Bad food and sad flavors. You are guaranteed a visit to the toilet soon afterwards.

The meats (prime rib, leg of lamb, roasted turkey/chicken, pastrimi) were very tender and flavorful. I asked them what do they do with the turkey carcasses and they said that they sell it for $8. So if anyone wants turkey to make soup, it's a good deal.

Even though I wasn't really in the mood for a really heavy lunch, but it was nice to have sandwich options that weren't full meals. I had a roast beef sandwich with the top bread dipped in au jus sauce and a Caesar salad. It can be a little intimidating ordering - the people there seem to expect you to be quick/decisive and to know what they're going to ask before they ask it, so there's a bit of impatience at times. And there are so many choices that it can be a little overwhelming. But the many choices are good. It's like an elevated cafeteria setup where the meats are freshly cooked and just look better than you might expect. The beef I had was cooked perfectly and tender and bitable in a sandwich without you dragging out the whole piece trying to take a bite. The Caesar salad was fine, nothing special. It's premixed, so the lettuce leaves are a little soggy, but the flavor is OK. Overall, good comfort food and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Happy to have tried it again after all these years.

I always get the Mexican food such as the taco salad because it comes with a free soda and is pretty filling. I tried almost all the food here and it's pretty standard fare for Cisco cafeteria food. One major improvement they did was accept credit cards. But post-remodel, the flow and crowds are still more or less the same as before. The cafe is definitely the choice of convenience and not for the greatest food. The staff is always friendly and mostly get your order correct but they're definitely overworked especially during the lunch rush since only one person works per station typically

I made my ways around the different types of food they had to offer, and nothing. Not a single pinch of interest was there. So, I decided to default to the soup, which was some lentil soup thing. I loaded my bowl, added cheese, got my crackers, and left. So i'm sitting there, in my cube... enjoying my soup. My co-worker approaches me; "Hey, what do you think of the soup? pretty good huh?" then I say "Yes! This is the perfect meal to default to. Mmmm it's savory, it's just what I nee- ... Oh. My. God. No." No... It couldn't be... It's gotta be a burnt lentil... no, those aren't wings. Noooo that can't be a face! Yup. A fucking big, luscious, protein packed fly was an added ingredient to my fucking soup. "Um.. are you seeing what i'm seeing?" - I asked my coworker. "What is that? Is that a... no... oh my fucking god.. no.. I JUST ATE THAT SOUP." I quickly stand up, walk to the mens room, and completely rinse my mouth out. I grab my fly-soup and march straight back to the cafeteria. I quickly ask the nice lady in the front if I can kindly speak to the manager. "Is something wrong?" she asked, "Yes. Yes indeed there is." Long story short, I didn't make a scene. I managed to resist yelling at the top of my lungs "YOU SIR, STOP EATING THAT SOUP. THERE'S FLY SHIT IN THERE". But I didn't. The manager even asked "Hey, let me make it up to you. Come back next week, and I'll make it up to you with what ever you like!" Why in the hell would I be enticed to want to eat at this place again? If there's a fly in the soup, I can imagine that everything else is just as clean. I have now been inspired to never eat out again. It's hard because my wife loves to eat out... But as far as every day eating, I'll be packing up left overs and ham sandwiches.

I got a fried chicken plate with a side of mac and cheese and collard greens. My husband got the mango habenero wings and fries. The kids shared brisket and mac and cheese. The chicken was crispy, well seasoned and hot, the brisket soft and smoky, the mac and cheese was possibly the best mac and cheese I've ever had in my life (I'm not a huge meat eater in general so this was my favorite)???? The collard greens were flavorful and a hint of spice. We have little kids so we find ordering delivery easier but I noticed on their website they do Soul Sundays with live music from 1:30-3:30...and I really want to try to make that work one day. All in all very pleased with this lovely lunch we had for Father's Day!

I felt very comfortable with my date as there was plenty of seating, instead of doing the short wait for the dining room we opted for the bar seating as thats something we often do when dining out:) we weren't sure what to order because anything & everything here looks bomb & sounds good on the menu. the bartender was sweet asl & so were the drinks so we get the chicken & waffles and a smoked brisket plate that came w greens & mac and ill just emote here‍I really like the seasoning of the chicken, its a lil more complex & a lot more flavorful than the chicken & waffles we're used to getting at restaurants brisket was on incredible, sides were awesome, we definitely gotta bring family here when they come out to visit us & enjoy everything off the menu. chill ambiance, excellent space, my ONLY regret is we didn't get anything from the bakery because that all looked bomb too we just had a cake we had to finish waiting for us in the fridge s/o the staff for being so accommodating & incredible, we can't wait to pull up again sometime soon!

It's on the bottom floor of El Camino Hospital and is a cafeteria with several stations. You pick your food, pay at the check out register and can dine in the spartan dining area across the Cafe. See my prior review for more logistics. Monday-Panko Crusted Calamari Steak & Green Beans $8.16. This was one of the better steaks I have had. The crust was crispy, lightly seasoned and the squid was tender. The marinara sauce was tomatoey and bland, which I kicked up the Tabasco condiment pack. Tuesday-Hot Link & Onion Rings $7.64. This was from the Grillworks and the sausage had a good snap and spicy. The onion rings were from the freezer with a thick batter and okay. Wednesday-Japanese Chicken Curry $8.13. This was Global Cuisines choice with chicken cubes, carrots and peas. The curry was on the milder side and kicked up by adding chili pepper flakes, the chicken was a little chewy and the veggies were nicely al dente. Thursday-KIKKA Sushi Spicy Tuna & Avocado Roll $13.63. 8 pieces and okay, comparable to Nijiya and Safeway. Friday-Skipped It's a cafeteria with really tasty food selections, mostly healthy and good size portions. I'll be checking their weekly specials PDF for future visits: https://www.elcaminohealth.org/resources/dining/el-camino-cafe. There's no better value so if you are in the area, check it out.

It's across from the cafeteria. Also the tables are not clean. Would bring lots of napkins to wipe down anything if there is anything on the table. I would come because it's cheap and all staff eats here.
