Walked here from the Pearl Harbor memorial (about 25 minute walk) and well worth it. The food was great and would recommend to anyone. We had the BBQ mixed grill and the loco moco. I would order the mixed grill anytime. read more

We heard about it from someone and decided to try. This place has other chinese comfort food like beef tomatoes and their menu is similar to local chinese food like L & L. If you like chinese chicken cake noodle, you may like this place. Chickens are cut up into small piece without bones and cake noodles are freshly made. I mean it's not prefried, refried and served. Most other places won't make their cake noodles fresh and you taste mostly grease. This place serves perfect chicken cake noodles I've tasted recent years. Please don't expect superb service. This is a tofu stir fry small side order and I paid $11.73. The guy who took the order was so rude. I was asking question if he can substitute chicken to tofu and his response was rude. Because this is Hawaii, they also offer the obligatory burgers and saimin. I like this place because they tend to fill your order quickly. They have a few tables for people who want to dine in. It's clean, and you can listen to Cantonese conversation in the background as you stare at the parking lot. The food is not the greatest Chinese cuisine but it's tasty enough and the portions are generous. This place does pretty consistent business. This is my second time coming here. My fiance introduced me to this place to eat. They have about 8 parking stalls for them in the front but it's only 30min. It's pretty small & tight inside. They have 2 tables for 2 people, 2 tables for 4 people & 1 long table for 8 people. My fiance comes here for the mochiko chicken plate. He says it's good & his right. It looks plain but it's taste good. It's a little crispy outside & juicy in the inside. It would be more better if they added some garlic & green onions. If you don't like white rice they have brown but it's .25 cent for mini or .50 cent for regular. There french fries is so plain like literally no taste at all. It only stays crispy for a good 3 minutes & after that it's soggy. They should also put the french fries in a better packaging because all they use it a small paper bag that gets wet & falls apart. read more

My bf recommended the oyster chicken plate $8.75 Large, that comes with 2 scoops of rice (we got brown rice, $0.75 extra) and a mac salad. The oyster sauce chicken is fried crispy and covered with thick oyster gravy sauce. It was soooo good. Not too salty, but a but too oily. The taste was just right. Crispy chicken cooked tenderly, not dry. I was hoping they put more green onions because I love to eat that with savory food. The mac salad was good, homemade I believe. It would be better if the containers had dividers between the mac salad and chicken because the sauce mixed with the mac salad made it tasted really soggy. I usually don't go out to eat Chinese food because I practically eat it everyday at home. I guess this was an exception because I was starving after work. I had a good experience. This little hole in the wall restaurant puts out some seriously good eats - at least for chicken katsu and bbq chicken. The katsu was perfectly fried to order - no cold grease bombs here! If you're really hungry get the daily special, which includes chicken katsu and BBQ chicken (and of course rice and mac salad). All that for less than $8! But my favorite dish here is the shrimp with lobster sauce. The sauce is lobster-flavored with black beans and pork, with egg mixed in. So good! My family always steals my sauce and eggs, argh!
