I'm impressed. This felt like a whole in the wall place that looked nicer than I expected. Food seemed like authentic Mexican. They actually gave me 2 very different salsas when we sat down and both were good. One was more of a creamy green salsa and the other a chunky red salsa. I'm under the weather, so I ordered a shrimp seafood soup and it was pretty good. Lots of ; they didn't skimp and I appreciate that. Breakfast prices were really good and the other pricing is standard. My counterpart had 3 tacos and really liked the shrimp one, but did not like the Ensenda fish taco. She said the fish was too saggy. We also ordered the Chorizoqueso and it was really good! Overall a good experience. read more

I was craving a shrimp cocktail and decided to try it at this restaurant. I was disappointed to see that they only put onion, cilantro, avocado and shrimp. I will never return to this place or recommend this it is 100% the worse mariscos restaurant I've ever been too. I ordered a taco gorbernador and got this shrimp taco with salsa! it was not good. We also ordered a molcajete and the onion and peppers were raw. The shrip were dirty full of poop I mean they already cut them open why not clean them ? It was just really bad no flavor. Service was not the best neither the girl did say she was new so I understand why the service was not great but when we asked for an extra plate she brought out a Dripping wet plate and said " it's wet but it is clean" ummm no. I don't understand how they have good ratings for food when it was not good at all. The "levanta muerto" plate was soo fishy and just tasted bad I didn't even eat it. The "camarones cucarachos" were fried in what seemed like bread crumbs and they were not that great either, the sauce that came with them was good, usually they fry them then cook in sauce but each place has their own cooking. I'm not sure if it's because of COVID and they have limited staff but the service isn't the best. Took a long time to get the check. The girls were nice though. *** update my review after 3 other visits before Sunday 9, 2017 the service is not the same. Seems like the owners ring their family to eat and pay little attention to the customers even if there's only 2-3 tables being served. They used to serve shrimp soup with every entre and now you get old chips with some salsa that has no flavor. The micheladas are weak now they don't taste the same as 3-4 months ago. And last but not least the place smells like old mildew. Don't know what happened to this place in the past 3-4 months, since we first came here. Came back 3/16/2018 customer service is good, but the food has gone from great to worst. Paid 10.00 for a cóctel de camarón and there was only 10 shrimp in my bowl. I actually did count them... the micheladas are worse. ***This place give you 10% to check in on yelp and another 10% if you leave a good review ... it's actually advertised...lol shady business... so if this place has a 4 star it's because the reviews don't. On July 14,2021 I was fortunate to be able to have lunch and have a favorite dish from their very large menu. I enjoy Shrimp cocktails which theirs is one of the best. The service was excellent, Edith G knows how to provide restaurant hospitality and provide friendly and knowledgeable service to the customer. There's no air conditioning! Either they refuse to turn it on or are too cheap to fix it. They didn't even turn the lights on until it started to get dark. The food was ok, the waitresses were very friendly but these poor ladies were sweating the whole time. Not sure I trust the quality of food if they won't pay for basic utilities. This place has the worst service. When you call Your order in they love to tell you over the phone it will be ready on 15-20 min. Don't ever expect it to be ready in that amount of time. You will wait at least 45 min and the female owner has the biggest snob attitude. You would think someone who owns a business would be nicer to their customers and give them a discount on their food if they wait forever, Nope In her eyes as long as you are spending money there she can care less. We stopped by this place randomly while waiting for our car wash across the street. The place is too dim however the food was pretty good. The molcajete was amazing. It had shrimp, nopales, beans, chorizo, chicken, steak etc. It was very tasty. I ordered a chile relleno plate however it did not taste fresh. I am giving this place a three star because of the horrible night server/bartender.. who was more interested in the guy at the bar than us, the only table in the entire restaurant... We ordered Menudo.. exceptional Chili Verde .. dry but very good flavor. A combination cocktail - Viva la vida .. a little too sweet for me .. but full of fish shrimp octopus.. I would order again and add tons of lemon The Michelada was delish .. the put what I think are shrimp pierces in with the beer .. yummy Let me add .. they advertise 10% off by checking into Yelp:. But they have a tiny small print (can not see) that mon-fri .. you can not see this print Next they have a blue light that is strobing.. they need to make this a steady light .. way too much for this restaurant (not a nightclub) They had a wonderful singer .. while not the best voice he really had us entertained..
