The dentist and workers were nice and I was happy cleaning my teeth here while it lasted. However, I question the integrity of the workers. I was lured into having a cosmetic work done( fix a Crack on my molar)) which was in no way bothering me. Infact I didn't know I had a little Crack there until the dentist pointed it out. I was made to think my insurance will pay for the total cost until after it was done, I was given an invoice of 400 bucks. I was so livid. The receptionist insisted she told me about the charges which wasn't true. Why would I pay 400bucks out of pocket for a tooth that isn't bothering me? I paid but never returned there. If you have to use their services, make sure you let them know you aren't paying for anything unless you are well informed and infact given a written consent. read more

We moved to Buena Park in 2014, and found Dr. Buan at that time. It's now 2022 and we went from a family of two to now family of five, moved 23 miles away to Corona, and had many life changes- but we still return back to her office! She is just the most wonderful dentist I have ever had and worth the drive. She's great with my husband and I and our children. She is so quick and efficient, and we love her employees as well. I FINALLY FOUND A GOOD DENTIST!!! After visiting three different dentists and calling dozens I was referred to Dr. Buan by a friend. She is, simply put, an angel. Who knew a meat world referral would beat out yelp? I've been trying to get my mother in to get a couple of cavities filled, like, forever. I have related my troubles in detail in the reviews of those dental offices we actually visited. In short, overcharge, upsell and questionable competence. Dr. Buan did the work quickly, kindly and painlessly for SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS than the cheapest quote I got. She also apparently makes a habit of singing while she works, which mom found both amusing and soothing. Three cavities filled and my mom was tearing her way through a Portillo's beef sandwich not 20 minutes later. She couldn't believe how utterly painless the work was; she said her previous dentist hurt her more taking x-rays. The rest of you suckers can keep your "free" coffee mugs, cookies, lip balm, netflix and freakin' lanolin hand massages and pay out the nose. I'll take the skillful and caring Dr. Buan, her kindly staff and her fair prices any day. read more

Love this dentist. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They explain your benefits and they don't over charge. I've been here 3 times and I've only had to pay once, which was the deductible for a filling. Western dental charged me EVERY TIME I had a cleaning, which are free by the way. These ladies are honest and very professional. I highly recommend this place! read more

Amazing care and service! I highly recommend this Dental Office, located near Knott's Berry Farm. I had been meaning to try them based off of their positive Yelp reviews, but kept trying to give my old dental office chance after chance. Well after waiting an hour at the old dentist for my routine check up (only to be told I would have to come back at a later time because they were too busy to actually do my cleaning!) I decided to finally call Dr. Buan's. I had messaged them over Yelp in the past asking about wait times (even before COVID my old dentist would make my kids and I wait for appointments scheduled 6 months in advance!) and her office assured me they were efficient and prompt. They definitely are! Not only could they see me and my children right away, there was no line of patients waiting like my old dentist (such a risk with a pandemic going on), we simply called from the parking lot to make sure they were ready for us to come in. They even let me come in early to fill out the new patient paperwork. No problems with insurance (they take Delta Dental) and the nicest touch: they gave me a goodie bag (toothbrush etc) after my cleaning. I thought this was sweet because usually dentists give those to my children, but never think of the mom! :-) All in all I HIGHLY recommend scheduling your next exam with them. They will not disappoint. read more

Not a good place to if you need a lot work done. For root issues, they will refer you to someone else who can actually do the work. My experience tells me is they don't care as much for the patients well being as much as these reviews indicate. For a ppo dentist, we should all expect better. read more

Dr. Buan's office is pretty much the quintessential dental office experience. She's fast, humorous, and sweet. Her staff is just as nice and supportive. They take care of you here, but I suppose the downside is that it's primarily PPO. Still, appointments and great service is quite commendable. I was able to get multiple cleanings and cavities filled and I got a porcelain crown done in only two visits. One Saturday with a temporary crown, and the following Saturday with the permanent. I've never been fond of the dental experience, but the service here really changed my mind. Plus it's next to my favorite barbershop, which is convenient lol. She's also a great singer haha. 5 starssssss!!!! I am so excited to have found a dentist literally next door to me that was this great! This is a private dental office, so quaint, clean and personal. I loved it, the staff made me feel so comfortable and just like I was home. I got my teeth cleaned and I learned so much about flossing my teeth! My boyfriend also came with me and he hadn't had his teeth checked in a while, they didn't judge or anything and made us both feel soooo comfortable! I am so excited to go back, which is odd because if you know me I am nottttt a fan of the dentist at all!! I am so excited to get all my tether concerts taken care of. I just went to this dentist and I loved it. I have been looking for a long time for a good dentist. I have gone to several places but I always felt that they were over priced and were a little sketchy on what they say I needed done. This place it the complete opposite of that. I felt very welcome form the beginning. They have very friendly staff. The doctor seemed very kind and did not make me feel bad about not flossing :). She showed me the cavities in the mirror and did not pressure me to get the work done. She gave me a very good price since I am a cash patient. I think I finally found a dentist that I trust and that I will go to for years to come. read more

Amazing, pleasant, and spectacular work! First time here and the staff were simply welcoming with a great attitude. I wish I found this place sooner! My front tooth was chipped and the dentist put a filling on it, with a smooth finish! Then Dr. Buan fixed my back tooth that was bothering me, with just adjusting my filling versus saying I needed another crown. Great energy here.
