Everything on the menu was delicious! People just back from Mexico City said the Agua Chile Verde was totally authentic. Portions were large and at a good price. We tried several of the ceviches and tacos and they were all quite tasty. The chef and server were really friendly and helpful, too. Looking forward to our next visit to Mariscos Tone Camerones!

This truck and its location is the epitome of San Diego good eats. After ordering at the food truck, you can get some Mexican cokes at the liquor store and sit on the spacious patio that has a beautiful view of golden hill. The guys are so nice and deliver great service even though it's an extremely casual setup. This is an absolute must for tourists and visitors wanting an authentic San Diego experience. The food itself is phenomenal. The ceviche is perfectly balanced with the right amount of spice. I went with my partner who usually isn't very fond of ceviche and he couldn't stop eating it. We got the steak tacos and the fried shrimp tacos. These were perfect too. The shrimp taco was everything you'd want and expect in a shrimp taco, but slightly elevated. We're already planning our return trip!

Best ceviche and tacos in town! The flavor, the spice, the crunch... perfect! Satisfies all the taste buds.

This truck once operated out of the Del Mesa Liquor store lot but has since moved to a vacant lot on W Morena Blvd. This allows them to post up near the empty business with tables and chairs mostly underneath the building awning to offer shade. Plus, plenty of parking! The OG Fish Taco now at $4.25 is the obvious choice. It somehow comes with two battered fishes (each SO crunchy) along with fresh pico, cabbage, and white sauce. Despite its battered format, it is still mostly fish. Otherwise, the grilled fish taco is $6. Maybe slightly healthier and less heavy if that's what you're looking for. Their mariscos are something to celebrate as well. The tostada shrimp aguachile for $12.95 was beautifully presented. Upon first glance, it doesn't appear to have much shrimp, but hidden underneath the multitude of fresh cut fruit and avocado was a treasure trove of raw shrimp. This one was a bit harder to eat but they thoughtfully give you another chip underneath to use as your vessel for consumption. It's all so, so messy, but the truck has a wash station to clean up your hands afterward. Oh, did I forget the complimentary seafood consommé gifted to you as you wait?? Simply the best! Somehow, Kiko's is still legit despite a potential dilution of operations across the other truck and the new brick and mortar. Definitely a preferred location for easy access, top quality mariscos, sit down table availability, and early morning grub session (open as early as 9:30am).

I did not see an entry in Yelp for this particular spot and I have never felt so compelled to add…read moresomething here for a restaurant so deserving of both praise and recognition. Simply put, the food here is amazing. On the Bonehead Burger, their primary offering, the meat is smashed perfectly, giving it a delicious crust that is crispy on the edges and still juicy throughout. The sauce on it is well balanced, a great mix of sweet, salty, and lightly spiced flavors that they add just enough of to expertly avoid making things too messy or drowning out all other flavors and textures. All of the fixings added give it a nice, overall crunch where you can still taste the tang of the pickles or the slightly sweet and acidic tomatoes. And it's all topped off by that Maple Bacon and those Crispy Onions. And if that sounds good, but you don't want a full burger, you can get all of those toppings on a tub of well-cooked seasoned French fries instead. I have eaten here a half a dozen times at both their brick and mortar sites in Old Town, as well as this truck, and the food has always been at that same perfect level. I have never been disappointed in any meal I've had here and I find myself going to my daughter's school functions excited at the slightest possibility that the Bonehead Food Truck might be there catering. If you're a lover of good burgers, you need to have Bonehead on your list of ones to try. If you're in San Diego, stop by their physical site. And if you're lucky enough to see this truck pop up somewhere, ignore all other trucks and see what Bonehead has to offer.

Devilicious is a San Diego-based food truck and a long-time participant in the twice-yearly Great American Foodie Fest in Las Vegas. I must've tried them last time because I found a picture of the duck confit grilled cheese. Whether I was slacking on reviews/photo uploads that weekend or I intentionally avoided doing the review, that sandwich clearly wasn't memorable. But I tried them again because of the relative lack of out-of-town newcomers, and I wasn't disappointed this time. My choice was the Cali Pork Belly Burrito ($11, at least for this event), their version of the San Diego local favorite California burrito. It's a burrito with french fries inside, and the first one I ever tried was fantastic. This rendition is an even larger departure from its Mexican inspirations, with the salsa verde and perhaps the crema being the only Mexican flavors discernible. However, it was still a filling treat because of the delicious, not-too-chewy pork belly that's cut into large chunks. The potato were pretty good too. My only issue was that one half of my burrito had zero meat when I got to the bottom; fortunately, I still had the other half still to eat. The Cali burrito seems to be a newer menu item, and I hope it stays on. And I hope that Devilicious keeps coming back so that I can work my way through the rest of their menu, including their popular lobster grilled cheese.

Its $9 for the real life Delivious food truck version of the Cubano sandwich...this was pretty darn good, but also pretty darn small! Its on sliced bread, not a long roll. I was still feeling hungry afterwards, but I didn't feel like paying another $9, nor $4 for fries...the motto is "Food is so good its bad"...the food is good, but the portion/price ratio is very bad. But to be honest, its probably enough of food for a sorority girl, a child, or a midget, but not for a grown 6ft-2inch 190lb male. As with all food trucks: No free water, no place to sit, no bathroom, nowhere to wash your hands, etc...it also doesn't help that I know of a little place in Clairemont that serves a bigger Cubano sandwich and with fries or a salad for only $5.95.
