Our server Luciano was top notch!! Some of the best Tacos Pastor I've had. Refried beans were great. Kathi loved her Garlic mushroom shrimp.

First thing is which is always important you are always greeted with smiles as you enter and seated . We prefer sitting in the bar area which is open sitting ,they have very comfortable booths nothing is worse than hard benches ! Love the Margarita Puro , and the Tilapia Mojarra , rice and the best garden salad in town it's always fresh ! The appetizers are great also but I really love the tilapia ! The staff is great they make you feel comfortable and Hector keep Smiling you are the doing an Amazing job !

Excellent Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque! Great customer service, nice greeting, good drinks and excellent food. Bar seating area has TV's with sports viewing while main dining room is comfortable. A gentleman was playing a guitar and singing Mexican songs. So beautiful. Large parking lot. Located near I-40 and Coors Blvd. I was impressed with Mariscos Altamar's restaurant.

Some of the best Cevice I've had in NM! I would get the Ceviche Nachos to share with someone because it comes with a lot! The chips served with this dish are so good and it has a small kick and a lot of flavor

The flamed oysters were ok but not quite what I was hoping. They needed more flame. The cheese on top was barely melted. The el Diablo sauce needed help from a hefty dose of hot sauce to live up to its name. The place was pleasant, service good and friendly. I will come back and try other items in the large menu.

    This was good!

Very good hidden Gem in ABQ! Got a tip from a local and glad we listened! Place was open and clean! Service was real good! And food was beyond expectations! Pretty traditional Mexican food! My Shrimp Entree was great and the Queso Dip was Super Cheesy!

After a couple days in Albuquerque, I needed a green chile fix before returning home. Yelp led me to Mariscos and it was pretty good. The green chili pork had great flavor. The meat itself was pretty tough and grisly. The refried beans were some of the best I have ever had. The service was friendly and fast and the prices were pretty cheap. The neighborhood is pretty rough. I would not take my wife or kids here especially at night. Homelessness and drugs up are nearby this location.

    Ceviche tostada - really good

They were on top of it but not overbearing. Both so knowledgeable on the menu and also easy going. We never felt pressured or rushed. Dropped by for dinner last night…read more Spectacular if what you want is oysters. Less impressed by the rest. Service - 4.5/5 All staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The gentleman manning the raw bar was all around excellent, extremely helpful when it came to helping my partner figure out what oysters would suit her tastes. Our dedicated server was less helpful. Although she suggested a dish for me as non dairy, the bread that came with it ended up being soaked in butter. Fortunately the gentleman at the bar saved the day and brought some toasted bread, sans butter. Cocktails - 5/5 Both of the drinks we had were excellent. Not oversweetened. Good evolution. Hook Platter - 3/5 Oysters were deliciously fresh and the fact theyre flown in daily really showed. The prawns were large, but I found them a bit overcooked for my taste. The class were similarly nothing to write home about. The tuna tartar was fresh, but not particularly flavorful. Perhaps a fattier cut of tuna might make it stand out a bit more. The sauces, however, were both excellent, and made the prawns a bit more tolerable. Overall, I'd recommend skipping the platter and just ordering the oysters. Red Curry Mussels 4/5 - For better or worse the bread dipped in curry sauce is the best part. The mussels themselves were good, but there were also several unopened ones left in the dish. The vegetables included in the dish didnt really go all that well with the curry base either. With some refinement, this dish could really be improved, but it was reasonably tasty as is. Overall, I can comfortably say LURE is an excellent choice for cocktails and oysters, but if thats not what you want, there may be better places to be. However, with some investment into the rest of the menu, LURE could become THE seafood destination in Albuquerque.

(Not that this…read moreis hard to do in a city like Albuquerque, but i did work for 5 years at Copeland's and just got back from a trip to NOLA.) And yes, the food was delicious, but good lord, I haven't had this bad of service since I can remember. I think the younger girls working were related to the woman cooking, but I implore you... take The Girl in the Pink Shirt off of the register. I asked if the food truck was still open and she just stared at me. I asked if the shrimp platter included fries and she just sort of rolled her eyes upward and barely answered. I paid and she just left the register. I waited a minute or two and had to get her attention to ask whether I should return to pick it up, if I should get a number placard, etc. And on top of that, she was consistently you visibly arguing with the others in the truck every time I was up there. Like, girl. You are in a public-facing position of service. Act like it or don't do it. Furthermore, I paid for my food at 6:37pm. (I literally checked my credit card.) By 7:18, when I went to check on the status of my order, I was told by the older woman/owner she "had the fries ready and was fixin' to drop the shrimp." Why it took 41 minutes to drop some fried shrimp is beyond me, but at 7:21 I finally had my food after going up to the window two more times to inquire, while juggling a grumpy two year old in my car because all my friends had cashed out and already left. Needless to say, I won't be back for a $20 dish that took almost an hour to make on a random Tuesday night, though I do hope they spend some time adjusting their systems and working to improve guest satisfaction because they could easily corner the market on Cajun food in Albuquerque.

My husband surprised me with dinner here while we were in Albuquerque celebrating my 50th birthday,…read moreand it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.
