We ordered takeout for their Tuesday BOGO special. Got a 16" Della Casa (Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions and bell pepper), and got a 12" cheese pizza for free. The Della Casa was delicious with all the right quality of a pizza (thin crust, fresh ingredients, thick and bouncy edge). The only downside is it's a bit more saltier than I would like. Overall pretty good deal with $28 for two pizzas

We love going to ritrovo for a cozy dinner. I have been many times and especially like the Bianca pizza and the agnolotti. You get fresh bread and olive tapenade to start when you sit down, which is always delicious. Today we tried a different item, the lasagna and the red sangria. The sangria was light and slightly bubbly and came in a large wine glass. They use the wine glasses with thin glass which is my preference. The service is great and the food comes out fast consistently as well. We have definitely been sleeping on the lasagna, it came out not as a dinky slice on plate like some restaurants, but in a baking dish so you get all of the amazing sauce and crispy edges. The lasagna was bubbling and almost overflowing, so it was a large portion. We dug right in and were very satisfied with the indulgent dish. Overall we very much enjoy eating at ritrovo.

We went here for a Valentine's Dinner and was pleasantly surprised! I didn't want to get caught in the stress and hustle and bustle of overcrowded Valentine's reservations. I'm so glad we found this humble little spot that was okay still taking last minute reservations and walk-in's. Luckily we beat the rush and was able to enjoy the cozy interior, service, and decent classic Italian dining service for a date night out! We ordered pappardelle and a shrimp risotto which I loved. The pappardelle bolognese was pretty generic. We shared a bottle of red wine. The arugula salad was nice and salty with shaved cheese on top and a generous portion. What I most loved was the live music guitar player playing songs that I recognized and loved and fit the cozy ambiance on the outdoor patio with heaters. I'm glad my boyfriend and I had an easy neighborly experience here and avoided the rushes. A great little spot in the area if you're looking for a good little pasta date night out!

Solid 3.5 stars I took my friend here to celebrate her birthday We had reservations at 7 Upon walking in there were a few patrons both inside and outside the restaurant The host asked us if we wanted to sit inside or out and we chose outside given. It was such a beautiful day/night. We ordered the prosciutto and mozzarella starter the arugula salad, and the steak to split The host was nice. The server was very sweet and the meal was pretty decent. The prosciutto mozzarella, fig and balsamic dressing was a delightful mix Arugula, artichoke Parm salad was lemony and refreshing The mustard dressing for the steak was good and well with the potatoes and the garlic green beans they served. The only downside would be the steak being cooked more medium well than medium rare Overall, a decent experience, but again not a restaurant that I would prioritize going back to

Our server Austin was fantastic- very friendly and hospitable. Loved the location and quaint atmosphere- makes you feel like you're a part of the "fam". It's quiet, clean, and very relaxed in the surrounding area. It allows you to just be present and enjoy a good meal. The pizza was perfect - great sauce to dough ratio- we were both very pleased and they allowed us to split the pizza with cheese & meat. Not featured was the arugula salad with artichokes that was simple yet really well done too! Can't wait to come back again! New fave!

Got charged full price during happy hour. We came in for happy hour and we were not charged happy hour prices. We asked the waitress to update the check and she would not cause apparently she put the fill sized item in the computer...? She never asked us about full size or happy hour size and we assumed we would get the happy hour prices and sizes displayed. The Gnocchi pesto and both our drinks were on the happy hour menu.

    Is the pasta homemade?

If it wasn't home made, I'd be surprised. I went with my Croatian friend and she asked if the cook was Italian because the food tasted exactly like her mom's cooking.

The menu was smaller than expected. Our group of four shared the caesar salad, meatballs, pepperoni pizza, and roasted mushroom pizza. The appetizers came out quickly, but the pizzas took a while due to what seemed like a miscommunication. They were waiting for us to finish our starters before bringing them out. The pizzas were easy to share, though a bit salty. The pepperoni pizza also had a few overly burnt slices on the bottom. Service was a little confusing. We ordered at the register, had to flag someone down for water, and weren't quite sure if it was self-service or not. Overall, the food was good and the patio has a great vibe, but it's not a spot I'd go out of my way to revisit.

People have their pizza preferences and styles and New York style is mine. Really takes me back to when almost every spot in NY tasted like this pizza. Not the world's best, but a great slice with great sauce, toppings and the perfect thin crispy crust. This was only my second time trying Prime, but was the second in two days! My first visit in Brea was good and I knew I would love their pizza, but the slices were a little dry from sitting there (was 3:30 pm in a Thursday). This time I ordered the whole pie so I can try it fresh and that was the difference. My GF confirmed it. Now there are two pizzas in LA I love, but the one that I think is a little better and starts with a "A" is in west LA and not easy to get to. Love that Prime has multiple locations and hope to try them all. Service at this location was also great and fun to interact with. Lots of characters at this location, which I love too. Square pie is best I've had in LA, but round pizza is the one. Slices are good in a pinch, but whole pies make the difference. Parking is the only con here. I got lucky with street parking on a Sat afternoon after circling around the block once, but can imagine it could be worse. There are parking lots, but who wants to pay $10 minimum to pick up a pizza.

I'd suggest looking for street parking along 3rd St. if you can. There's also a parking structure nearby. The first time we came, we ordered a whole pie, half supreme and half BBQ chicken. It also came with ranch that tasted freshly made. The supreme was great. You could taste a little bit of spice from the sausage, and all the other toppings worked really well together. I also really liked the crust. It had a nice crunch to it without being too hard. Came back for a second time and got another whole pie, this time half supreme and half white. The white pizza was good. It had fresh mozzarella, garlic, and seasoning on top, and the crust was just as good as I remembered. I think adding something like mushrooms would make it even better. It is pretty cheesy though, so I could see more than one slice being a little too much for some people. The supreme was just as good as the first time. I'd definitely keep coming back. I think next time I'm going to try one of their square pizzas.

The pizza here is so killer, I was nodding my head(Yes!)as I was eating it. I rarely do this. The crust was so thin, the cheese had great flavor, and the cupped pepperoni added a salty richness. Every bite was chewy and a flavor blast. It makes you wanting more and more.

The…read moresicilian was not cut properly - the top was cut through the pizza but not at all through the crust. The sicilian was also strangely salty as far as the sauce and I don't know why. The regular cheese pie I got, which I assume has the same sauce on it, did not taste salty or odd like the sicilian. Their Monday deal of a XL cheese pie for $15 is a great deal. Now the few not so good things this second time. There is no parking. They have a small alleyway with maybe 6-8 parking spots on the side of the pizzeria. Considering the place was pretty empty when I came midday but the lot was full, I have to assume staff take the spots. No street parking. You're supposed to be able to pull out of the alleyway by going forward and turning into another alleyway that crosses the parking alleyway. Unfortunately, there was a motorcycle someone was working on or just left there so you could not get past the bike and the car parked in the last spot. I had to back out onto the busy main street, which was dangerous. Also annoying is that the menu has zero prices, and it's not like the girl at the counter knows the prices. She had to punch in whatever I asked the price to on her tab in order to give me a price. When I asked how much for toppings added, she couldn't give me a concrete answer. Even more frustrating is that the prices on your bill will not match what you were quoted. I think what they quote is the price plus tax, and then the bill has the real prices and all the tax bundled together at the bottom, so it's near impossible to figure out the cost of each item. Who doesn't have a menu with prices?! I do not like this!
