Honestly some of the best mexican food I've had besides my mothers. The food here is very authentic. The woman who normally is there is such a sweetheart. My boyfriend and I love picking up food to go. They also do delivery! We've only dined in once and it was actually outside. They have two tables right outside to sit at and dine. They have your authentic mexican sodas such as jarritos etc and agua de horchata. The nachos here are awesome as well. We've had a few things of their menu such as the chicken fajitas, chicken quesadillas, and carne de milanesa plate that comes with rice, beans, and a small small salad. Even when we order for delivery we always get the complimentary chips and salsa. I could go on about this place. Haven't had a single problem with anything here. read more

Awful, just awful. I'm not sure how this place is still in business. I placed a pickup order. When I entered the restaurant to get my food, no one even bothered to greet me. I asked the waitress for my pickup order. There were several bags of food on a table. She grabbed a bag, tied a knot in it, and handed it to me. I asked if that was everything. She said yes, that's all. I got home and one- third of my order was missing. I called the restaurant and instead of an apology I get blamed! Not once did they say we are sorry, just kept saying it was my fault for leaving the food there. I asked for a refund and was told I had to contact Door Dash. To make matters worse the food we did receive was such tiny portions for the price. The taco salad was nothing more than a taco salad shell with lettuce a few tomatoes and thick chunks of raw onion. Nothing else. No dressing either. The burrito reminded me of one of the frozen ones they sell at grocery stores. The side of rice was maybe about four spoonfuls, and it tasted like soap. And to top it all off, I got sick that night with terrible stomach cramps and vomiting, considering that was my only meal I ate that day it's sufficient to say the food was BAD. read more

Had lunch here one afternoon with my mother and was surprised at how good this place is. It's kinda of a little place that doesn't stand out like a sore thumb but it's got awesome food. The salsa with chips to start was very tasty with a good kick to the salsa.. the tacos with bi steak were top notch and hit the spot. My mother ordered something that I do not recall the name but it was also outstanding. Service was great the waitress was very nice and polite. Price wise it was not expensive for a little place and way better then you would expect for what you pay. The food here is fresh and delicious! My friend and I each ordered the beef fajitas. The fajitas came out on a sizzling pan and the meat was well-seasoned and grilled to perfection. The portion size is reasonable, not too much food and not too little food. I like that everything tasted fresh and balanced out well (not too heavy). The flour tortillas were warm and soft. This place is great. It's really small and like I tell my friends: "it looks like it's an authentic Mexican Grandma cooking really good food in the back, and her grand daughter waitresses". Really though, every time I go there, it's the same lady working, and she is so nice! I make sure to eat here when I go to Atlantic City (it's only like a 10 minute ride). Very cute spot, I got veggie enchiladas with green sauce and guacamole to start. The guac was fresh and the enchilladas were tasty.

The complimentary chips and green salsa were the perfect start. The chicken a la mexicana was delicious with a good amount of tender chicken and seasoned veggies. Great place , its small and cozy ans the staff is friendly. The chips were just ok. You can tell they are made in house but were not served warm. The salsa was good it had a little spice and good flavor. I had the chicken enchiladas they were very tasty and the portion was nice sized. The green sauce was amazing and they had a good amount of cilantro in the dish which I love . The rice and beans were nice and authentic. The guacamole was fresh but lacking any pizzazz. Ok let's start this out with a little background. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and have eaten Mexican (both TexMex and further south) every week of my life. I grew up around Mexican immigrants eating there homemade grub. As for the traditional aspect of this restaurant, you would find similar at most of the thousands of Taquerias in Houston. I had the pollo ala mexicana and my lady had the carne asada tacos. Both were exceptional. I will be back and I will have the pollo again. The tacos reminded of the taco trucks back home and when I've visited Mexico. No lettuce and tomatoes or flour tortillas here. They are served in corn tortillas with onions and cilantro (traditional style). The green salsa mentioned by Lucas is tomatillo salsa (look it up Lucas) and is delicious and traditional. It tastes like the recipe I learned from my neighbor who is from Monterrey. Take it from me, if you want traditional Mexican don't pass this place up. Foodies in the area should be ashamed that this place was not packed for dinner. Don't let yet another hidden gem go out of business (it wasn't very busy). This place is the real deal for Mexican. Hands down the best authentic Mexican I've had anywhere. I go to Stockton and a friend told me about miriachi's so I decided Try it out. Perfect joint for good food. Nothing flashy, building is basic, one room with 7-8 plastic beer pong tables covered with a table cloth and the counter where the cashier/waitress waits. When we got there it was empty. We were given a basket of chips and homemade verde salsa on the house. The chips tasted home made as well. I got the al pastor y queso chimmychonga. It came with beans and rice, everything was delicious. Not sure what my buddies got but everyone was thrilled except for the one who does not like Mexican food, so I void his opinion. A Must try if you go to Stockton or are in the area looking for good Mexican food. My only regret is that today was the first time I've eaten Mariachis and I graduate on Saturday! read more

Well the chips were as thick as a 90 year old mans toe nails and the salsa was more of a salsa water. Pretty sure the salsa shouldn't be transparent and should have some kind of texture other than tap water. Refried beans should have a some what thick texture, (not these) they tasted like they were right out of a can of once cooked beans. They could have at least smashed them to thicken them up. Found this out of the way, easy to miss gem on our recent vacation. We went for an early dinner and had the place to ourselves for most of our meal. The food was excellent - my eldest son and I had enchiladas, my husband had the fajitas and my middle son had a chimichanga. There were even chicken tenders for my youngest who doesn't have a wide ranging palate. Service was attentive and the price was reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. Had we found this place earlier in our vacation I'm sure we would have eaten here more than once. read more
