect for a birthday! Beautiful spot, good food, nice atmosphere, and they do have live music many nights of the week and a live jazz band during Sunday afternoons. I would call to double check Thursdays. Open until 2 AM daily.
What type of music is played in the outside bar?
On weekends we have been there is a lovely 5 piece Big Bang style. It's quite lovely!
Do they have parking?
Yea free valet in the garage only for Margot patrons. I guess just tip payment if you please.
Do you allow dogs during brunch?
Yes, I have been there with my dog, a big doberman, and they welcomed her with love and fresh water. We sat outside though, and normally that's the rule, dogs have to be outside. But it's a rooftop so you will enjoy being outdoors!
Do they only take reservations or can you just walk in?
Seating areas in the bar for walk ins.
