I usually go to kickin crab for the shrimp but today me and my friend wanted to try their crab. We ordered the snow crab legs and it was a little too salty. I also ordered the fish and fries to try for the first time. The fries were good but the fish was alright. I was expecting the fish to be crunchy but it looked like they used the chicken tender batter lol. Very clean inside and service was excellent! Overall, I'll be sticking with the shrimp. I ordered a pound of shrimp with sausage, corn, and potatoes and Gumbo. The taste was OK. I ordered both items mild heat, but id recommend ordering medium if you can tolerate it. Mild was not as flavorful. Also, the shrimps were not all deveined--I prefer clean shrimp. If I had to guess, I'd say I had to devein 65% of them, which was a hassle. The gumbo was meh. Didn't love it but didn't hate it. The only reason I won't order again is because of all the deveining I had to do. read more

Been here twice already and this place never disappoint. Good flavors, very fulfilling, good service, and very friendly and tentative staff members which make your dining experience fantastic. This location is very roomy and has plenty of parking spaces but it does get busy so plan accordingly. Lots of room for large parties, plus they have an outdoor patio with more seating options. We were greeted and seated right away! The woman who helped us was very nice and helpful since it was my first time here. I went with a friend and she ordered for us - 2 bags of shrimp with medium spicy. It was very good and i hate my whole bag. Very clean, plenty of space & parking, cool decor!! Pirate like/nautical. I have been coming to this location ever since they first opened, over 10 years now, and it has always been one of my favorite spots. It can get busy at times, but the service is consistently quick and friendly, which makes the experience smooth every visit. The food never disappoints. Their sauce is always perfectly buttery and flavorful, especially compared to other shrimp boil spots where the sauce can lean too salty. My go to order is always the Dungeness crab or king crab, along with the wings and calamari. Everything comes out hot, fresh, and so satisfying. I also love their sides. The Cajun fries, sweet potato fries, and garlic noodles are all must orders. Watching the game here with a few beers is always a vibe, and the atmosphere makes it a great place to hang out and enjoy good food. I was curious to try this seafood boil chain since I usually go to The Boiling Crab. It was VERY busy even though we arrived at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. We were 8th in line or so, but it went by pretty quickly maybe after 20 minutes or so of waiting we were seated. The service is very attentive and they were still really friendly despite dining in towards their closing hours. Their everything sauce is more on the sweeter end of the spectrum and less salty, as most customers noted. I don't prefer it over Boiling Crab, but it was good. They provide plenty of lemons that have been which kind of crushed which made squeezing them easier! King crab -- 5/5, these were SO good. Very expensive, but I was really craving them. It was difficult to open as they were crazy spiked, Clams -- 5/5, perfection! I love smaller clams and these were great. Shrimp -- 3/5, the shrimp was overdone. They were mushy. Garlic noodles -- 5/5, classic viet cajun entree. Very garlicky and I love the noodles! Better than getting rice but definitely more calories. read more

My mom told me to write a review on how bad the quality of our shrimp was yesterday. :( Typically, fresh shrimp is easier to peel off... but yesterday both bags of our shrimp were very low quality. They were almost mushy and due to that, they were so hard to peel from the shell. My mom couldn't even finish her bag.. Very disappointing because I usually love ordering from here and was so excited to eat their food yesterday. The only reason why I'm giving this place 4 stars is due to the service. Would I be back for the food? I highly doubt it. The flavors and spices didn't marry well with my tastebuds. I would rather continue making it at home with as much corn as I want. If you love thyme and Cajun seasoning, or even if you don't, I would say try going at least once and make your own conclusion. Its 9:10pm Sept 12 2026. Manager and staff members did not seat us because "they had things to do." This is absolutely unacceptable. Manager said they close at different hours, although they close at 10. This was our first time coming to this location and we were disappointed. Management, please talk to your employees and make sure this does not happen. Please check cameras and you will see we came in at 9:10pm. 50 minutes before closing time. Wow ... horrible .... I loved this place a lot , I come at least once a month . But I don't know what happens to this place this time I brought my daughter with her teen friends. From the place being 80% empty and we wanting to sit boys in one table and girls in one .. they sat us down completely on opposite sides of the restaurant so we could not see each other . Wow I can't believe it this was horrible there survive has decreased so much . I don't see any of the waiters that normally are here when I come . Came back for our 8th Anniversary of our first date that we had here! Still as delicious as the first time me and my wife came on our first date. We love it here, we order 2 pounds of clams and 1 of mussels with mild "kickin style" seasoning and devour it! The corn and potatoes are so juicy and delicious. Went today and this place has had a facelift! I guess they remodeled everything in December of 2025 and got new owners, the ambiance is more modern and not the kitschy vibe it used to be.
