One of Roseland's local staples and always reliable. Whether it's a sandwich for lunch or sitting down for dinner we always enjoy ourselves here. Came Friday night for dinner, and it was decently busy around 7. Almost all the tables full. It's a small intimidate place. Our waitresses were kind and attentive. Started with carrots in a delicious olive oil and bread. Got the hot honey fried calamari and a Caesar salad for apps and then linguini and clams and veal Milanese for entrees. We enjoyed everything. Love being here in the summer for outdoor dining but even inside it's a great, comfortable meal. Good staff, good food, good ambiance. Always a great choice coming here

This place is like my home away from home and I always feel comfortable after I leave. There is a consistent execution of natural fresh elements and I never feel thirsty after leaving this place. Thanks JohnnyR

    Great sandwich! #5

I hadn't been to Marra's for a few years, so I never saw the inside of their new location. Stopped in for lunch today and was very impressed! Same friendly people here and same great food! I went with a favorite of my wife and mine, the #5. Fried eggplant, mozzarella, roasted peppers and balsamic. The sandwich was excellent and huge! Yes, prices are not cheap...about $10 for the sandwich, but it's top quality. The new place has great seating, which the old one didn't. Parking in the lot is easy. All in all, a great lunch spot!

Ordered a salad with chicken and they automatically gave me breaded chicken (apparently they won't ask if you want grilled or breaded). The eggplant was soggy and disgusting and so was the breaded chicken. $21 for a soggy gross salad. When I called to complain all they had were excuses and they wouldn't refund me. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

RIP OFF!! I called in an order of spaghetti and meatballs which was listed as $19 on the restaurant's website (picture attached). When I arrived, I was told the price was $24. I told the woman at the register that it was $19 on the website and instead of honoring the published price she said "well I guess he changed the price." I was a long time customer, but now I'm an ex-customer.

No tomato or vinegar and they added extra of both.

I'd pay for an overpriced sandwich if they actually prepared it the way I ordered it. Twice now fail on cold sandwich orders. Three times now I've tried to come get breakfast and they are not open as stated. Don't get how these over priced over hyped local joints survive. I won't be back.

I have eaten here over 500 times and never had a bad meal. Be sure to check out the specials, as most of the time that's what I order.

I installed the JS app and placed my order ahead of time that way. I got the Edamame Crunch warm bowl for me. He wanted the Tokyo Super greens with tofu and a PB smoothie. This Sunday, my husband and I had lunch at the JS location in Livingston. It's nice inside! The building looks small from the outside, but it feels much roomier when you go inside. Lots of seating, toddler friendly with high chairs. Like the DQ and Twisted Tulip, there are also outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. The guy who took my order and made our salads was friendly and polite. JS promotes sustainability also, which we like and try to live by. Utensils are compostable, and JS does this reusable bowl option when ordering takeout/to-go (didn't try this yet)... We're fans and would recommend Just Salad.

I like the food here and have been coming very regularly since it opened. Probably 2-3 times a…read moremonth at minimum. The staff is generally nice enough. Not an enthusiastically happy bunch but not at all rude. Most of my complaints are likely related to management, as staff generally require training and support to be above average. My comparisons here are to Chopt, where I get elite status by March or April every year. -They forget to add the included bread at least 75% of the time. -The crispy chicken is like 1990's frozen nuggets. -The bowls for salads are shallow, small, and never close to full. -The wraps are fairly small. -Dressing amounts vary from just right to way too much. -My order is never ready on time. I've learned to order way in advance. -Drive through is great, but no waiting area or queue management (ie. "pull over there and we'll bring it out") for people who they need significant time to prepare orders for, so everyone sits in line. -Seemingly zero ventilation. It smells like you're eating in the kitchen. Very strong smorgasbord of food odors, if that bothers you. -Rewards system is ULTRA stingy about earning a free bowl (you get a raffle reward with each order and have to collect eight stamps for a free salad, but the stamps expire before you could ever possibly collect eight unless, I assume, you come nearly every day). Those are my complaints after years of eating there. On the positive side, and the reason I keep coming back: -The food is fresh. The non-fried chicken is delicious. -It's in a great location for a lot of people at the corner of Eisenhower and Route 10. -Plenty of options, including bowls. My wife likes the soup. -Drive through. -Rewards system usually gives a free snack/sweet or canned seltzer for next visit. Overall, I'm happy to eat here despite the prices not really reflecting the smaller portions. It's slightly cheaper than Chopt, but I would likely only eat at Chopt if it were closer to my house. I'll keep coming but after I received a very small salad yesterday (still delicious) and they forgot my bread again yesterday, I decided to write this, hoping someone sees it. Right now, this location has a captive market but it's a nearby quality competitor away from losing a customer.

My wife tried the branzino, while I decided to go with the dorado. Both fish were fresh, perfectly cooked, and very well flavored. The ambiance is also fantastic--warm, inviting, and a place where you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. The portions were generous, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality. I definitely want to come back and try some of their other dishes, especially the shish kebabs and lamb kebabs. I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Anthony, if you read this, you seriously need to check what's happening at this location. You either need to replace some of these employees or take their phones away, because they seem far more interested in being on their phones than preparing customers' orders. And don't even get me started on the customer service. It's practically nonexistent. There is no sense of urgency, no accountability, and no respect for people's time. Customers shouldn't have to stand around watching employees ignore them while orders pile up. I've known the history of Tony Boys Sandwiches and Anthony for years, which makes it even more frustrating to watch this location decline. It's hard to believe this is the standard that's now being accepted. Poor management, unprofessional employees, constant mistakes, and a complete lack of accountability are driving loyal customers away. A successful business depends on discipline, customer service, and competent staff--not employees who seem more interested in their phones than doing their jobs. Anthony, if you care about your reputation, it's time to clean house and restore the standards that built this business. This location needs a complete reset. .
