I very seldom save and reheat fish but this was so good even reheated. Anaya's has been my go to for seafood for a couple of years, I think they are now even better. Just one customers opion so if you have not tried Anaya's maybe you should and then make up your own mind. There's also no hand-washing sink or station like most seafood boil spots have, which just feels odd. Overall, it doesn't give "seafood restaurant," it gives Tex-Mex mariscos. Very limited non-alcoholic drink options too. If you're here for the shrimp/crab only, great. Otherwise, there are better options.

However, at $56 for a fried chicken that lacked seasoning, I found the price hard to justify. Maybe the cooking method or oil contributes to the cost, but I expected much more flavor for that price. Overall, I'd rate my experience a 7.5/10. Would I come back? Yes. I'd be willing to give Roots another chance and try something different from the menu. But when I hear Southern food, I expect bold seasoning and comforting flavors, and that's the one area where this meal really fell short.
