I was really disappointed with my experience at Las Islas Maria's in Corona. I came in expecting authentic Mexican food, but what we got was far from it. The food honestly tasted horrible and nothing about it felt authentic or well prepared. My family also ordered Micheladas, and there was clearly no alcohol in them. When we asked about it, the lady working there insisted there was and claimed the ice watered it down and the lime was overpowering the taste. That explanation didn't make sense because there was simply no alcohol flavor at all. On top of that, the portions are small for the price. The food isn't worth the cost, the wait, or the overall experience. For what you pay, you'd expect much better quality and flavor. Unfortunately, this place felt like overpriced Mexican food that completely missed the mark. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to overpay for food that isn't enjoyable. read more

It was a tostada with about 2 tablespoons of diced cucumber, tomato, and onion all under boiled shrimp...no flavor to the shrimp such a lemon.
