    Happy birthday 2 me!
    Betsy S.

I went here to celebrate my birthday with a friend. Reuven was our waiter and he did a nice job. I ordered the lobster salad and a black coffee. At the end I remembered that they usually do something for your birthday so I asked ever so politely. We asked for a chocolate chip cookie and they added a candle and I ended up taking it home! I always love their popovers and the little broth that they are known for. Makes you feel just a bit special!

What inspired me to eat here? I got a perk card and decided to try the restaurant! Mariposa is located inside Neiman Marcus on the 2nd floor near the home section and elevators. As soon as I was seated I was presented with a delicious popover with strawberry butter and an espresso cup size of soup. Yummy. I would come back just for that. What I was planning to order was out so I got the blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries because I love bacon jam although don't ever order bacon on my burger. The bacon onion jam came on the side. Not sure why cause it's delicious. The tomato and lettuce mayo and ketchup was also served on the side so I imagine it helps with avoiding personal preferences of wanting less or more of something. I personally feel you should eat it as the chef intended. Of course that doesn't apply to every place. The sweet potato fries were rather bland and clean. I don't care for them in ketchup. I ordered a hot jasmine tea and it was dammann one of my favorites and it was perfect with lemon and honey. As a finale with the check I got a sweet treat. See photo.

Came for the food, left with a belly full of Espresso Martinis. Absolutely a gem of a spot. Service was great, and fast.

The popovers are a delicacy not to be missed!! Definitely ask for more! The yummy broth it is served with is delicious! The ambience is modern classic.... Everything is delicious but I ultimately go for the popovers! Enjoy!!

We were at the Town Center Mall, so we had to go to Mariposa inside Nieman Marcus . It's on the second floor. They have floor to ceiling windows We were seating immediately, with the menu's .We got water right away. Then 'h deceiver on the Turkey Club wheat wrap , avocado, gruyere cheese lettuce and tomato, ranch, Again a small rabbit head of fruit couple of berries and french fries a little too salty for us presentation was great.

The food is very good and I can tell that they use high quality ingredients. The service is very nice, ask for Mrs.Patty as your server. The atmosphere is very inviting, if you go around brunch time it's less crowded, the chef has a very nice menu. :)

This was my first time at Mariposa in Neiman Marcus and the food was really good. Service was also great, they couldn't make any non alcoholic "mocktails" which was a little disappointing but non the less I would return. Had the salmon tacos which were really juicy and seasoned well.

I may refer to it as Needless Markups, but I have to admit Neiman Marcus is one of my favorite department stores. And I especially like the Neimans in Boca Raton because it's home to one of my favorite places for lunch... The Mariposa Tea Room is rarely crowded, although my mom and I were forced to find 2 seats at the counter yesterday...but that's probably just because it was Black Friday. Didn't matter much though because the service is still excellent at the counter. When we first sat down we were greeted by a waiter with a delicious popover and tiny little cup of soup...the tasty popover alone always puts a smile on my face and immediately made me feel better about all the $ I've dropped on clothes. Finally, something FREE from Neimans! The good food doesn't stop with the popover. The chicken salad, which comes with fruit and a freshly baked muffin, is my standard order (my mom is a big fan too). However, yesterday I was still full from Thanksgiving dinner the night before and ordered a bowl of tomato basil soup instead. I can go either way on tomato soup, but this I'm a fan of! Actually, I don't think there is anything on the menu you can go wrong with here. And unfortunately for my bank account I feel the same way about their clothes and accessories...

The food here was okay. I had the salmon salad and a bowl of lobster bisque soup. The salmon was pretty fresh. It had a real, fresh from the ocean flavor. I thought the size of the salmon was skimpy though. The salad was okay but I think they could have been more imaginative with the vegetables. I would have liked to see some oyster mushrooms and raddiccio lettuce to jazz up the salad. I would expect more creative and unique veggies at a restaurant in Neiman Marcus. I thought the lobster bisque was way too salty though. The flavor was pretty good, but it was overshadowed by the saltiness. I drank a lot of water after leaving here. I skipped dessert because I was full.

In two words, "immaculate experience." This restaurant is the perfect place to meet a friend for lunch and not have a care about going back to work afterwards. Situated in the Boca Town Center Mall (Neiman Marcus), Mariposa is a modern contemporary version of a tea room. In Mariposa, they have taken great care of each element of the dining experience from the exquisite dining utensils, to the presentation of the food, to the quality of the ingredients and lastly the professionalism of the staff. They start off with serving you a delicious pastry popover and soup while you look over the menu. The blue glassware which they serve your water in, I seriously wanted to take them home, they were so pretty. Always I have ordered the seafood trio to start off because its a excellent variety of fresh seafood. The quality of the shrimp cocktail, lump crab and the salmon is wonderful. Another favorite item on the menu is their refreshing grilled shrimp salad. They have great options on salads, sandwiches, and seafood. Lastly, try their desserts with a cup of tea or espresso.

Unfortunately, someone in management apparently looked at a perfectly good menu item that customers actually enjoyed and thought, "You know what? Let's get rid of that." The potatoes were the reason I came back. Crispy, flavorful, and somehow capable of making any meal better. Now they're gone, replaced by disappointment and confusion. I asked if they would be coming back and was told to write a review. For now, it seems these potatoes have been permanently exiled for reasons known only to the menu gods. The rest of the meal was fine, but it's hard to enjoy anything when you're mourning the loss of what was clearly the star of the show. Removing your best side dish is a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off. Until the potatoes return, I'll likely be spending my dining budget at establishments that haven't declared war on happiness.

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

There was valet a lot of free parking in front of the restaurant. This was a real happening, the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. There is an extensive wine list, with many by the glass along with crafted martinis & cocktails. Joshua waited on us, he was on point. We started by sharing a delicious calamari appetizer that was enough for four of us. The calamari was fresh crispy and tasty. I shared baby back ribs with a huge baked potato and delicious coleslaw with my husband, it was more than enough for the two of us. Friends enjoyed their huge salads, they looked very good and they raved about them. The portions were very generous and prices were reasonable for the quality of our meal. How it sits us at a booth directly next to the bar which had been empty since we arrived that 40 minutes earlier. Seriously? In the meantime, the bar overflowed with the usual selection of Boca, babes, and pretentious men with bad rugs. Service was good, however, and the food was definitely B or a Level,, in fact, my French Dip sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. My dining partner could barely finish their fish sandwich due to it's sheer size. It is worth mentioning that the menu definitely comes at a price point higher than most chain restaurants. If they can only provide the dining experience without all of the locals who jammed the place and carrying on conversations as loudly as they can, you really have something.
