My family has been going to Myrtle Beach every summer since before I was born and we've always stayed across the street from this restaurant but never tried it! We really wanted pizza and Dominos and Pizza Hut were options but I decided to look up the reviews for Mariner Pizza, since it's right across the street. I saw how great the reviews were and decided to try it...and we loved it! We were so surprised how great the pizza was! Being from New York we are particular about our pizza and this DID NOT disappoint!! We will definitely get pizza from here from now on :) way better than any chain pizza! This place was located a few blocks from Ocean Dunes, which was where me and my boyfriend stayed while our time there. After a 10 hour drive from Jersey we were definitely hungry, so we decided to just walk down Ocean Blvd and see what eats there was. It's a very cute little place, which was what first attracted me to it and made me curious, and we also love pizza and was curious to try how they make it down south lol. We got the House Pizza which is topped with sausage pepperoni onions mushrooms and bacon, and it was actually pretty good. We got it to go but there are a few tables and chairs to sit outside. The only thing good about it was the bread which was above average, I'm a bread guy. The amount of meat and cheese was pathetic and the meat was salty oh yeah lots of onions. I'm staying at myrtle for a week and it was the closest place to eat close to our room. It was pretty packed which I thought "oo maybe it has great food!" So me and my hubby ordered wings and he ordered a steak stub. Waited about 20 minutes for our food which was normal since it was packed. We walked back to our room and the wings were burnt to the bone. Literally nothing chewy. It was crunchy with every bite and If you're a wing lover like me you would know wings shouldn't be crunchy. I didn't even receive my ranch which I asked extra for. My hubby sandwich was cold. Like they took the steak out of the fridge and slapped it on. Couldn't even enjoy the bread on the sandwich it was hard like garlic bread. We paid 23$ for a cold garlic bread sandwich, hard fries and 5 crunchy burnt wings. Don't waste your money. read more

Serves ice cream till midnight, but went at 7pm, ordered wings and mozz sticks. Asked to order ice cream and was told the girls had to go outside to order and pay. 5 secs later they can't serve because it was a 30 sec drizzle. Sent us to basking robins when the point was we were a block away. Mozz sticks weren't good and ordered mild wings but they didn't tell us until pick up that they only have buffalo or bbq, not degrees of buffalo. Wings were ok as I don't like them crispy anyway. This is a small, side of the road pizza shop with very few other items on the menu. My family stopped here looking for a quick bite before going to the boardwalk. All the seating is outdoors, wherein you step in to a small ordering area, place your order then grab a seat outside. On the day we went there, one of the ovens was not working, and so we had to wait a bit longer to get our pie. The waitress, seeing we were with kids who were restless and hungry brought us out a few bags of chips at no charge. When we finally got our pizza, it was a bit on the oily side, but tasted delicious. Another great thing is that it's located right across the street from the beach and away from most of the tourist zones. The price was right also. Fed a family of 4, for under $20. read more

Nothing special at all. The kiddos like it. The breadsticks were not breadsticks, they were like grilled garlic biscotti. The pizza tasted like it came straight from the freezer. Ordered for a pick-up. Pleasant staff. Great tasting pizza. Crust makes any pizza and they have great crust. Only thing, and it's my fault for not asking is we got half pepperoni, half sausage. FOUND GLASS IN PIZZA!!! I went here based on reviews and initially thought the taste was good until my son bit into a piece in glass. I called to speak to a manager but there was not one there at the time. I told the girl on the phone and all I received was a "sorry". Nobody ever cared to follow up with me about the incident. The chicken tenders were big hunks of breaded and fried chicken breast that were tasty and juicy and came with a large helping of fries. The cheeseburger was large, with plenty of toppings and its own big portion of fries.
