I had one experience where the service was slow, but the manager was incredibly kind and I never complained about it. Having brunch before going shopping with my darling wife. Looking forward to our Asparagus fries, they did not disappoint outstanding loved the citrus aioli that came with them. My wife had the Cuban and she loved it and said it was excellent, the fries where cooked perfectly. I had the breakfast burger with an over medium egg and applewood bacon. Burger was a perfect medium and wonderful. Brittany was our server and did an excellent job it was very busy on Sunday afternoon. Every time I eat at a Marlow's, it's always a good experience. The food is consistent, delicious, service is great! This particular location is in the Collection, and can get VERY busy. You're going to wait if you come on a weekend. Be ready for it! Tonight we had takeout because I had a DoorDash coupon. One thing I noticed is that the meal was perfectly packed, the entree and sides had their own sections of the container, keeping things nice and hot without making things sloppy. The crab and shrimp nachos are always a winner because you get the same bite every time. They give you 12 chips but it's perfection. These don't travel so well so be ready to reheat or use your best judgment when ordering. When you order a side of jalapeño grits you're going to get a healthy portion. I had the chick pea fries with my burger and since it wasn't an option as a side, we ordered grits as the side so we could get that tasty avocado sauce. It's so good! One thing to note- do not use a 3rd party app to order from here. The prices are raised, and you can't use your Marlow's app to get credit for your visit. Most importantly I find it annoying that you're paying more but still the service and quality are the same. Just sucks you're getting price gouged for something that can be avoided completely but since I had that credit I was boxed in. Take out is handled by the bar, so it's awkward to stand there when you know the bartenders are busy trying to be cordial and provide good service to their customers, and you're just trying to grab your food and go. Still, didn't wait long but I felt weird standing behind a row of people drinking, eating, and socializing. I normally push to support small businesses but in this case Marlow's makes the cut because of the quality of food and service. I love it and if I wasn't trying hard to behave I'd eat here more often. If you're having issues finding parking look towards the far end of the movie theater. Longer walk but less stress finding a spot! read more

The first time we went there, we had a great time at Marlow's Tavern. Our waitress at that time was so nice and friendly and as a welcome gift we got kettle chips with bacon and cheese sauce which was amazing. We both had a burger and they were super delicious and my coconut-basil margarita was also tasty. UPDATE - Jan 2023: We had lunch at this location again and it was an utter disappointment. Our waitress was a mess. She wasn't attentive at all, the water arrived almost at the end of the meal and she came by multiple times without asking whether we're ready to order. The crab cake was good, but only one of it for $18 is very expensive. The breakfast burger was also delicious but my very veggie burger wasn't good at all. I picked it mostly because the menu clearly stated that it comes in a whole wheat bun, but it came in a white regular one. I mentioned this to our waitress who was sorry but that's all... I should've sent it back immediately but given that we had to wait quite a long time for our food anyway, I didn't want to waste even more of our time. (Not to mention that the 'burger' in it is essentially quinoa blended with vegetables so it fell apart as I was trying to eat it.) In addition to that, literally EVERYTHING is SWEET here. The burger, the salad, the cocktails, everything. This place is a hit or miss. read more

Not recommend. Avoid. Tonight I walk in to the restaurant. I see numerous open tables inside and out sitting with no customers. It's 7:30 on a Thursday. I ask for a table for 1. The host tells me there is a 30+ minute wait and turns me away. There are 5-8 empty tables right along the wall inside and the patio outside has empty tables. I point this out and the host just says sorry. There are no seats available. I wasted a 45 minute drive to be turned away. Definitely not a great way to treat people. I am not able to recommend this place. I would say find something else and do not waste the trip driving here to just be turned away. read more

Was sat immediately here without a reservation for dinner. We ordered the shrimp and crab nachos- it wasn't a mound of chips with toppings, as typical with nachos. Rather, it was 8 or so individual chips with the dip on top. It would have been nice for this to have been explained on the menu or by our waiter. We never received appetizer plates to share these, and half of our table was without silverware until well after our entrees arrived. I got the ahi tuna salad. It was smaller than expected, with a small piece of tuna. It was more of a tuna steak than the ahi tuna in thin slices I was expecting. The tuna was supposed to be rare but was medium. The salad dressing was pretty watery, with no avocado pieces that I could see or taste, although this was advertised on the menu. read more

Overall experience was ok, would have been better if your server Dylan actually liked his job or cared about his patrons. Hostess was friendly and we were sat well before the wait time was over. We ordered steak and salads which all arrived at different times which Dylan never apologized but it was apparent that the order was incorrect and they tried to make it right while we waited for the last meal. Good thing we requested water because he also failed to check on our drinks which were all empty. Just had lunch with my wife at The Collection Marlow's for Valentine's Day. The only up side was that the food was hot, so I am giving them a star. We went late to miss the lunch crowd and had no problem being seated right away. On the subject of our food order, it was a long time in coming. The server apologized when she realized we had not been served. When the meal finally arrived it was not delivered for 45 minutes and when it was, it was delivered by what I think was a manager that said he would find out why. He never came back to us nor did he try to accommodate us in any way. The server checked in regularly after that and apologized for the "mishap" but no explanation was forth coming. She finally brought us the bill and smiled and said she hoped everything was great. My wife told me to hold my comments. I did, but no longer. Would not recommend going to this location. If there is any issue with anything, it falls to the customer to just be satisfied. I find that unsatisfactory. read more

This location has been a central meeting place for my bestie and me. We stopped coming for a while. It had become rather meh. We were in for a treat when we finally decided to return last week. From start to finish we had a wonderful experience. Attentive management (Abe Gutierrez, Executive Chef!) made it a very special lunch. He actually seated me when I arrived ahead of my friend. We always sit at the bar and he treated that decision with the same care as if I had asked for a booth. He was welcoming, in charge, and gracious. Our food was excellent: flatbread of the day: so good, and the Brielicious Burgers were fabulous and perfectly grilled. We observed Chef Abe greeting and seating people, taking the time to chat and make all feel welcome and at home, while not missing a beat with what was going in his kitchen. It creates a great vibe and is comforting to know strong hands are at the helm. I have 12+ years in the restaurant business and am pleased to see this kind of attention to people and product detail back at this location, which has now set the bar rather high for other Marlow's locations. Myself and my 2 children, ages 4 and 8, diners here on Friday. We arrived around 5:15 and as expected there was no wait. The hostesses asked if we wanted to dine inside or on the patio. We opted for inside. As another reviewer mentioned, there is little room inside to wait for a table. I could see this being an issue during peak dining hours. We were promptly seated and our waiter arrived to Greet us within seconds. (By the time we left he had SEVERAL tables but our service never was lacking. He was exceptional!) We had never dined at Marlows so we were very slow to place our order as there were so many options. The kid menu is on point! Pizza, steak, chicken, etc. Each of my kids had plenty of choices which is a huge plus! We ordered the hummus plate as an appetizer. It came with radishes, pickled okra, cucumbers and Pita slices. The hummus was a little more oily than I expected but we devoured it! GREAT STUFF!!! My oldest got the double cheeseburger. Don't be mistaken....it's not 2 patties. The name is in regards to the cheese. It was HUGE! Cooked to perfection. He loved it and the fries. My youngest got the kids pizza and fries. He wasn't a fan of the pizza, but I thought it was wonderful. My oldest also liked it. It was cut in triangle slices, 4 of them. Plenty of food for a kiddo. He ended up eating it when he saw that we liked it...Kids are weird like that. I had the chicken panini with jalapeño corn grits. I'm southern and LOVE grits. I really wanted to try them but expected to not like them. My waiter stated if I didn't like them, which he assured me I would, he would bring me a new side. Well, they were Sooooo good. I swear I wanted to order a to go cup of them. I would go back just for the grits. I am giving 4 out of 5 for a petty reason, I know, but on one slice of my sons pizza the toppings were completely off when the plate arrived. What a great place. So wish they had one of these in middle Tennessee. Had the kettle chips app. Gorgonzola cheese melted all over with bacon and tomatoes on top. Awesome tasting appetizer. Then had a fried grouper sandwich with hand cut French fries. Grouper had a very crispy and tasty Pablo batter in it. A little to much salt for my taste but still good tasting. As for fries - never go wrong with hand cut fries!!!! Then had an amazing crème brûlée to finish off my meal. Washed it all down with a nice sweet tea Arnold Palmer. We tried the medium-flavored wings, which were outstanding. Been trying to get in here with my mom for months and finally found an opportunity this weekend. Our waiter was Matt who is fantastic and we started withThe seafood nachos with jalapenos which were fantastic and some wonderful Mojitos! Between the three of us we opted for the tuna tartare appetizer with fried asparagus spears, my fav- my son had their infamous burger which was done perfectly And my mom got the prime rib French dip which was absolutely the best French dip I have ever tasted!!! The service was absolutely superb, and the atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Matt was a great server and kept on top of us making sure we were never left behind and we finished the meal with a wonderful cream Brulé. Now that I have a location near me across the lake I will be going to that location to compare but for this location near coming we were very pleased and will be back. Really surprised but loved this place. The staff was so attentive. Sat at the bar since we were seeing a movie. The bartenders were awesome, made us feel very welcome. We order the shrimp and crab nachos that were different but excellent. The flavors were great and just enough. We had the shrimp and grits which were the best id ever had in the south. The grits are crunchy and delicious. Also had the black and blue salad. The steak was perfectly cooked and the salad was perfectly dressed. The food came out fast and was hot! Delicious! Great service! Perfect Valentine's Day meal. We started off with the white sangria which was he best sangria I've had if not ever, in a long time... and got the seafood nachos and asparagus fries as appetizers. Both delicious. My family and I went to Marlow's for the second time for my birthday dinner on Tuesday. We were asked to wait outside for our table to allow for distancing, which made sense. They didn't have any children's menus for my kids. I ordered a drink from the bar, and it was too strong, which I also experienced last time I visited. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and was happy to bring me extra juice to mix in. The food took a very long time, and even though I ordered my steak medium, it was still rare when I finally got it, and my husband's burger wasn't well done as ordered, either. The food was good overall, but we likely wouldn't recommend or visit here frequently due to similar experiences over time.
