Ordered two lunch plates that I saw the reviews on Yelp of their Garlic Fried Chicken and chicken tonkatsu plate that are generous with their portions. Indeed portions are enough for two. I tried calling in but their phone kept ringing until hung up so I drove there to to place my order. Yes, their portions are generous for the garlic fried chicken. If it's karaage it'll be a different taste and coating fried chicken which I miss so much after my return here. I could make it but I've retired to cooking . Nonetheless Mark's been at the Stadium Mall for the longest time but never venture into their take outs or dine in at their tiny cozy place.

Had time for a quick lunch and we were craving hamburger steak with gravy. Mark's is a consistent plate lunch place and it's affordable! Friendly service and food is cooked quickly and piping hot. The seating area is very limited so try to get there on off hours. We've been going to this place for over a decade I think and the food is still super ono, I highly recommend this place if you work close to the "Ice Palace Skating Rink".

Love the delicious, juicy and crispy goodness of the chicken from Mark's Drive Inn. You can't beat the low price of a $12.75 combo of bbq chicken and katsu. This mini portion of lemon chicken was also a winner. Found in the shopping complex with Ice Palace, there is a lot of parking. #bigboyproblems

The food is always on point! Service is fast and ono! We bought the chicken katsu and pork eggplant over cake noodles.

Inside dining area. Small little area but clean.

We were in the area for a pet store and decided to check this place out. A variety of good local dishes at decent prices. Food was made to order. Had a good experience here, would go back again. Good service and good food.

Great portions for great prices! I had the chicken katsu lunch plate, which came with a very generous portion of chicken along with steamed rice and mac salad. Perfectly fried and very flavorful. Staff were very friendly. Would come back for lunch again in the future!

Great food at a reasonable price. Also a convenient location with lots of parking. Great spot for local food and Chinese food

Seafood combo! Delicious!

You're typical hole in the wall drive inn and L&L look alike. Although they have what L&L doesn't. Chinese menu items! Next time I have to try them. But I had their seafood combo with Teri beef and it was pretty good.

Super fast cooking! Lemon chicken- no different than l&l - fairly dried out. But if you eat it right away, it may still be juicy. Breaded pork chop - sorry but terrible. Had to throw the whole thing away. Very thin, very dry. Bittermelon - parents enjoyed it.

On Tuesday, 11/26/24, at 11:30a I stopped by at Mark's Drive Inn to pick up lunch. I ordered the Beef with Bittermelon plate lunch. It came with 2 scoops of rice and a Mac salad. The Bittermelon was cooked perfectly with a crisp vegetable crunch and covered with a savory black bean sauce. The delectable beef married well with the stir fried combination. Although this place is small, there are some seats if you need to eat inside. Overall, this is a great place to pick up something quick to eat. I will be back again and get something else at Mark's Drive Inn.

Quintessential mom and pop - hole in the wall - consistent - local business. I've been coming here for years and never disappointed. Quick and 'ono every time.

Gon Lo Mein- huge order!

I have been here before but never remembered to put in a review. I concentrated on the Chinese dishes this time as I have been looking for a Gon Lo Mein like I could get at the now closed House of Dragon in Pearl City. While Mark's version is different ( thick noodles, no egg), it tasted pretty good with good wok hei flavor. This one is the closest to what I'm looking for with its drier-style noodles (not covered in gravy). The Oyster Sauce Chicken was so flavorful and plentiful. We also ordered the Sweet and Sour Spareribs which was plentiful and has good flavor, but some of the pieces were a bit tough. Probably another 15-20 minutes of cooking would have helped. I have to say the place was packed when we went at 11:30 on a Saturday and parking was tight, although lots of parking under the freeway if you don't mind walking a bit. Probably Tip: Call your order in if you don't want to wait for your food to be prepared.

Mixed plate. Which one you ask? Katsu, BBQ Chicken and hamburger steak. FTW

This is one of the top 5 hole in the wall joints in my book. I have absolutely loved this place from the early 2000's. Food has been consistent, prices have always been affordable and their service has always been right on time, I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes when a phone order was place. Even when I am a walk in the food is ready in 10 minutes. This is a place I crave.

Like the food that they have on the menu. They could fix up the inside and some times parking is hard to find.

I usually get the mushroom chicken. The mushrooms and veggies are always fresh! I also like the pork w/ eggplant. Both are ONO!

The guava bar was delicious and flavorful and just crumbles in your mouth! Definitely one of the better guava bars I've tried. Love how crumbly it is. The salmon belly was delicious OMFG. It looks so simple and straightforward but that sht is so flavorful. It is crispy and yet soft on the inside. The salmon belly is cut into bite-sized pieces so I didn't have to worry about using a knife to cut it. I usually try salmon belly where it is usually seasoned lightly to bring out the natural flavor of the salmon, but Guava Smoked's salmon belly is just grilled in a way that makes the salmon sweet/crispy and still get traces of the salmon taste as well. It's definitely not your traditional Japanese-style way of cooking salmon belly but really just their own. I'd go back and get this again. Another thing too. I'd get this with beer. This would hit very hard with alcohol but because I don't drink I need a kombucha. The grilled salmon belly would go perfect with it. Cheers! Uncle was very helpful and kind when serving and if you dine-in he brings it to your table.

I'm waffling somewhere between a 4 and a 5 for Moobongri's AYCE Korean BBQ experience. For the most…read morepart, their Korean BBQ experience is great. The meat is reasonably high quality, the banchan is generous (the last few times I went they even had poke as a banchan included with the meal), and the service is friendly. The "kimchee soup" is one of my favorite kimchee jjigaes on the island. Refills of meat flow generously out of the kitchen, unlike some other AYCE experiences where each subsequent order gets smaller and smaller until they finally cut you off because you've reached the time limit. I only have one gripe. While each table has a very powerful burner for grilling the meat, their universal approach is to prop up a tilted cast iron plate over the fire to grill on. It's propped at an angle so that the oil flows into a catch pan on the side. This usually means that the half of the plate tilted closer to the fire gets really hot, while the other half struggles to get hot enough and risks just boiling your meat. It also makes adjusting the fire a tricky process - if there's a lull between meats coming to your table, someone might come by and, understandably, turn down your flame. That's fine, but when the food does come out, it takes a long time to get the cast iron hot again. This doesn't stop me from coming back for more here, but just one thing I wish was better about an otherwise great experience. There is a parking lot out front but it is cramped and usually fills up. There is usually someone helping to guide parking, but when it's completely full there's only so much they can do. Street parking in the area can also be a little bit tricky.

This place makes their soondae in house as I can tell the difference with frozen soondae and non-frozen ones. Until I go to Korea to try the real thing, this is the best I can get. I definitely think they improved their recipe from the first time I tried it. The aunties here are still very nice but as always give grace because it does get busy here and one aunty would have to take care of multiple tables and party size as well. Overall I'll be coming here whenever I need my soondae fix!! If you haven't tried, definitely come and try! I still need to try the acye here with friends one day!
